okey-dokey-lokey. We'll use the no music patch on hacks that crash on BizHawk. Discussion over.

There is one big thing that's been going on in my mind is the MSU-1 digital media interface. It allows CD quality audio and full motion video to be played on SNES hardware. With the rise of MSU-1 hacks, it would be a great idea to implement such feature. There's another thing that's swimming in my head, the Super Game Boy 2. What is it? It's a Super Game Boy that has a link function. I know of one game that has an alternate border when plugged into the Super Game Boy 2, and that game is Tetris DX. And one game with similar way; Pokemon Trading Card Game. But it's more of a step down. As you can see, Pokemon Trading Card game does have 2 SGB borders, the latter shows what club medals you have. But plugging it into the Super Game Boy 2, it only shows the former. If we use the SGB2 in BizHawk for link play, it will require more processing power than what is used now. This feature will not be used in 32-bit versions of Windows, and Mac users may have to upgrade to the latest version for the MacOS X builds that uses said feature.

SNES9x 1.51 doesn't have a built-in TAS editor like in BizHawk and FCEUX. The SFX in some hacks like Second Reality Project stops the music and will freeze the game on accurate emulators and on consoles. Newer SMW hacks would resort to using CD quality music by means of the MSU-1 enhancement.

Some SMW hacks crash on SNES9x 1.52+ and BizHawk 2.0 has SNES9x 1.54 was integrated. There's nothing we can do with fixing the sound. This is why SNES9x 1.51 should've got ported for the sake of custom music in old SMW hacks.

If using Gold Version, you'll need to get TM46 (Thief), give it to a Pokemon, but don't use it. Then you have to clone the Pokemon holding same TM. Then teach the move to two of a Pokemon of your choice, but they need to be opposite genders. After doing that you'll have an Ariados (its Pokedex entry won't update), which you need to get a Spinarak, then evolve it into Ariados. If using Silver Version, You'll have to catch two Level 20 Smeargle, one male, one female. Use Sketch in battle, level up to 21, use Sketch again, level up to Level 31. Do the Celebi Egg trick (works with any Pokemon) You'll get a Ledian (its Pokedex entry won't update), which you need to breed to get a Ledyba, then evolve it into Ledian. Another way is with the Japanese Red and Green with the select bug. The best way is with Crystal and Red/Blue. Using ACE to get All the Pokemon in Gen I, 39 different kinds of MissingNo., and 60 other glitched Pokemon and nicknaming them accordingly. The only Pokemon you can't get with the Time Capsule Exploit is Celebi. After doing the Celebi Egg trick, we get a Celebi holding a GS Ball so we can catch Celebi so we can complete the Pokedex.

Dual Game Boy mode is broken on BizHawk 2.0. It won't run when it's supposed to.

After doing more research, Pocket Monsters Pikachu 1.0 has this problem, but its revisions (1.1 to 1.3) don't.

I forgot about that new feature. I see the same behavior now. It doesn't happen on every game, but those pokeymans seem to be affected. I wonder if Aloysha knows what's up...
Pocket Monsters Pikachu and Pokemon Red Blue and Yellow are the only ones unaffected.

I can't reproduce this. Are you sure you didn't screw up your controller bindings or something? Lua script leaving inputs on?

I was playing Pokemon Red on SGB mode, I made a few savestates, later I saved the game, closed the emulator, open it back up, rebooted it, and it loaded my last savestate instead of the saveRAM. It happened on BizHawk 2.0. Why did this happen to me? This had never happened to me before. Did you ever experience this problem? There isn't an option to turn it off. It's probably an emulation bug.

Game Genie codes can be converted to Pro Action Replay codes (or GameShark codes for Game Boy) should be easy. The Code conversions on FCEUX can't be more simpler.

On BizHawk, If you get an error message that reads "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" check your antivirus and add BizHawk 2.0 to the exclusions/exceptions/whitelist and the game mode.

Press Your Luck In the 1st round I get 12 spins, both CPUs get 4 spins each. Both CPUs get 4 Whammies, putting them out of the game. I go for $1,500 in 10 spins, Add a one for a one round total of $115,000, then instead of taking the final spin of the round, I freeze. Then I only get 3 spins for round 2, landing on $5,000 + one spin every time for 77 spins, then Double your $$ + one spin, for a grand total of $1,000,000.

But we'll never know. If someone is going to do a "No Secret Exit Warpless" run, there will be exceptions to the "No Secret Exit" rule which are Forest of Illusion 3 and Chocolate Island 3. The most exits we can get this way is 44. Maybe you can do ACE in a 96 exit run to break the game even further.

It is not an emulator related error, but a disk read error within the emulated system.

The Game Gear and Model 2 Genesis/Mega Drive have a BIOS file in the form of a Trade Mark Security System. The latest Master System BIOS includes Sonic the Hedgehog built in. The Japanese equivalent the Sega Mk III also has a BIOS built in.

It was probably an obscure game and I was having a read error. It is a 2-disk game I think.

The route of Yoshi's Island 2 > Yoshi's Island 3 > Yoshi's Island 4 > #1 Iggy's Castle > Donut Plains 1 > Donut Plains 2 or Donut Secret 1 > Donut Ghost House > Donut Plains 3 > Donut Plains 4 > #2 Morton's Castle > Vanilla Dome 1 > Vanilla Secret 1 > Star World 2 > Star World 3 > Star World 4 > Front Door This 15 exit is arbitrary and sub-optimal compared to the 11-exit run. The P-Balloon can still be used in a small only run. Maybe if we have Yoshi eat a Chuck to get a goal orb in order to get 90+ exits (including the ? block glitch in the Top Secret Area)

For the last time, I want to see a TAS of this game in getting all the dragon coins, not some TAS with an arbitrary goal.
