Absolute nonsense. Almost everyone still uses .zip, I suppose mainly because Windows XP onwards have supported Zip files natively as folders.

The point is meaningless and/or wrong. Logic cannot be intuition, because logic was developed by humans. It isn't implicit to us in any way, and a computer can use logic. And a computer has no intuition.

Giggles and enjoyment all round, even from my brother who doesn't really like fighting games. Yes.

Uh. I don't think anybody denied intuition exists. It's just not related to logic at all. And yes, that's why we have lots of philosophical viewpoints. Perhaps everything is meaningless, hence nihilism. Perhaps it isn't. I tend to take a more practical view. Like "you are trolling"

None of the statements in this post are logical.

I think DK already fixed the maps I provided. If not, he said he did. 8)

'mo' is a fairly common substitute for MB, the 'o' stands for octets

I'm not sure what the appropriate suffix is, but my thinking goes like this... nihilism = belief in nothing (as well as a bunch of other hings) omni... = ... everything omni...? Nah the word for 'believes in everything' is gullible. :)

Just as other animals, different cats have different personalities. My cat is afraid of anything and switches randomly from angrily wanting attention and sleeping on top of the fridge.

Ahahahahahaha! Yeah I love this. I think with an onscreen lua Enemy HP counter this is definitely publish-worthy.

Most RPGs should store quest information as a series of flags. You'll need to search for values that change by a bit rather than by +1 or whatever. They will almost certainly stay at the same place in memory.

Almost certainly. A lot of arcade cabs do this. You could also set it to "best to 1" to make it shorter, if you wanted.

Also, a 2-player video always has more potential for entertainment than one that simply beats the computer. I do realise it is much more annoying to produce. I won't vote on this submission unless any of the things I mentioned are changed.

The problem with 'one world religion' is that there's no reason to even have one. Well, okay, that's one of many problems. The rest are left as an exercise. I've always thought of religion as kind of pointless and outmoded but then again if I were to have a real argument about it I'm sure my 'opponent' would redefine the word 'religion' to mean whatever I think, just so they don't 'lose' the argument. I don't think people who are religious are stupid. Just gullible, if persuaded by another, and self-important, if not.

I meant Guy, not Dan. :) Also, I'm sure seeing some supers would add more entertainment in the average viewer's eyes. That's why I recommended switching grooves. Also Cody isn't very 'flashy' if that's the right word.

Things I liked:
  • counter-poking Claw
  • Bizarre juggles on Cammy
  • Chipping Cammy to death
  • Walking under Birdie as he dies
  • Killing Sagat with a jumping punch after a massive combo
  • Overkill on Dan
  • Strange 'last custom combo shade' hits on Dan
  • Finally you take a hit... after you've already won
Things I would change/add:
  • Use the knife a little more
  • Do a guard crush earlier in the round for dramatic effect
  • 'Rival' fight vs. Guy should be more matrix-y if possible
  • You killed too many with his throw/air throw
It's fairly entertaining but a bit too long considering some fights didn't get any positives in my book. Also I'm not sure Cody-V is the best choice. X or A wouldn't get those long juggles but might be a more interesting watch overall. I'm not sure.

I'm not sure this is worth keeping. It's virtually identical to the Richter PSX TAS except with some extra loading screens and an even more boring way to defeat the bosses.

What the hell, why does the screenshot have the framecounter and other technical stuff on it?

I'd rather you redid it, DK. Seeing as you have scripts for best automatic movement and such it shouldn't take too long.

I'm fairly certain that the PSX and PC kernel.bin files are identical. If you want to do some prodding in the game files, take a look at the documents on qhimm.

Argh, I should have seen this earlier. Yes, FF7 uses tables rather than a PRNG as such. In fact, I think the tables are saved in the save files. If not, they're in kernel.bin.

I was kind of implying those maps that I drew could be used as a backdrop for that map drawing script. :p I don't know enough LUA to modify the script myself, though I imagine it's pretty trivial as long as the API can load external graphics and show them.
