Would it be faster, slower or equal to land higher on the pole?

Ok. So a crystal flash at all woulden't be good? I recon Samus has taken some damage to this point right? Woulden't it help to fill it up? And what bug did you talk about Bladegash?

Hmm.. Would it be possible to avoid mother brains beam by using a crystal flash or someting like that? Or is it impossible to use crystal flash while you are trapped in the beam? Otherwise you could refill as she drains your energy.

@air_devil: Ain't OS X able to run unix/linux programs as well? I thought it was built on that core. Otherwise you could perhaps use something like an emulator for windows? Can't remember what those programs are called in mac. Virtual PC perhaps? That should be fine.

http://highness.no-ip.com/SuperMan-Level3.First.Part.zip There's the beginning of level 3. Only the flying part that has been recorded there so far. I added a save state so you don't have to watch entire level one and two in order to check out the new parts. How ever I guess non has so far seen the boss fight in level 2. Might be worth to check the run from beginning right? I'm not entierly satisfied with level 1 yet though. I will need to learn how to hexedit stuff so that I can redo it. That time it will be some frames faster, plus I will smoke all enemies in the flying level there, which I didn't in the current run because I somewhat thought it would be lame. :)

I played this game alot when I was a kid. I found it pretty fun actually. How ever the run was a bit sloppy. So there for I will vote NO. Also you do alot of unnecessary stuff that shoulden't be in there. Give it another try and re-make the run please. It could be ALOT better. ;)

@Feitclub - What was some wicked shit. He even beats me, and I've got two freakin' legs. Considering his tools though. He has three legs. Bah. Edit: @Jukeboksi: SHIAT!! That is INSANE!!!

I would love to see someone make a blazing-zoom-warp run of this game. :) And Boco.. About "cheating". If that would be cheating, than most of everything here would be. But thats another discussion. I thought this site showed movies to entertain, not to do stuff humanly possible. I also thought we exploited the limmits of the actual console games. Hardly no movie on this site could be replayed by a human on a regular console right? There for I don't see it as cheating. Getting back to this topic now then. Wonder how many minutes that glitch would shave off from the current run? Considering you don't need any keys, walking and elavators goes super fast.

Woha! Nice glitch indeed. Why wasn't it used for the last run as it was known? I suppose there will be a new run where one really exploits this alot eh?

Any more news about Morimotos run on this yet? [Edited by Bisqwit - moved the post from the game techniques thread to the Morimoto's movie thread]

Ridley and Motherbrain was slow yes. But the rest of the movie sure was entertaining. Are there a better way to complete a 14% run, then by all means show us.
