I'm having trouble getting the max coin concept to work. I'm using TAStudio to input frames. When it comes to copying and pasting, it doesn't give out the same results every time. I tried the remakes, same thing. NES: Does not have the left+right movement glitch despite being on primitive hardware. Refilling the P meter every time to fly can be such a pain. SNES: Prone to desync, has the left+right movement glitch, refilling the P meter is less problematic, better copying and pasting. GBA: Slim chance of desyncing due to better hardware, flight time resets (almost) every time you land, there are exploits that let you keep P speed, also has the left+right movement glitch. Wii: Virtual Console port of NES game, All-Stars port 3DS: Virtual Console port of NES game Wii U: Virtual Console port of NES and GBA games They all have slightly different refresh rates; NES > SNES > GBA > Wii I don't know why I can't get it to loop properly, considering there's a submitted (but rejected) TAS of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels in infinity.

He's obsessed with TASing bootleg games, this along with the soundtrack stolen from Vs. Lemmings.

This game also went under name of "Aladdin II" to differentiate from the other Aladdin bootleg game by Super Game and the crappy licensed port by Virgin Games.

We don't have very many PAL game TASes. PAL exclusives such as Asterix and Obelix, and PAL versions of Rygar and Blaster Master. PAL versions of games have bugfixes, version exclusive glitches, and 5/6 speed in cutscenes compared to NTSC. PAL Mega Drive has this speed issue throughout, while PAL TurboGrafX 16 does not. This is why we need TASes of PAL versions of games need to be published aside NTSC versions, but not obsolete them, like the aforementioned Blaster Master. We could have a high score challenge on both first and second quests. There is no score cap as it keeps going up indefinitely. The game can register a top score of up to 9,999,950. When the score reaches 10,000,000, it rolls back to 0. Sometimes the highest score on the leaderboard doesn't always reflect with the high score on display, just like on Donkey Kong.

3 stars is technically faster than 1 star. I wonder if you can clip behind the 1 star door? Maybe use Heaven's Portal?

We could do a "Max Possible Coins" TAS. Any: Carry a Koopa shell to the exit 1-1 There's a P switch in the only group of bricks. 1-2 There's a P switch next to the the only brick. 1-3 59 coins in coin heaven. 1-4 We can only get 45 coins out of 48 outside from NG+. 1-5 LOL 69 1-6 Flying is required 2-1 ? blocks, bricks, P switches and hidden P switch coins regenerate but not regular coins. 2-2 get all 31 coins 2-3 1 P switch, 1 chance. 2-4 Go counter-clockwise once to get all coins. 2-5 A brick needs to be broken to reach the P switch. 2-Pyramid Leaving coins uncollected from the same row of where you collected some of the coins will disappear when you re-enter the area where they're from. 3-2 1 P switch 3-3 Watch out for Boss Bass as you collect coins by using 2 P switches. 3-4 Hidden P switch coins 3-5 A frog suit is required to enter bonus area. 3-6 Autoscroller with 1 P Switch 3-7 1 P Switch, exit via coin heaven. 4-3 Secret area in level 4-4 Frog Suit required 4-5 Enter pipe, hit P switch, exit, get all P switch coins, rinse and repeat. 4-6 Fly to get all coins. 4-Fortress 2 Hit P switch, collect P switch coins, enter hidden door, exit, collect, re-enter, re-exit, collect, if P switch runs out, hit it again to collect more, but be sure to get all the bonus area coins, and defeat Boom-Boom before time runs out! 4-Airship collect all coins 5-1 Infinitely regenerating coins. 5-2 Use a P wing, take lower path for coins, fly back up to the upper path for extra coins, clip into the lower path area. 5-3 Get the shoe from the Shoe Goomba. 5-Fortress secret area 5-Tower get 44 coins from the multi-coin blocks. 5-9 has no coins, skip with a cloud. 6-4 has a religious reference (notice a cross formation using 6 bricks) 6-7 Requires fire, melt all ice blocks to get coins 6-Fortress 2 Skip with cloud. 6-8 Fly to get a bunch of coins. 6-9 Frog Suit required for bonus area. P switch and munchers regenerate. 6-10 Melt ice blocks covering coins, thaw out munchers over pipe. P switch turns all bricks and munchers into coins. Ignore the hammer suit until the last visit. 7-2 Can be possible without Frog Suit? 7-Fortress bottomless amounts of coins, bonus area must be visited 7-9 Get all the coins in the maze 8-1 Abracadabra! P switch coins galore! Unfortunately the leftmost column of coins can't be collected. Fixed in the GBA port. Note: You must get a coin ship and collect all its coins. The card game must also be played and completed every time. I recommend 2 players for the sake of the inventory. Deaths and backwarps are not allowed. Missing a regular coin is considered a failure.

There are even more patch codes here: 2 Player Vertical Split-Screen D00DC533 0001 800DC533 0002 There is no speed fix for 2 Player Vertical Split-Screen as D.K.'s Jungle Parkway runs at 20 fps on 2-3 Players and 15 fps on 4 Players without them Widescreen (1 Player) D00DC533 0000 81150148 3FDF Widescreen (2 Player Horizontal) D00DC533 0001 81150148 4060 Widescreen (2 Player Vertical) D00DC533 0002 81150148 3F5E This is my contribution for a 2 Player Vertical Widescreen hack off an existing code Widescreen (3-4 Players) D00DC533 0003 81150148 3FDF 300cc 810F6A10 45FF 810F77E8 45FF 810F85C0 45FF 810F9398 45FF 810FA170 45FF 810FAF48 45FF 810FBD20 45FF 810FCAF8 45FF This is my version of the 300cc Speed Cheat Make Player 1 a Computer D00F6990 00C0 800F6990 00D0 Make Player 2 a Computer D00F7768 00C0 800F7768 00D0 Make Player 3 a Computer D00F8540 00C0 800F8540 00D0 Make Player 4 a Computer D00F9318 00C0 800F9318 00D0 Always show Speedometer (1 Player) 801657E4 0000 801657E6 0001 You'll also see the Top 4, the Lap and Time. Combine with the Always Show Map and Always Show Distance, everything will overlap with each other. Always Show Map (1-4 Players) 801657E8 0001 81165800 0101 Always Show Distance (1-4 Players) 801657F0 0001 Always Show Lap Counter (4 Players) 801657F8 0001 Multiplayer Grand Prix 810E86AE 0202 This is rather glitchy. Just use the screen modifier and set Players 3 and 4 to computer and you're all set. This could mess up the end celebration, focusing on Player 2 instead of on the one with the most points, as you can get gold without ever knowing. The scoring matters, the trophy is awarded after triggering the cutscene, not after it. Grand Prix Engine Class (3 Players) 800E86B8 000? Grand Prix Engine Class (4 Players) 800E86BB 000? In-Game Engine Modifier 800DC54B 000? 0 = 50cc, 1 = 100cc, 2 = 150cc, 3 = Extra You can even use this for 150cc Time Trial. This doesn't work with Battle mode. Mirrored Courses 800DC604 0001 Allows for 150cc races on mirror courses as Extra uses 100cc speed. Also, the traffic in Toad's Turnpike don't go the opposite direction. Combine this with the code above it for 150cc Extra. I like to thank the people who made the codes to enhance the gameplay experience.

I was putting in cheat codes like I normally do. When I go to load them, some of them are gone. This is a problematic bug that needs to be fixed pronto. Put in code 1 without symbols in name, code 2 with many symbols in name, code 3 without symbols in name, save, re-open, is there a code or 2 missing? The Always Load Cheats is problematic. It sometimes deletes cheats and messes up the compare values.

The SM64 Shindou Edition can also be used for "BLJ-less". I advise against using the PAL version due to it being barely slower. The screen transitions and cutscenes are slower by 16.67% on PAL. Some (but not all) speed tweaks have to be applied for conversion. For example: Mario's normal running speed is about 32 units per frame in NTSC, it would've been tweaked to make him go approximately 38 units per frame in PAL. Maxed out coin record TASes can take a while. Do the cork box glitch in Bob-omb Battlefield, Whomp's Fortress and Shifting Sand Land, the moneybag glitch in Snowman's Land, the piranha plant glitch in Tiny-Huge island, and coin cloning in Dire Dire Docks, Wet-Dry World, Tall, Tall Mountain, Tick-Tock Clock, and Rainbow Ride. No infinite coin glitches exist in Jolly Roger Bay, Cool, Cool Mountain, Big Boo's Haunt, Hazy Maze Cave, and Lethal Land. You'll end up with the maxed out coin records and 16 stars. There are 18 coins in Bob-omb Battlefield that can only be gotten with the cannon. You need to complete Star 1 in Big Boo's Haunt to do Star 2, and 12 stars needed to enter. Route: SSL, LLL, HMC, BLJ to BitFS, DDD, WDW, THI, TTM, SL, BoB, CCM, JRB, WF, BBH, TTC, RR, BLJ to BitS. Can the "1 key" run be done in the US version?

Yeah. had Evan0512 voted yes, we could've still had 100% before kaan55 voted no. Also, yes vote. Can't wait for the trick in 1-2 being used in the GBA version

Seems to work fine in NESHawk in the Dev Build, so I must have fixed whatever was breaking it since 2.2.1 was released.
For TASing with BizHawk, we'll have to use 2.2.0 for the time being. Thanks for the heads up.

If you're TASing the Arcade mode with Penta Penguin use the JPN version or the EU version as on the NA version he feels incomplete. Especially the PENGUIN_YAY_1 and PENGUIN_YAY_2 uses the placeholder sounds in the NA version and his stats are maxed out in the PAL version. TASing Time Trial to unlock the scrap book in the main menu, you have to be all of Oxide's records. (which includes Turbo Track which is unlockable) Since we can't use any cheats (aside from unlocking Penta) We first need a 101% TAS on Adventure. The RTA record for 101% is close to 3 hours.

This is a new hack of Super Mario Bros. 3. This hack has 90 new amazing levels, 8 new breathtaking worlds. You also have a reserve box. Unfortunately, this hack does not run on BizHawk (both the NESHawk and QuickNES cores fail to load the hack). You have to use FCEUX. A TAS of this you should avoid autoscrolling levels as much as possible. Red dots are levels. Castles, quicksand, etc are levels. ? spaces are mushroom houses and spade minigames, but watch out. Some are hand traps. I suggest using the default difficulty level (Gamer) as the harder levels disable the reserve box. Especially the hardest level (Wow!) which plays like the Japanese Mario 3 (you revert to small Mario when you take damage). The hardest level is best suited for a small only run.

5.51 is impossible to achieve as Todd Rogers' record was delisted from Twin Galaxies and Guinness World Records. This declaration means that 5.57 is the fastest time possible. And no, 5.54 was Photoshopped and faked. Player 1 and Player 2 are updated alternately which technically makes the game run at 30 fps due to the VCS's limitations.

Set up for the minus world in different versions. All Night Nippon SMB: Get a 1-UP Mushroom, 22 coins in 1-1, 1-UP from flagpole, 78 coins in 1-2, Enter minus world, 6 lives, Collect every coin in every loop, respawn at checkpoint if reached, entering pipe cancels out checkpoint. VS SMB: Continue with 4 lives, Get a 1-UP Mushroom, 22 coins in 1-1, 78 coins in 1-2, Enter minus world, 7 lives, Collect every coin in every loop. SMB Second Quest: Get a 1-UP Mushroom, 1-UP from Buzzy Beetle, 22 coins in 1-1, Get another 1-UP Mushroom, 78 coins in 1-2, Enter minus world, 7 lives, Collect every coin in every loop, respawn at checkpoint if reached, entering pipe cancels out checkpoint. All Night Nippon SMB and VS SMB replaces 1-UP Mushroom in 1-2 with power up. VS SMB minus world is a looping water bonus area.

The Dynarec core for N64 is included in 32-bit versions but not in 64-bit versions? This could be the case in dropping Jabo's D3D8 Plugin support for 64-bit versions. Games like Pokemon Stadium needs to be run with the Dynarec core to emulate the Z80 inside the game.

I experimented and trained myself to get optimal times, and these are my results. A time of 20.1 on Sack Race. Double Foul on Boot Throwing. Times of 2.8 (game 1) and 2.2 (games 2 and 3) on Overboard. A time of 16.9 with 18 pizzas on Pile of Pizza. River Jump completed once for a bronze or 3 times for silver. Clear all bars on Pogo for gold. 10,000 for bronze, 12,000 for silver, 15,000 for gold. The maximum score possible is 18,300. Getting the max requires perfect throws on Boot Throwing, and trade 0.3 seconds for 2 pizzas for a time of 17.2 seconds with 20 pizzas. I'll get the runs submitted soon.

Watch the publication to the current movie. There is no point on encoding something that is pretty much exactly the same as it. That doubles for anyone wanting to provide an encode after Pikachu made that comment. Don't. There's no point.
So you're saying that they duplicated it? Talk about self plagiarism.
