PvZ 2 is pretty fun but you'll have to download 300+MB to the sdcard. I also 100%'d all Cut The Ropes except 2, they're pretty cool (better than Angry Birds). iRunner is fun but it gets kinda boring after you beat. And if you want to waste a bunch of time, there Pou, lol. On ads/etc, since I always root my phone asap I can just use an adblocker (at first it was only intended to browsing put then noticed it also blocks most apps' ads too!). Otherwise there's Lucky Patcher (which also needs root) that can forcefully remove them and even generate modified APKs with them removed (the program is an AP remover too so I won't link it here).

Sad to see this run getting cancelled, especially after its revival thanks to the emulator author's fix and Masterjun himself fixing the executed code. Both efforts went waste after all. :(

This theoretically means that if you scrolled for a while just right, would it be possible to switch your current location to the Hall of Fame and cause a glitch warp as in the RBY movies?
TheZZAZZGlitch checked the addresses the scrolling can affect, and although they are not constant, they can affect: Pokemon boxes, Daycare, Secret base decorations (can give glitch decorations, Items in bag (duplication, item mutation?), Boxed items. However, it's possible a glitch move could do that, since it's common to find glitch moves that change the Battle system.

In my experiences No$gba is more accurate than VBA, even VBA-M. But it can be less pleasant to use due to lack of options compared to VBA. Haven't ever used other emulators though. There's some Dragon Ball game that gave some adapter-or-whatever error on VBA when you were about to go to an arena or something, but it ran fine on No$gba. Some other games gave similar issues on VBA but I don't remember which (it was several years ago).

In GTA San Andreas, there's a mission where you need to find a person in one of three ambulances. No matter which ambulance you check first, it's always the wrong one. Pretty tame example, but fits your "dead end" definition.
In GTA San Andreas itself there's another example. Some San Fierro mission with Cesar that you have to go to the docks, get in a crane and pick the container with a car they want to steal. Iirc there are 3 containers, but no matter what, it's always the last one. Also, in Pokémon games the AI seems to always know your Pokémon's exact ability even if it can have multiple ones. They will never use Earthquake on your Bronzong if it has Levitate, but they will for sure if it has Heatproof. And there's Touhou 09 (Phantasmagoria of Flower View). Both on the final stage on Lunatic, and Vs Mode on Lunatic, the AI will dodge absolutely everything until you lose, unless you use Aya and Medicine that are known for being broken against the AI, or Reimu and Eiki that aren't broken but can potentially trap the AI (Reimu) or catch them with a laser because they don't notice it before it's about to materialize (Eiki). The story mode is possible because every round you lose the AI gets dumber for that stage, but without these characters I mentioned, it's pretty much impossible to win everything at first round.

i'm not sure which topic to choose to ask this but here it goes: Is it possible to ditto glitch with special 251,capture the glitch monster and send it to GSC to get a celebi?
Don't think so, the game will say the Pokémon appears to be abnormal. There is another way to get Celebi via glitch on Gen 2 though.

This is really nice, I look forward being able to TAS Touhou without depending on a VM. I'll have to download VB2012 though.

I THINK Win 7/8 do that automatically if you first had a XP installed then install the 7/8 on another partition. Or if it's a different HD, the one with Win 7/8 has the boot priority. But I'm not sure, I need someone to confirm that. Dualboot is much handier with Grub/Lilo, but eh, that's Linux stuff I barely know about (have been into them when I was like 11 years old, don't remember very well).

Savestates (many VMs have those, very useful given limitations of hourglass).
You don't necessarily need them though, you can continue from the last frames of the .wtf file. But having a VM is really handy since XP is really lightweight and you won't need to compromise a whole computer with an outdated OS (I like XP, but it's kinda lacking for our days). Dual-boot would be fine though. And depending on the game, you could play back on Win 7 for recording. MMF2 games don't seem to work though, but VVVVVV did.

When I was trying to TAS IWBTG on Win 7, the graphics glitched a lot, and the runs would never sync when played back. When TASing Touhou, they also wouldn't sync, and savestates would crash after loading for the 3rd or 4th time. These issues don't seem to happen on XP. Unless there's a trick to make it more compatible with Win 7 or something. (MasterJun's VVVVVV TAS played back fine though)

Impressive glitch manipulation. But the pre-glitch part was really sloppy. Luck manipulation should actually be easier in this game than the newer ones given the AI can even change their moves during the frames. This one should go, but it demands a future optimization. Oh another note, is it viable to make a similar run on Pokémon Red/Blue or Yellow using the 8F item for arbitrary code execution? Just a thought, but I'm pretty sure the Walk Through Walls glitch would do better.

"Glitchless 100%"? Well, same as the last video I linked except you wouldn't glitch Gradius, and would get all secret items. Something like this run unassisted by Keteru. Except he doesn't use the Factory shortcut. But it's a 100% completion and glitchless.

Well, it's not exactly "All rooms" because you'd still not use the intended path when going to the Factory the second time. Also, there's a 25:42.50 run on Youtube that seems even more optimized than Kurikuton's one, and it follows the Japanese speedrunning rules: basically, it's the same as RTA's Warpless, but without Kraidgief invicibility/skip.

Sure, it likely will be way better than this one. In fact, I learned a lot with this run, for being my first one. Under the RTA rules, Any% is the highest category which includes all sorts of allowed glitches, including the invincibility ones. The warps are forbidden from Warpless onwards, but suicides for invincibility are still allowed. But warpless skipping doesn't seem forbidden at all, given without warps you can nearly skip anything. The only ones I remember that can skipped without glitches are this one and the tunnel next to it: you just go back to the Room of Transportation and jump in Kraidgief's portrait, given you'd already have beaten him at that point.

Thanks for the comparison. I can't really object it because the beginning level was mostly done with 12% framerate instead of frame-by-frame slowdown, which is something I only got used to later. And by "later levels were optimized better" I was comparing to the frame precision of my own run (as in, comparing the initial section to the latter ones). And the Mother Brain part was slow because I wasn't used to the frame-machinegunning and used my controller's turbo instead. But yeah, that was the suboptimization I was talking about which would be a good reason the refuse this run. Either way I'm okay, and possibly in the future I might come with a Glitchless run on Impossible with more polished frames. :)

The branch for this movie seems to be "Glitched, Impossible". But what would be considered the glitched run features? Room skips? Death+invincibility? Both? What would any% run be allowed to do?
Both. Pressing K at Kraidgief (pretty much useless given the suicide) and E+N+D at the final elevator are banned, though. This run is actually a bit hard to categorize under the RTA rules, as its on the boundaries of Any% and Warpless, given that where they warp I use a trick to reload a save on Impossible (while their rules apply for Hard), which technically isn't a warp, though it subjectively is. Though I'd consider more of a Any% run because of the platform warp in Tourian that is also banned in Warpless.

Also, couldn't this movie end a few seconds earlier? I know you have to dodge the delicious fruit at the end, but it looks like you do so only at the last moment. I've only seen runs of this game on YouTube, but i was under the impression that you regain control of the character sooner than what we see here. Otherwise, great work!
Yeah it could. I actually hadn't thought of that, and I fast forwarded through the whole credits and only dodged at the last moments at the impression the movie would only end at the credit's end (I actually only stopped the movie recording at the last frame of the credits). That can be fixed by the judges or by myself if it's necessary before in case it's gonna published, if necessary, though.
