When I was play testing the hack in Battle Now it worked fine, but Gym Leader Castle, it gave me trouble because the CPU picked a blank Pokemon which crashed the game. It reminds me of when I used a GameShark, after the final battle, the game soft-locked because of a cheat.

I think the Game Boy Saves within the Transfer Paks share the same offset as the Controller Paks. Anyway, I'm making a hack of this game. I already done the Battle Now, Gym Leader Castle, and Vs. Mewtwo. It would follow the story of TRAINER, who is going to the top. Defeating every Gym Leader, every Elite Four member, and become the Champion. A new challenger awaits, but to get to the rest of the story, you have to beat the Stadium mode in which bends the rules, twists the challenge, raises the difficulty. and the finalists have level 100 Pokemon in stadiums where it's not allowed. There's also Rental Pokemon that don't follow the rules including Level 2 Pokemon that's necessary for level 46, 76, and 100 "Ultimate" Pokemon on Pika Cup, Petit Cup, and Poke Cup respectively. One question, Why can't I set a Pokemon that's not in the medium-slow experience category to level 1 when I can use a level 1 Pokemon from a Game Boy Game? Uploading a level 1 Pokemon that's in the medium-slow experience category to Pokemon Stadium jumps to level 100, and uploading any level 1 Pokemon to Pokemon Stadium 2 to level 2. Other aesthetic changes include modifications to Pokemon stats. If the Special Attack is greater than the Special Defense, then the Special Attack becomes the Special, making it stronger defensively. Likewise if the Special Defense is greater than the Special Attack, then the Special Defense becomes the Special, making it stronger offensively. Also updated the attacks (Power, Accuracy, PP). Only thing not edited are the effects. See I don't own Pokemon Sun or Moon. I'm gonna have to do a lot of research.

Pokemon Stadium 2 can be a bit unstable when TASing. Use the DynaRec core type so the game won't crash at a Pokemon's cry.

Even Family Feud on the NES you have to put in 3, 4, or 5 characters or at least half the answer. And Classic Concentration to a lesser extent.

All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. also requires getting 8 stars to access the extra worlds. That and VS. Super Mario Bros. replace 6 of the original 32 levels. All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. had B-1 changed to 5-1 from Lost Levels and C-4 is replaced with 7-4 of Lost Levels. All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros. is easier than VS. Super Mario Bros. aside from 5-3 and 6-4 because they are 4-3 and 4-4 of the respective Lost Levels levels. The New Strange Mario Bros. has 37 levels, but the last level crashes at the end. 1-Square or 37 modulo 4. Getting an axe an any level ends the world. I wonder what would happen if you used the bootleg cart with Tennis? Nothing as there is no continue code. Even swapping disks will cause read errors. Imagine using a Game Boy Advance and if you had an e-Reader+ with Tennis loaded on it and swapped it with Famicom Mini Super Mario Bros. 2. They brought back the continue code. The cartridge swapping technique won't work on the Game Boy Player. That means you have to use a camera to record the footage of World E. No pun intended. After grabbing an axe in worlds E or later, the game ends. I'm not sure if this technique would work. On Famicom Mini Super Mario Bros. 2., B+Start is used for the extra worlds.

We could do a fangame compare like a parody of FreeXax Game Compare series. Examples: Mega Pony vs Dr. Discord's Conquest Equestria Bound vs Pony Fantasy 6 Elements of Harmony RPG vs Super Lesbian Horse RPG Canterlot Siege vs Canterlot Defender Sweet Apple Massacre vs Story of the Blanks Pony Poki Panic vs Sonic 3 & Rainbow Dash

First 128KB is for Controller Pak data, Second 128KB is for internal saves.
Hexdecimal
00000-007FF EEPROM
00800-087FF Controller Pak 1
08800-107FF Controller Pak 2
10800-187FF Controller Pak 3
18800-207FF Controller Pak 4
20800-407FF Flash
40800-487FF SRAM
EEPROM saves can be read by changing .EEP to .SAVERAM. Controller Paks, Flash saves, and SRAM must be hex edited accordingly.

Translhextion will be used to combine two 32KB saves to make a 64KB save. 0000-7FFF for Left Gameboy and 8000-FFFF for Right Gameboy. The 64KB save can be split to two 32KB saves by using Translhextion as well. 128KB N64 saves don't work with BizHawk. They must be copy-pasted to a 290KB save by using Translhextion at offset x20800. Using 128KB saves in BizHawk shows corrupted Controller Pak data. 128KB reserved for Controller Paks, 128KB reserved for internal save, then the extra 34KB is used for what?

Sometimes button presses get removed in N64 TASes. I think checking for memory leaks is a good idea. I'm not sure when version 1.12 gets released. Sometimes whenever you record from SaveRAM then open TAStudio, an error box appears. Press continue then close and reopen TAStudio and open the recently created tasproj file. While doing this, if you go to frame 0, the SaveRAM data will be lost which will cause a desync.

You can use vsync throttle which helps some. Super Game Boy slows down drastically which is why a high end processor is feasible.

The Compatibility Core is the default core. Using the Performance Core might help a little. It will be a good idea to check the specs of your computer. The higher the processing power and more RAM, the better.

In Star Road, I wonder if we can glitch to the top of the tower at the beginning of the game?

I wonder if we can integrate the nrage plugin into BizHawk... I made a Pika Cup TAS using only a Level 20 Starmie. I'll do a TAS where I battle Mewtwo using only Venusaur. I'm trying to make a TAS that replicates a battle on Game Grumps. I use PKX Delta, Project 64, and Translhextion to make most of these matches.

Case in point. This video I made on SMBDX discusses this too. Link to video

I would like to see an episode focusing on Princess Celestia. Possible connection to Guardians of Harmony where she dreams about fighting Nightmare Moon.

The max filesize for N64 saves is 128 KB, not 290 KB. It needs to be fixed or we'll be stuck with resorting to hexediting. Offset of copying Flash saves to SaveRAM in hexdecimal is 20800.

The six eggs planned for Prism are more mysterious than ever. We need a Pokemon Stadium 2 hack that allows you to transfer the eggs. Think Stop 'n' Swop on Banjo-Tooie.

I meant the end credits shouldn't be used in YouTube encode.

If we were to TAS this, do not include the end credits in any of the encodes and do NOT upload them to YouTube.

In 1.11.9.1 TAStudio has a bug that removes input when Recording Mode is OFF. It's supposed to only happen when it's set to ON. Even worse, it removes recent input before the current frame. EDIT: It was because I had rewind settings turned on. Silly me.

The Netflix version of Where the Apple Lies, every instance of cider was replaced with juice. This was probably due to the episode not being aired in the UK. As cider being an alcoholic beverage in the UK.

My computer has a USB 3.0 port, but it doesn't work. Maybe it's because of a wiring fault. Anyway, my computer soft-locked, I reset it, and my files came back. If I experience another trouble like this, I'll tell you.

My dad isn't having trouble with his WD hard drive and that goes to his Mac. How can I record my game footage on a faulty drive? If I used only the main internal drive, I'll run out of room. What is the best file recovery software?
