Though 320 GB is an overkill, the maximum you need is about ~60 GBs, no more (and that is about two to four times current movie collection, estimating from the average movie size).
I wanted to buy the 320GB disk because it's the most price worthy right now. It only costs 1208kr, while a 40GB right now costs 535kr. You do the rest of the math. ;)

Zoizite - Why don't you just post away all the info you know already? Since you seem hard to reach anyways. :) Anyways.. What keeps you so busy Zoizite?

Well.. It's not only for the fast bandwidth thing, but also because many of the movies are not alive on the torrent network. It would help situations where people have been trying to download an avi for a month without success!

Perhaps we can add a new category to the page saying "Worst time ever games"? And give them "worst of the worst"-star vote or something like that. :D

Spoony_Bard - Isn't this the beauty of every new game? That no one will know what to do really. :D And do you really wanna know instead of explore everything your self and find it out?

Made another WIP to let you see what easy mode is like. I forgot to turn off the record mode while practicing etc. So you will see me run through the game up to last place. Actually I did play this real time (besides first level, which was in fact TAS:ed) http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/Terminatorgmv-easy.zip Enjoy!

WOW!! I had almost forgotten this game totaly! I was sitting and humming the theme song to it when it hit me that there was a game called The terminator for Sega genesis. I recon the game wasn't being very long so I decided to make a TAS for it. Will there be any interest of this poor game at all? I made a wip which doesn't even finish the first level due to some serious flaws. One of the biggest flaws is that I don't manipulate the enemies enough which leads to a certein death as the time runs out. :D I will remake it though. Check the WIP: http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/Terminatorgmv.zip Ah! The memories. I never owned this game my self. But a friend did. Strangely this game seem as hard on easy as it does on hardest difficulty. Only change seems to be that on easy there is an UZI to pickup which pretty much obsoletes the grenades. So what do you think. Should I continue this game, and if I do, should I be running it on easy to show the extra weapon? I don't think it will change the game any besides that at all, and yes, it makes it slightly easier and faster, but that should be a good thing since level 1 sucks anyways. :D

Err.. I think you have misunderstood me. I am not taking away Bisqwits job or site or wishes to create something that is better etc. I just want to help to share the material by putting a large harddrive on my bandwidth so that more people can download faster! But if you all feel that Bisqwit should have the large harddrive with http access to it or something similar, we can all just go ahead and donate some money to him. But I already thought that the site is lacking bandwidth right? As far as I know Bisqwit is on DSL, while I am on 100mbit currently. You do the math. And about the statistics Bisqwit... We could use some sort of redirect thingie right? So that the stats will be shown on your webpage, but the download will go from my connection. Should be that hard. And yes, the old movies look like crap. I wanted to do this to help out generally. But it seems like people are more against it? Here is another aspect for HTTP download... Perhaps a user should need to do something in order to get the previligue to download from direct http? Like you have to submit a movie that get's published or something? Well.. That can be hard. But I'm just juggling ideas here. Perhaps it can evolve into something more exclusive and better? It needs to have some sort of queue system anyways, since it would be pretty tough to have many users download at the same time. And the speeds would be worse for them as well..

Strange that not many seem to have comments about this one anyways. The interest of this game being made was kinda large at some point!

Me and Randil was talking yesterday on irc, then switched to MSN, about buying a 320GB harddrive and re-encode ALL of the published submissions and host them on a large file server. Probably we will make it avalible through a regular http access. However I have some sort of queue-system in mind coded in PHP. I just wanted to hear the general oppinion about this idea. Also.. Would there be interests in help funding the harddrive that will be bought in order to make this real? Also I want to know Bisqwits oppinion on this. Will you link to an alternative download mirror which provides http download instead of torrent? No profit will be made out of this of course. Most likley the harddrive will be at my place since I got a good upstream and unlimited bandwidth. I want more ideas and POV's of this.

I haven't made contact with the guy yet. Perhaps it's better if someone more experienced with programming asks him questions?

http://psxemulator.freeservers.com/ Check that out. According to http://forums.ngemu.com/news-comments/68363-psx-emulator-released.html it should be very easy to use. And I suppose it's still rather early in it's development so perhaps we can contact that guy and ask him about recording/rerecording. Also try to get the source perhaps? A good thing (which also could be a bad thing) is that this emulator does NOT use plugins, which perhaps can help our work a bit since we don't need to fiddle around with it eh? =D

I'm into death, grind and black metal. But also eat alot of other styles and genres. Three days ago I bought tickets for a Dark funeral concert in Göteborg / Sweden. I'm to lazy to list all bands I listen to. But I found very good bands among the ones listed above. Well.. I could list some of em' I suppose: Dark funeral Immortal Cannibal corpse Six feet under Sorhin Behemoth Illnath (the first demo was awesome!) Cradle of filth (Well... Not really, but I do have the biggest collection of bootlegs (mp3) that I know of). And they actually have a couple of good songs. The lyrics are especially good as well. Very creative. Some crematory can slip in as well. Haha.. The videos are just so funny. A gigant baby is growling. "Tears of time" :D Envilent (EVERYBODY SHOULD CHECK THESE OUT!). Legionen av Daminor (My black metal band. Very melodic). Chinsaw (My band as well. Grind/death) (Also notice that it's spelled correct and I'm not accociating to Chainsaw!). Dissection - I was surprised when so many people said how bad their new single was. (Mahakali). Read the lyrics ffs! It's so evil that evil it self got scarred away! :D Extreamly well written and well composed song btw! I saw their rebirth tour last year. Very good! Oh well.. Those were some of the bands. Sorry to all bands that I missed to write about! ;) But it would be too much to write about it all. I could just dir my 120GB metal harddrive for you all to see. ;)

Wonder who it was that didn't motivate the vote?
