In my opinion, you should collect all of the individual rings instead. Because collecting ring boxes isn't a necessity to get the "perfect bonus", as we all know. And it will make the run slower if you collect all of the ring boxes so, I think you shouldn't collect them.

Hey guys, this video is probably useless, but I'll just share it anyways. Glitch found by S3KGlitches, zip found by me. Link to video

This is my first WIP of Sonic 2: Retro Remix. It is both short and optimizable. Link to video

This guy becomes boring. He steals TASes and claims that they are made by him. It’s clearly visible, even without watching the original runs, that those TASes are so different in terms of optimization level, that they cannot come from one person. Also he suggested me a battle, I should send my TAS to him, and he would give me points, depending on how fast my run is… Does he really think that he has enough knowledge to rate TASes, if he uploads very well and very poorly made runs alltogether?
Wow, he stole my work. I asked him to delete all of the copyrighted material, or I'll flag them and have his account suspended. I'm not a fan of people proclaiming what's theirs and in reality it isn't.

I hope it will works with Sonic aswell.
I highly doubt that it'll work. Even if it does, it won't matter. Since the first falling spikes in Sonic's path is nowhere near the start. Which means that if we didn't do the glitch, it would be FASTER than pulling off the trick.

Here is WIP #5 for S3&K Maximum Rings as Knuckles. Nothing special to most people, but I thought it was pretty good. [/center]

It’s hard to describe in words how happy I am to see you back. So, it means that our old team is complete again :)
Yeah, it feels good to be back. As most people like to say, chose a path that you are good at and happy at. Unlike busting my ass to make Let's Play videos which quite frankly, nobody was watching.

Made a TAS (yes, I'm returning) on Pana Der Hejhog. I made a TAS on this game about a year ago. I improved by 10 seconds. Link to video

Nice zip! And to WST: He can't ask for credit this time. Aglar said in the description that he found the zip.

If anybody here is making a Knuckles WIP, please take this video into consideration. It's a perfect(?) run made by Qwerty on the level Sandopolis Zone act 2.

Pretty much this. TASing has a lot of applications, not just going as fast as absolutely possible but playarounds, showing off glitches, showing off idealized real time routes, etc
You guys are missing the point. Why upload it here if it's NOT a speedrun? I want one of you fellows to show me one run on this website that was published that wasn't actually a speedrun. Why can't they just post it on a forum that isn't dedicated for speedruns?

I get WST's side now. And to be completely honest, I'm for him. Posting a 'tool assisted speedrun' that isn't actually a speedrun has little to no reason to be posted on this website. I seriously think that their runs are entertaining, but they really aren't using the tools to speedrun. I guess the only reason why they post it here is to get attention. Pity. :/

You guys really need to realize that the run isn't suppose to be "fast". It's suppose to be entertaining. Although the post on this site is very irrelevant, that still doesn't mean that they have to optimize it. After all, I highly doubt they are going to publish the movie here on this site. So just sit back and enjoy.

This TAS begins to be really crazy and kinda reminds me of the battle between LTRP and NaturelLorenzo on TASing Sonic 2 HAZ.
I remembered that scenario. It was funny because when I had improved his time, I said to myself "there was no way that he can beat this". Boy was I surprised what a battle he put up. In the end, he wanted my GMV so he could improve my run by 4 frames.

I have to remake some parts of my Amy@S3K run again. Found a zip in HCZ1 which is too significant to miss it.
I bet that DMTM will ask for credit from that zip as well. Anyway, I'll wait patiently to see the zip itself.

Great, man! This reminds me of Qwerty’s old 100 ring collection TAS, but this is way cooler! As a Sonic TASer too, I realize how hard is to make such runs, but anyway I am waiting for updates from this project :)
Thanks man. And yes, working on these projects take a lot of patience (By finding the fastest path to get the rings). I see that you know what I mean because you made a video with only 1 act and it has around 5000 rerecords.

On Death Egg 2 I discovered you could get into the wall as Tails using any of the downwards traveling stairs but never found any way to activate horizontal underflow, it was after seeing DMTMs Sonic run I and remembering the way jumping inside the wall on FB1 as Knux allowed me to move downwards that looked into it again and managed to activate underflow. I then showed the gmv to DMTM in hopes that he could help me into the boss room in a position that was useful, he said he didnt think it was possible, after another while playing around with my y position I discovered that if you were at just the right height you could zip left into the gravity switcher. I think DMTMs claim is that he discovered horizontal underflow on DE2 but the Tails strat I came up with by myself. Yes he has found many great tricks and glitches, full credit to him for making so many great finds, I only have 2 but I'm quite proud I've made any contribution at all. Going from watching the game be broken and having my jaw dropped not even a year ago to finding stuff by myself. I don't really mind if someone else finds something 1st, I just love watching the game get destroyed, but when I discover something new myself I'd like people to know it was my find. I'm not great at speed running or TASing but at least I can do something to help. Sorry about the length.
Alright, thanks. I just saw your post for the zip and I credited you for doing so. Then DMTM jumped all over me begging for credit. >.>

On one hand, DMTM really is quick to claim credit for glitches. On the other hand, he did find some amazing zips (for example, Launch Base 2) with gives credence to his claim.
I'm sure he does find some glitches and zips and I respect that. But the thing I don't respect is his arrogance and his motivation to get all of the credit. I mean really, do you actually believe that DMTM was the one who found the zip in GHZ 2?

I'm really sick and tired of DMTM's eager to get all of the credit for the glitches (It gets so bizzare that he actually claims that he found the zip in S1 GHZ 2...) I know this isn't relevant to TASing whatsoever, but DMTM keeps badgering me to make me credit him for every glitch that I show off in my runs. Gamble's find of the tails zip in S3&K DEZ 2 for an example. DMTM claims that he showed the zip to Gamble and badgered me to credit him instead. So Gamble, is this true?
