Otherwise, a top whatever list is just going to be nostalgic crap mixed in with the current best of every game type.
Which is kind of the point. A list of the type you propose, one where you look at the game's impact on the industry and shit like that, is an objective list. A list like that would not be nearly as interesting as a subjective list that builds on personal experiences and stories with the games.
Just to check, I wrote one of the entries on my list. I'm not entirely sure where on the list it's going to be, so the writing isn't done yet. So far, I have a quote, a history about the game, a personal story and an explanation of why I like the game. Roughly 900 words. If I manage to get that much on each spot (which I obvioosly won't, but I have more to say about some and less tto say about some, so it probably balances out), that's fifty thousand words about games I love and why. Hopefully, fifty thousand interesting words. I want people to read my list and find it interesting even if they don't agree, and give people incentive to discuss the things I write, even when I only post one entry per day. I might tell you people when I start posting it, but it's not going to be acually directly posted on this forum.
I want to write a list of the best games ever. Not a list of the most important games, because that would just be an abridged history of video games. Which is a thing I've written for a school project once! So I'm not saying that's a bad thing as such, but it's really not as fun. Especially not to write.

It's the blind bags. All unicorns look like Twilight or Rarity with the wrong colour scheme and cutie mark. Like Trixie Lulamoon. And all Pegasi look like Rainbow Dash with the wrong colour and cutie mark, including Fluttershy.
Alicorn mold is a thing in this new wave of blind bags, however. The fact that pink Cadence exists is probably why we now are getting more white Celestias. Luna looks insanely inaccurate though.

Your list sucks and here's why: You're only listing the games. The list is not interesting in the least. It doesn't say anything.
I've made lists in the past myself, many times, and I'm currently gathering games for what I'm going to make my definite top 50 list. I've on and off worked on that for the better part of a year - according to statistics, the document was created 10 months ago, and I still have a few slots on the list to fill. And that's the easy part. I still have the part where I order them left. I mean, I'm reasonably sure of my top three, and I know some that will be higher than others, but the lower half of the list is always a pain to get in a proper order.
And once all the games are in the correct order, once I have my ranking - then it's time to actually write the list before I can post it anywhere. And this is what you're not doing. You're just posting a ranking, you haven't written a meaningful list. Every list I've made have included actually writing about the games on each place, why I consider them part of the best X games ever, why this one gets this particular position once you reach the higher ones. Personal experiences with the games. Motivations. Something to make people actually want to read your list and find it interesting even if they don't agree with the ranking. Even what I would call my badly written lists had at least two sentences about each game.
This is what you're not doing and why no one is going to care about your list at all. And arbitrarily not counting systems is dumb.
Don't agree with Cardboard on needing an arbitrary cutoff point, though. My cutoff point is "right now".

Honestly, I like the new version of the scene. The new voice is unquestionably better and fits very well with her being ditzy (SEE WHAT I DID THERE), and the eyes are still a bit uneven even if not as pronounced as they were. They didn't actually call her by any other name, so it's not like they said that she's definitely not named that. Me prefering the name Ditzy notwithstanding. (fun fact: Before that episode aired, I had been saying that I didn't think they'd get away with using the name Derpy. So, in a roundabout way, I was right.) I don't actually care about the character, and I'm definitely not seeing anything like her being RUINED in this new version of the scene. So just like after the episode aired, I get to stand at the side and be amused by the fandom freaking out about it. Though it's already starting to get tired. Funny for a day or so, then just stupid.
But the reasoning behind the change seems sketchy. Not a great fan of the kind of Orwellian Retcon they actually did. So on that level, I don't like the change.

But that's okay since every Zelda game has a different protagonist anyway (I guess Link as as common a name in Hyrule as Jim is in ours). :P
Well, not every Zelda game... there's nine Links in total so far and the Link in this game is the same Link as in ALttP and the Oracle games. But this is chronologically the last appearance of this Link anyway.
Gonna give this a watch later.

Ooooh, it runs faster? That WOULD explain why I thought the jump was slightly less floaty, and the game is slightly harder.
Otherwise, I have no problems with Cave Story+ as a game, even if there were some sketchy things about how it came to be. Nothing's wrong with the new translation, either, 90% of the "The Aeon Genesis translation was better!" is purely nostalgia from those who had their first experience with the game with that. I've seen some parts where the new translation is better. But mostly, it's just semantics.
And the remixed music is ace. Remixed Sand Zone BGM is infinitely awesome.

Kept watching, just to see the rest... all of Tarma's deaths looked really, really bad. And then the second continue, making it even worse.
Essentially, if it weren't for the continues, this would have been a good run. You don't have nine lives, you have three lives. You game over twice in this run. It's just like if you were playing at an arcade and put in three coins before starting.
Still having high hopes in the deathless run, if only Youtube could stop being an ass.

Okay, never played this game, but it looked surprisingly decent for a later Metal Slug game. Gonna have to check it out when I get my flashcard.
I don't really know what I like the concept of having two weapons to switch between in Metal Slug, but the weapon juggling in this run was pretty entertaining. If only the announcer didn't have to say the name of the weapon every time you change...
That was the good.
Now for the bad.
The grenade-replenishing deaths I could have considered fine, because the rest of the run around them was entertaining, and even though I thought they looked bad (Metal Slug TASs should really be done deathless), they seemed to be in places where they didn't really cost any time.
It's when you die for the third time and use a continue that the entire run falls apart. It's not technically an arcade game, no, but it's still Metal Slug, it's still obviously meant to invoke the feel of the arcade games (in the palm of your hand! No, wait, that was the advertising tagline for some toy. I forgot which one). No matter the system it's actually being played on, continues in Metal Slug is still an inexcusable thing. A shame, too, because the first 13 minutes were good.
Thus, going to have to vote no, for the same reasons I voted no on that first Metal Slug X submission.
Going to check out your other run later today. No Death sounds promising.
