I just finished watching my Littlest Pet Shop DVD collection. I'm hoping that the Best Pet Friends DVD won't be the last one, 'cause I don't wanna end my LPS DVD collection with "In The Loop" or I'll end up saying "Thanks, M. A. Larson". Anyway, back to ponies, I'm currently watching the Season 5 set then I'll be watching the Friendship Games, my binge watch continues into November. Too bad there isn't another Halloween-themed LPS DVD. Because if there was, it would have the episode "Littlest Pet Shop of Horrors". Season 7 concludes this weekend as it has Star Swirl the Bearded.

I'm taking a short break from the MLP archive binge. What a way to catch up! I'm focusing on Littlest Pet Shop for the entire week.

Haven't posted this in a while, but the Classic Tetris World Championship replica ROM found on RetroUSB (TetrisA11.nes). There are now 7 digits in the score counter instead of 8. Don't be discouraged, we'll still make a TAS that goes to 255,999,999. 3460 lines per lap, It'll take over 8000 lines to get there. Press player 1 start for prelims (start on any level) Press player 2 start for finals (always start on level 9) Also, starting next weekend is the 2018 Classic Tetris World Championship. Be sure to watch it on Twitch for live coverage.

The Attack Carrier opens its hatches faster on the Japanese version. The high score bug is fixed on 1.1. To obtain a score of 512 or higher in a level in 1.0, you have to get at least 768 in a level as it subtracts by 256 if it reaches 512 or more. The highest save-able score in a level is 743, while 1.1 you can only get 511. The lives cap off at 64, score caps of at 999 (511 in 1.1). The max possible total score is 6,993 (5,201 save-able), 3,577 in 1.1. I remember using a GameShark and used the Loads O' Hits code, the score counter gets wacky once it tries to render a score of 1,023 as it's a 16 bit integer and the code uses the lower 8 bits. After letting Spyborg hit Slippy, the score for Sector X is 1,023 which was 24 over the max. It's possible to get 999 on Solar (where 100 is needed for a medal).

Super Tetris 3 is another installment of Tetris by Bullet-Proof Software. There are three game modes. Tetris - The one we all know and love. Magicaliss - Puts in a new twist by cycling through colors as you rotate pieces. Sparkliss - Takes the concept of Bombliss by putting a new twist. Endless keeps on going until you top out. Standard is a line clear game with 10 stages in each of 6 rounds. Contest is where you try to clear the board on Sparkliss. Puzzle is where you try to solve all 100 Sparkliss puzzle. The game supports up to 4 players by going to Familiss. Familiss is where 4 players compete to be the last one standing. The boards are 7 blocks wide to compensate with the 256x240 screen. The best way to TAS this is on level S9. Unfortunately it needs to be unlocked by clearing 390 lines. I'll probably make a verification movie.

Putting in Gameboy Game Genie codes in the Cheat Code Converter erroneously displays All GameShark Codes must be Eight characters in length. Also, it compares a 2-byte value in System Bus when it supposed to compare a 1-byte value in the ROM. Game Gear Game Genie codes don't work as it says All Master System Action Replay Codes need to be nine characters in length. Genesis Game Genie codes probably don't work. I tried Sonic the Hedgehog 2, tried both versions of the 99 lives code, but they don't do anything. For SNES Game Genie codes, they're not supported yet and I may discuss it in another topic.

DOTA_Teabag did an upwarp in TTC and Pannenkoek2012 has issued a $1,000 bounty for anyone who can exploit this glitch. It has to be done in Mupen 64.

1.1 has an oversight in the music. Other than 1.1: In Hyrule Field, Lake Hylia, Zora's River, and Death Mountain Trail, pieces of music for when an enemy is nearby plays when near one in the daytime. When you're still fighting an enemy when the music fades out, the enemy near music won't play until you hear a wolf howl. It will play when encountering another enemy, even before the wolf howl. If you encounter an enemy during sunrise, the enemy near music gets interrupted. These don't apply in Gerudo's Valley and Desert Colossus. In 1.1: In Hyrule Field, Lake Hylia, Zora's River, and Death Mountain Trail, the enemy near music overlaps the fade-out. It also plays whenever you die when it's daytime in said areas. It plays when fighting Gohma's minions, after you deliver the first blow to an Iron Knuckle before Twinrova, and inside Ganon's Castle. Any version: Entering the raining area in Lake Hylia and leaving it before completing the Water Temple causes the music to reset when entering Hyrule Field. Also, the warp in sound doesn't play whenever you warp to Lake Hylia during the day after completing the Water Temple. After learning the Nocturne of Shadow and before completing the Shadow Temple, Go west past the welcome sign in Kakariko Village until the rain stops. Then go the rain trigger, then quickly exit to Hyrule Field and you'll see strange fog. The music will play even at night. To fix this, play the Song of Storms or any warp song. Try encountering an enemy at night in the strange fog in 1.1.

It is a crappy video and I had Microsoft Mike voice it and using captions. The game is not as bad as they think it is. You see, I'm on a trach, with my C-Pap configured as a Bi-Pap. I'll use my speaking valve whenever I need it. I thought I still remember how to use it from the bottom of my heart, but now I don't because of the heavy drugs I took when I was in the hospital.

This route is amazing so far, what do you expect to do after Tricky 2? I'm curious where you go from there
About the same as the Any% route. There is another method to enter Dragon Forest, by clipping out of bounds. It's necessary in the US 1.1 version, but not in the Japanese version as it can be done via wrong warp. I have a bit of trouble getting to Wizpig early...

Adventure Low%: 4 T.T. Stomps, entering Dino Domain the same way as entering Wizpig 1, Trick enter Sherbet Island. Dino Domain's fastest route for low%: T.T. Stomp to Tricky 1 > T.T. Stomp to Hot Top Volcano > Ancient Lake > Fossil Canyon > Jungle Falls > Tricky 2

It's possible to beat the game with as few as 8 Balloons. The lobby in Sherbet Island is the hardest to T.T. Stomp to an area. The Japanese version saves an OB glitch. OB glitch to Wizpig 1, OB glitch to Dino Domain, T.T. Stomp to Tricky. T.T. Stomp to any other course once. Collect the 8 balloons, Ignore the Taj Challenge, win all trophies, T.T. Stomp to Wizpig 2, the end. It can also be done with 11 or 16 balloons depending on the version with less glitches. Maybe 10 balloons. Multiplayer usually desyncs here and there. Getting the keys from Snowball Valley, Crescent Island, and Boulder Canyon in 2-player mode is faster than in 1-player mode. Fire Mountain 2 players 1 nest. Icicle Pyramid and Darkwater beach defeat CPUs then each other. Smokey Castle P1 steal P2's bananas to finish quicker. Trophy Race try to finish close together. Waiting for last CPU to finish takes too long. Adventure Any%, Adventure 100%, Adventure 2 100%, and Time Trial All Vehicles are the goal choices. The former two are top priority. 1-player TAS is more important than 2-player TAS. Ultimate AI hardly makes a difference outside casual play. I'll do a few experiments, then I go for the jugular. Record times are posted on dkr64.com As a side note, Whale Bay and Pirate Lagoon record times were done on the PAL version while TAS is done on NTSC-J. Jackster's save is compatible with BizHawk without hex-editing. It works with any version of the game. For example: rename the save file as Diddy Kong Racing (Japan).SaveRAM The save created by the verification movie works with any version too. I'll do my best.

Next up is the King League. Then we'll do all three on Master. Don't forget BS F-Zero 2's Ace League.

The main priority is to make a new TAS because the old one is overdue and sub-optimal compared to the current 100% WR.

It was a TAS demo. I could do a 3-player TAS demo of Fire Mountain with Ultimate AI enabled. On second thought, a 3-player TAS demo of Fire Mountain with Ultimate AI enabled doesn't affect it very much... Another thing about Tracks mode, is that the AI characters are chosen at random. 1 player mode has 7 AI characters chosen at random. 2 player mode has 4 AI characters chosen at random. 3 player mode has 1 AI character for the battle courses chosen at random. Racers 5 through 8 are not used for battle courses. That means you're guaranteed 3 points for the final race if you did the glitch in Hot Top Volcano. If you're playing Adventure mode and did the glitch in Hot Top Volcano, winning or losing against Taj, an area guardian, or Wizpig doesn't count as a completed race in the trophy race. If you hit quit trophy race during a race against an area guardian or Wizpig, you'll be sent back to that areas lobby (or the hub world in the case of Wizpig 1). I'm curious what happens if you hit quit trophy race in the hub world or in an area lobby. Naturally, if you choose that option in Tracks mode, it just goes to the track selection screen.

I don't have the experience, but how far as the emulator developed, it's getting there. We could test it in an interim build of BizHawk.

Nintendo of America said they would allow fans to use their IP in things like fan art, fan fiction, and parodies, but they never said a thing about ROM hacks. Nintendo Australia has tough standards when it comes to fair use. If a cease and desist letter was sent by Nintendo Co.,Ltd., it would somewhat likely be in Japanese. If it was from Nintendo of Europe, it'll be multilingual. It was just a big middle finger pointed to the TPP community who were waiting for their best Christmas present only to get stabbed in the back by the big N. How naughty! We'll never find out if those mysterious eggs can be used. There's always another way. Use a GameShark.
