Just watched Cherry's run. It could probably be improved some. Hmm.. Somewhat this game remembers me of Super Hang-on. Wonder why? =)

I have only played it through the first level I think. The game sucked and it was very hard. How ever I would like to see a run of it knowing that it is a very hard game to complete. Good luck!

Hehe.. As far as I remember this game is pretty hard. But it didn't seem so hard when you played. Excelent speed. Good navigation. And I really like that switch and miss thing you do to avoid taking damage at certein points. How much longer would the run be if it were with the best ending?

Aww... can't you have 2 player for the bosses? It's very tough to get the NPCs to charge up their weapons, and that will help quite a bit with killing the boss. You can't charge your weapon and get the sprite to kill stuff at the same time. That, and humans can avoid the bosses' attacks, while NPCs have trouble.
It is not hard at all. In the action grid section you can set how far they should charge their weapons and also what distance and agressitivity they should have. Basicly I like to keep the action grid in the upper left corner. Allso in the menu you can choose the target option for your NPC. The NPC will walk towards this target and release it's charge. Pretty simple. Would still be better with more players though.

I would have to ask him about that. How ever. He didn't train much at all. One week intense training and he could do that. How ever he have played floor ball for some time so handling that stick is something he already knows by hand.

For the movie so far, it's pretty nice played. Like the boss manipulation.

You really just have to weigh variables with each other. I mean is the whip really necessary? 1) How long it takes to switch to the whip for the rare crossing a chasm 2) How long it would take to beat final boss with uncharged sword 3) How long it would take to switch to axe for rock obstacles 4) How much time would be lost due to losing the small improvement on spear.
For 1) it's not that rare really. The whip will come in handy at many places. So switching would become annoying. Especially in the last place. If you ask me, sword, axe and whip are the only weapons needed more or less. 2) Depending on which last boss you mean, if it's Tanatos or the dragon. Tanatos is weak against lumina, so you would wanna use that really. Both sabres and lucent beam. This will deal a great portion of damage in short time. Might as well add the lunar strength or what it's called. For the dragon (last battle) you would cast dryads sabres with the girl and sprite so that the boy gets mana sword. It takes for ever to beat the dragon without it. I have done this my self as the first time I went through the game I didn't know I was supposed to cast dryads magic. Hehe. 3) The axe is also frequent used and can cut both rock obstacles and shrubs. How ever the range is pretty bad, but the axe is still a good and strong weapon. 4) Not sure if this would mean so much in time measurements really. Depends on how fast you would gain orbs for the certein weapon. If you can build up the axe or whip with a decent speed I think it would be better to leave the spear out. Not 100% sure on it though.

Cute list you made there. If everybody had that help with their games it would be alot quicker done. :D So.. At all times the girl and the sprite should be pygmysized in order to be more efficent in killing stuff with their magics. Also.. The action grid might be something that should be taken into concideration. Instead of letting your party go wild and hit at everything possible you could tell them to keep close and stay away from enemies. That way they might not goof around as much. But I don't know if this is the best though.

Very nice work indeed. I enjoyed every bit of it probably. I think there are some minor things that could be done faster, but we are talking about frames here perhaps so it's just rediculous. :) Cheers mate. This is quality entertainment!

Yeah. That would be a solution too. But not really random right? Unless the player tap in the code to morph to a character. Oh.. And about Mortal kombat 2. If you play a character which is easy to pull off projectiles with, ie. Shang Tsung's fireballs. Stand as far away from your opponent as possible and just keep fireing. Your opponent would crouch or jump. But if they crouch for a longer time they will start to move in their crouching possition. Sliding all the way to you and pull of an uppercut. :D Pretty cool thing.

The movie stopped when I wanted it to. It's just showing wrong frame numbers and calculates the time wrong. I could post the movie file if it would help you guys.

I was never a big fan of Kirby my self. But maby someone else likes it? I would still like to see some more fighting games. How about mortal kombat games with switching fighters randomly? In mortal kombat 3 (not sure if there were these in the earlier) there was a battle code you could use to make the characters swap. Think it was called switchero. That way it woulden't be the same moves and fatalities. But then again.. Maby everybody here is less eager about fighting games than I am? =)

Hello. While playing Mystic defender I wanted to record and try some diffrent stuff at the last boss. So I started the recording. When watching the movie later I noticed that it said Length: 90000 frames ~25minutes. I only know that I played about 1min. The movie plays ok. Just that I need to know the actual length. Have I done something wrong or is this some kind of bug?

After some more experiments I have shaved off about 100 more frames on the first level. Thats before killing the boss. Still going to try to do better. Found a rout in the trees that was slightly harder to pull off, especially the last jump because there's a ninja that is easy to bump into right before I land. Took a couple of retries to get this to work. What I really don't know if it saves time to just skip enemies by jumping higher over them, instead of making a tiny jump and kill them. Any help on this would be great.

Will Test9b be done anytime soon? Also.. I'm missing a speed up key simmilar to the one in Zsnes or Snes9x. So far I've only seen a slow down function in Gens.

Don't think Ridley have a red door infront of him. Only a purple behind him.
