Okay. Whenever I boot up Pokemon Darkness, there's no music. It's like the sound glitch on Second Reality Project Reloaded minus the crash. No matter what emulator or console you play it on, it always happens. Myth says it was because of Super Mario Maker. Fact says it's because hacks are becoming repetitive.

Frog suit in all levels requires playing from a saved game. Make a verification movie by warping to world 3 and getting the frog suit from the mushroom house and saving.

Says who?
There is a crash bug related to a sound from a certain enemy.

You could shoot the tornadoes to change their direction. We wouldn't have known if it wasn't for this.

I wonder if you select restart race right after crossing the finish line in Star City so you begin the Silver Coin Challenge on that race without needing the T.T. Stomp or getting 46 balloons to enter. The glitch in Hot Top Volcano is useful for trophy race. I'm not sure doing that glitch to get to Jungle Falls during the Trophy Race is faster, I'm unsure. 100% route: Balloon near Snowflake Mountain, Balloon near Sherbet Island, Wizpig, reset, enter code JOINTVENTURE for 2 players, Balloon near Dino Domain, Key in Ancient Lake, Tricky, Fire Mountain, Trophy Race, Trophy Race for Glitch, Taj, Snowball Valley for Trophy, Key in Snowball Valley, Bluey, Icicle Pyramid, Taj, Trophy Race for Glitch, Taj, Balloon near Dragon Forest, Whale Bay for Trophy, Key in Crescent Island, Bubbler, Darkwater Beach, Trophy Race for Glitch, Haunted Woods for Trophy, Key in Boulder Canyon, Smokey, Smokey Castle, Trophy Race for Glitch, Spacedust Alley for Trophy, Wizipg, ending. Unlocking Drumstick and T.T. are not necessary for 100% completion, but to race as them, play from predefined save.

I don't know why you can't manipulate the starting direction of the tornado on Easy 2 while you can on Normal 1. I need help in getting 1030 in round 1 of Easy 2 and 1260 in round 1 of Normal 1.

The Japanese version you can skip the title screen from startup, but the dialog text is slower. Those will all be discounted.

Selecting Lost Levels and Mario 2 on the one with Super Mario World is slightly faster than without it and also discounted, but the one with Super Mario World was not released in Japan however.

We could do a 3D Zelda Quad Run that consists of Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess. If we use the GameCube, Ocarina of Time will be the one alongside Master Quest, and Majora's Mask will be from the Collector's Edition. If we use the Wii, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask will be from the Virtual Console, and in place of Wind Waker is Skyward Sword. If we use the Wii U, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask will be from the Virtual Console, and Wind Waker HD, and Twilight Princess HD will be used.

Title sequences and dialogue text between versions is discounted. Japanese vs North American Likewise current Mega Man II publication used the Japanese version. Super Mario 64 has slower text scrolling in Japanese. Heck, even Monopoly on NES has a slight delay for buying properties in Japanese version. NTSC vs PAL 60fps vs 50fps It's all about run time.

Well that's unfortunate. First it was in the middle of being published until the aforementioned video was posted. Secondly I am familiar with the 256 frame rule, Red Birdo and Green Birdo is 64, 64, 128. They fixed the subspace item glitch which allows you to pick up items right when you exit subspace. But you can still bring the key with you through doors, even on GBA.

I have talked about the 2 NES versions of Rampart, let's talk about the 2 Game Boy versions released years apart. Like the NES versions, they were released by different companies. Jaleco released two versions of the game, one on NES and the other on Game Boy. Separate versions on said platforms were released by Konami and Midway respectively. First, the Game Boy version by Jaleco was released in 1992. One year after the NES versions. There are a few added bonuses, like being able to choose your character, each having different stats. And instead of ships, You fight enemy soldiers and turrets. And there and features "borrowed" from the NES Konami version, like a timer over your home castle, and also treasure chests. Unlike the NES Konami version, one level has a treasure chest where surrounding it completes the level, these are worth bonus points. They're usually found near bushes. Also, some levels have an extra cannon inside. The Japanese version has Anime-style visuals, while the West has traditional medieval visuals. And there's a 2 player version. Sometimes in the repair phase, both players' clocks don't sync with each other. That's why there's a "Please Wait" screen after placing cannons. Also, let's don't forget the other Game Boy version by Midway, and it's in color. This version is a direct port of the arcade, but the sprites are microscopic. You begin by selecting your color. Then you choose your starting stage. This version has music, sounds, and voices taken from the source at a lower quality. It's amazing that these use up an entire sound channel. Which brings the capacity of this version to 1 megabyte, eight times more than the Jaleco version. Also, there is a way to beat the Midway version by doing absolutely nothing. The way it works is by setting the rank for blue or red to 3 or 4 and difficulty to easiest, then select either Red Game or Blue Game of what you set the rank, then pick "Veteran - Advanced level (+5000 bonus points)" and just let the game run on its own. It'll say "Red Army Conquers" or "Blue Army Conquers" for whatever color you picked. Link to video

We could do a 2-player TAS using the Cable Club Escape Glitch.

I'm using BizHawk, but TAStudio fails to load the movies using the NESHawk core. I'm using the QuickNES core, and oh, it's possible to get 950 points after the second battle on easy stage 1. Here's evidence: Link to video Easy stage 2 and normal stage 1 are examples with tornadoes. The paths of the tornadoes can be manipulated. The highest field score possible is 1,232 points. In normal stage 1, have the tornadoes clear out the outermost houses on the west, north, and east sides so that you'll get 1,260 points and you're 40 away from the goal. There are a few stages that the goal is impossible to reach, so that you have to destroy all enemies. There are a few quirks in the hard mode like enemy reinforcements, bonuses, penalties, and time deductions. For hard stage 1, pick the upper castle. The final stage on hard can be beaten by destroying all enemies before they get reinforcements and before getting to the temple. One stage is split in two. Scoring: 2 points per field tile (trees/houses/columns included) 5 points per army personnel/mouse/spider/undead unit/asigaru 20 points per tank/wolf/live tree/dragon/zombie/samurai The more points, the better. In 2 player, if both players reach their goal at the same time, it's a draw.

One round of slots to $100,000 is nearly impossible. It'll take a miracle to get 7-7-7 in one spin with 1 or 2 tokens. Getting to $10,000,000 in slots takes a longer time than blackjack. It involves much greater luck manipulation to pull it off. Craps is the fastest way to $10,000,000. Roulette is the second fastest, Poker is the third fastest.
