I was playing Sonic 2 on my console yesterday when something funny happend. I don't know if this is known allready, perhaps it is, but I'm to lazy to find out.
Anyways.. I got to Aquatic Ruin level 1. When I was under the water there are those pillars dropping down just as you pass under them. If you don't have sufficent speed you'll get killed under them. In this case though, it pushed me through the floor, making me fall for a while before I hit the bottom of the ocean and died.
I was thinking that perhaps this could be useful in upcoming events? Maby one could pull of sort of Mega man style wall omission?
To bad I coulden't record this. If it seems useful you guys will have to work something out that might allow you to cut times down even more. :)
Cheers!

I'm not sure that Rudo will be on the party. All though he is kinda good half the game with two ceram knives, and later on with laser knives or what ever.

I doubt that this will be the same thing over and over. Atleast if what you say is true. Still though I don't like the sound of AVI editing to shorten down the watching time. It somewhat kills the feeling.
Please be keen to provide the regular zmv/smv along with the avi. Not only because it's unedited, but also because it's alot smaller than the AVI.

Yeah. The speed is good. But the entertainment level is a bit low. The best entertaining levels was the bike level (level 3?), and the falling down the castle (last level?).
Also to my greater delight you used the GIGANTIC boot kick on the last boss. I found that kinda funny. :)

Hehe.. All videos here are for entertainment right? So I'm not kicking down on that. Perhaps you find your video entertaining, but sadly I don't. It's a good game which I spent hours with in the past. Never made it through though, so it was fun to see the end of it.
Who is scarred? The watcher of your video or Pimple?
Once again, just to clearify.. I'm not throwing shit on your work. Just that I don't like it.
Have you concidered a two-player run on this great game BTW? That would rock! Then you could probably clear the bonus levels flawlessly also.

Oh. Well.. It's "tomorrow" and it's still night. ;)
Yeah yeah.. I'll admit it. I stopped reading after "tomorrow". But I'm impatient to see it as well.

Haha!! Sounds awesome that 1-2-3-Kid starred in a porn flick. That should be a good gag. Bwahaha!! I'm off to track it down soon. :D
Just forgot about the japanese wrestling world. It was aired by Eurosport, much to my delight. The guys commenting on Eurosport was kinda good as well. Atleast better than the american ones. Named Gorilla or something like that right? Don't like him.
Anyways. I have some VCDs with good ol' wrestling. Too bad not much of them are swedish. The language used by Hoa-Hoa is much rougher/nastier/sarcastic/ironic/evil and more, compared to the american ones. Hillarious.
Oh.. For the swedish people/swedish reading people I have a link concering wrestling in Sweden. Göteborg wrestling. http://www.gbgwrestling.com/. It's kinda crappy. But still funny. Would luve to see some of those guys on TV. ;)
Off to find X-pac now. HAHA

It looks like you miss punches at some places. Some times for example when you kick away your hooverboard you hit two times, when you kick it next time you only hit once. Seems strange to me.
Also in the castle in the end where you are falling, there's that guy/rat/what ever that follows you. One time you hit it, next time it looks like a miss. Perhaps it's just me.
Also the action in the first auto scrolling stage is still not perfected I feel.
The bonus levels are still boring somewhat. But thats probably not your fault really. I rather see that cleared away with glance instead of loosing it though.
I don't like those unnecessary punches you do either. It could be kewl to watch that like once. I'm talking about the first auto scroller again. Where you decide to travel from right to left or vice versa by punching in thin air. Doesn't look to fun when you do it over and over. I would feel it would be cooler if you stayed at the bottom when speed increases. Looks alot more skillful.
Still these are just my oppinions and my thoughts. I might be wrong at several points. Just telling what I expected in the run. Sorry.

You're wrong mate. Sweden DID have wrestling on TV LONG before this. I remember watching this when I grew up. I started watching wrestling when I was about 5 years old. So we're in 1987 in Sweden, watching WWF with the speakers Bruno Arvidson and Lennart "Hoa-Hoa" Dahlgren. This was aired on TV3, larger things like Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania etc was aired on PPV on TV1000 with the same speakers. I remember watching Survivor series on TV1000 in 1993. Man that was awesome. One of the best survivor series I've seen I think. After some year a very known olympic wrestler in greek/roman style named Frank Andersson started in WCW, so TV3 decided to pick that up to draw more attention from the swedish citizens. Later on TV3 canceled the airing, or if the licence went out, can't really remember. Anyways.. It was picked up later on by Kanal 5 with some diffrent speakers. One of them I remembered being Micke Dubois or more commonly known as "Svullo", AKA "Elaka polisen". The quality wasn't nearly as good as with Hoa-Hoa as he is a kick-azz guy. Hoa-Hoa is BTW a former well known weight lifter. And I can for sure say that he is a better referee than those american ones which we can hear on TV now days. Todays shows are just tragic if you ask me. It's somewhat sad to see the old man Ric Flair still being active. I mean.. He was old when I started watching. :D
Now days I feel that every guy is sooooo buffed on steroids and oiled muscles and the intrigues are not even near as good as they where. It's also sad to see McMahnon (spelled?) wrestle. I mean.. What ever happend to guys like Broklyn Brawler, Bastion Booger and other great characters? Dwen Gill, or more commonly known as "Lillraggarn' " by our swedish voices, what did he do after TV3 stoped airing the show?
I heard Mr. Perfect died some years ago. Tragic. But what ever happend to Tatanka, Head shrinkers, Adam bomb, 1-2-3-Kid and the rest we could watch during the early 90th's?
I still do watch wrestling some times when I zap between channels. But I mean.. Chris Jericho and Christian are not interesting characters at all if you ask me. Bring the old days back I say!
Cheers!

Sorry man. This wasn't that stylish either. Not until the last castle where you fall down. That felt impressive somehow. But I noticed some missed hits which bugs me alot. In level 2 it seems fairly slow as well. This run would have been good if it was played in realtime. But with re-records I do expect more. This is a NO-vote.
I hope you still are to improve this run further and makes it cooler to watch. Not an easy task to take on, but I think it can be done.
Do not get demotivated by this critique, but rather prove me wrong in the next version. Cheers!

Avoiding battles should be no problem as long as it doesn't desync.
Avoiding damage in battle should be harder. Would be great to get help on this.
When the damage avoiding is solved I can decide when and where to level. About those jelly thingies. Do you get more XP the more they duplicate or is the XP value set to a static value for the entire battle?

I was using Gens movie test 9c to record a test run of Phantasy star 2. However when watching it later on it desyncs. The characters suddenly enters a battle which should not be there at all. Well.. It could be there. The battles are random encountered, but is avoidable by pressing the A-button. This should be the case until I reach the first dungeon. Never got there though.
Would be great if a coder could look into this problem.
