Hmm... If you wanna be super serious you could check if there is a movement pattern of some sort. Like if you stop moving for one frame and then hit the forward button again. See if it gives you a slower or faster result perhaps? Think it was one of the SMB games that could go on faster by doing this at certein points. Other than that, I'm clueless right now. I will check the WIP soon though and give input on it.

I don't mind a long run either. Just keep the flow up. I'm so glad that this is going somewhere once again. :)

Erm.. Will that only output as an image range or something? Or can we use it to implant avi support with re-recording? Also.. Will sound be added to that output feature?

I coulden't help to notice that we've got 900 submission entries totaly. Do you guys think we can break the 1000 submission boarder before new year? Personally I think we can if many people starts to work on their runs once again. :)

When reading this I have to agree that a .tas file would be awesome to have, or just support for the zip files. It has occured to me many times, but I for some reason did never ask for it in the emulator pages.

It would feel stupid or egocentric if I voted for my own movie.

So far so good. I really like the sound glitches/bugs or what ever they are. Sounds like you are dying. :)

Good run in general. Allthough I have a question. I already casted my YES-vote though... The boss at statue of liberty, when she first appears and jumps down to the platform where you and her are about to fight, why don't you use the magic to push her further to the ledge? I think that could be faster since she will fly closer to the ledge before even be able to hit her regularly.

Does this mean that everybody will need to encode their own movies? I my self have no problems with the games, but I beleive that everybody will need the same CRC or what ever to get it to work right? This will indeed be a much harder task than the N64 I beleive. If there will be an encode tool builtin with the PSX emulator, everybody needs a standard or something. Or perhaps strip the size of the outputted material so that an encoder more easily can grab it and do the final encoding. I would not want to get a 100GB raw video file from someone for example. Even though it's no problem for my bandwidth etc. Big issues. A smaller issue though: Shoulden't this thread be moved to the emulator topics?

Hehe.. This is why I mostly do linear games. I don't need to test THAT much. But I really think that people doing these kinds of games rules since they are patient enough to test all diffrent things. I still think about doing a couple of larger games for Genesis that requires more planning etc. Also some SNES ones. But that will come later perhaps.

Maza - I don't think DKC3 excisted for NES right? Maby a pirate hack or something. But otherwise it's for SNES.
