Here's some maps to sort you out. They are adapted from the ones on gamefaqs so I can't guarantee accuracy.

That's fine with me, as long as each video adds something new and interesting. Which will probably disqualify them. Just saying "more videos that are worse may be submitted after this one" isn't much of an argument to not publish this one.

I'm not sure what's wrong with this run. The Player vs. CPU battles are marginally less entertaining but in my eyes this is definitely publishable as it had me giggling through most of it. A fighter with more moves available would make for a funnier TAS. I can't wait until Street Fighter III is available. The amount of expression the character's moves have is amazing. This could be exploited to make a very entertaining movie.

Bwahahahahaha! I was wondering how frantic a Dramatic Battle TAS could be, I guess I got an answer. I think supers are a little overused, but apart from that very cool stuff.

-talk about wanting to TAS on secret hidden channel -receive no reply -browse SDA and TASvideos forums for a while -check facebook -read some old Achewood strips -open VBA -watch old movie -close VBA Yeah, I find it hard to get stuff done. :)

This isn't really a new thing (at least where I live). All GCSEs and A-levels are taught to make you pass the exam, not to impart some knowledge to you. Hell, in most A-level courses, whenever you're doing any coursework, they usually give you the marking scheme, so if you don't get full marks it's because you're lazy. How's that for education.

Not particularly impressed by this. This run doesn't add anything not already present on the site in other Castlevania TASes.

I was about to suggest exactly what Baxter just said. This.

Oh, wow, I'd completely forgotten to post my WIP! Unfortunately it's kind of on a dead hard drive, I think. I'll see if I have any backups anywhere.

I have the time and webspace to implement the server side of this easily. Also, re: the UTF-8 thing, it's not too much of a problem if you use something like libiconv.

Um. Oh. I didn't even know a v0.0.9 was out. Also I'll check my settings. How are you doing this 'dual movie' for both, anyway? Does PCSX support background input?

I can't get it to sync with my Suikoden I or II. I tried using v0.0.6 and v0.0.7 -- on Suikoden II it doesn't walk out of the starting tent properly, though it navigates the menus.

I have! The game is quite robust, although with damage-to-save-time a lot of puzzles are at least partially skippable. I've tried doing damage boosts and such, I've never found a good place to do one. I haven't checked every single area though.

I did the first 4 or 5 worlds of this (actually I wrote a bot to do it) a while ago, unfortunately he used the (E) version so our times were somewhat difficult to compare.

I also mentioned SC2 when this was brought up on IRC, although in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek manner. I add another vote to this one.

I said 'someone', you presumptuous git. :) I know you're all sore because of that recent thing, but you probably shouldn't try to seek out situations in order to take offence, huh?

I wrote a small hacking-tool-style program that would monitor memory for DOS games and such and award achievements that way, once. It's not the most accurate thing in the world, but it works for a surprising amount of things. :)

It also has hilariously bad codec compression, but who cares about that, everyone has 8TB broadband these days

I started doing a TAS of Alundra just as a test, a while ago. There are lots of little tricks like the instant dash-direction-change etc. It could be very interesting indeed, though the game is pretty long.
