Doing the puzzle mode will be a separate category. (the puzzles are the same as in the quest mode of Puyo Puyo / Puzlow Kids)

The current publication doesn't use the warp glitch in level 6. We need a new TAS that uses said glitch.

TAS time starts at power on, RTA time starts when 1-1 has finished loading. Should we allow the use of the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 multicarts if there's no difference in the timing? 2-in-1 refers to Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (included in the Action Set) USA 3-in-1 refers to Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet (included in the Power Set) PAL 3-in-1 refers to Super Mario Bros./Tetris/Nintendo World Cup We need to find some way to improve 8-1 and 8-2 but how?

Pressing A and B together at the same time is very difficult to do by humans.

2.4 is now prone to desyncs. Why can't you keep things desync proof?

Puyo Puyo Sun 64 doesn't create its saveram file correctly. All the high score tables read 0 score, 0 max rensa, stage/level 1. Erasing all data fixes it. Which means TASes of the game must start from reset for now until this gaffe gets fixed.

The Japanese version is more faithful than the USA and PAL versions in which the latter two suffered from censorship and had a bug related to the time bonus upon the end of the level. The Mega Drive port had some levels condensed and has several levels taken from Oh No! More Lemmings and has a left screen clip like if were a Master System game. Speaking of, the Master System and Game Gear versions condensed some levels to fit the Game Gear's low resolution which makes Fun 16 harder due to the screen crunch as you can't move the screen vertically. Also they have exclusive SEGA levels. The DOS version uses only MIDI music and sounds but lacks WAV sounds and voices. The SNES version is by far hands down the best port of Lemmings.

Does the Turbo Tunnel skip glitch work in the Japanese version? Also, the PAL version runs at roughly 5/6 the speed of NTSC.

The Gran Turismo series needs no introduction. If you're not using a disk bundler, you have to rename the saveram files accordingly. If using ePSXe instead, this procedure is unnecessary. If you're only TASing Gran Turismo 1, the disk bundler is not necessary. If you're only TASing Gran Turismo 2's Simulation Mode, the disk bundler is not necessary. If you're TASing both modes of Gran Turismo 2, use the disk bundler. If you're TASing both Gran Turismo 1 and 2, use the disk bundler. Having the ISO of Gran Turismo 1 and both ISOs of Gran Turismo 2, the order of full completion as follows: - Gran Turismo 1 Simulation Mode: Get all gold on all license tests, win 1st place in all races. - Gran Turismo 1 Arcade Mode: Win 1st place in all races on difficult, save to memory card after full completion. - Gran Turismo 2 Simulation Mode: Data transfer, Get all gold on all license tests, win 1st place in all races including random dealership races, save to memory card after full mode completion. - Gran Turismo 2 Arcade Mode: Win 1st place in all races on difficult including reverse courses, run ends at start of arcade end credits.

Super Mario Star Road Infinite Coin Glitches: Course 1 - Bob-Omb Islands - Coin Clones - Can get 255 coins Course 4 - Chuckya Harbor - Cork Box - Can get 999 coins Course 6 - Colorful Coral Caverns - 1 Coin Clone - Can get at least 114 coins We cannot clone coins by using the Hat In Hand glitch. If we clone a coin from the Crazy Box as it gives us 4 coins less than theoretically possible in any course. Course 10 - Melting Snow Peaks - Moneybag Duplication - Can get 999 coins Course 14 - Bob-Omb Battle Factory - Cork Box - Can get 999 coins Course 15 - Starlight Runway - Coin Clones - Can get 255 coins Courses without Infinite Coin Glitches are bound to the theoretically possible maximum coins. For the Coinless Challenge, it's possible to beat the game without touching a coin. This removes the Hidden Palace Finale, the Replica Stars, the Red Coin Stars, and the 100 Coin Stars. Star 6 in Gloomy Garden can't be selected thus can't be collected. Star 6 in Bob-Omb Battle Factory can't be selected thus can't be collected. Which leaves us with 84 stars at the end. The CCC Challenge removes the MIPS star from the equation leaving us with 83 stars. If we do a glitch-less CCC, sadly we'll be 1 star short before getting to Bowser.

We could make TAS demos with the CPU items patch which allows the CPUs to use shells, banana bunches, and triple mushrooms. They can even get golden mushrooms in 1st place. This patch is for those that think the game is too easy and want a challenge..

I would like to see a TAS of getting 100 coins in areas where it seems impossible outside of cloning and cork box glitches, and make use of the day/night cycle.

ZSNES goes too fast and the visuals are buggy especially on Battle Trax - not recommended The bsnes core in BizHawk and lsnes is too slow without overclocking which may make the game unbeatable. SNES9x 1.54 might be more accurate speed-wise but some menus have graphics glitches. We should do TAS tests with SNES9x 1.54, lsnes (with and without overclocking), and BizHawk with both the bsnes and SNES9x cores.

Since we have TASes of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Street Fighter II': Champion Edition, Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo. There needs to be TASes of Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition.

This trick will NOT work on the Japanese N64 and Japanese Virtual Console versions. It hasn't been tested on the Japanese GameCube version, I doubt it'll work on the 3DS version due to better hardware.

I enabled memory cards A and B. I set them to C:\Users\...\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\GC\USA\SLOT A.raw and C:\Users\...\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\GC\USA\SLOT B.raw respectively. I start to play the game, but the memory cards are not being read. It said they need to be set to C:\Users\...\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\GC\USA\SLOT A USA.raw and C:\Users\...\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\GC\USA\SLOT B USA.raw respectively. I set the memory card directories to what it said. I start to play the game and voila! It worked. I created memory card data for the games with no problems. When I go to save my data and the game said that the data is saved. But when I go to end emulation, it said it failed to write the data. When I tried to load the data, it was gone. I was like "What is this? the CD-i?" This was on build 5.0.11077.

I tried to encode a GBA TAS with the HQ2X filter in 360p (480x320) at 2x window size, but it ended up encoding in 144p (240x160) at 1x. I wonder if it can encode with a screen filter as most encodes made here look more jagged in 360p or higher than in their native resolution. HQ4XS works perfectly for 1080p. BRZ6x works great in 1440p. Native resolutions and filters for upscaling: Atari 2600 - Native 240p (320x192), HQ2X for 360p (640x384), HQ3XS for 576p and 720p (960x576), HQ4XS for 900p (1280x768), BRZ5X for 1080p (1600x960), 7x filter for 1440p (2240x1344), 12x filter for 4K (3600x2160) Atari 5200 - Atari 7800 - Atari Lynx - Atari Jaguar - Native 240p (320x240) - HQ2X for 480p (640x480) HQ3XS for 720p (960x720), HQ4XS for 1080p (1280x960) BRZ6X for 1440p (1920x1440), 9x filter for 4K (2880x2160) NES - Native 240p (256x240) - HQ2X for 480p (512x480), HQ3XS for 720p (768x720), HQ4XS for 1080p (1024x960), BRZ6X for 1440p (1536x1440), 9x filter for 4K (2304x2160) Game Boy - Native 144p (160x144) - HQ2X for 360p (320x288) HQ3XS for 480p (480x432), HQ4XS for 576p (640x576), BRZ5X for 720p (800x720), BRZ6X for 900p (960x864), 7x filter for 1080p (1120x1008), 10x filter for 1440p (1600x1440), 15x filter for 4K (2400x2160) 2 Game Boys - Native 240p (320x144) - HQ2X for 480p (640x288), HQ4XS for 720p (1280x576), BRZ5X for 900p (1600x720), BRZ6X for 1080p (1920x864), 8x filter for 1440p (2560x1152), 12x filter for 4K (3840x1728) 3-4 Game Boys - Native 360p (320x288) - HQ2X for 576p and 720p (640x576), HQ3XS for 900p (960x864), HQ4XS for 1080p (1280x1152), BRZ5X for 1440p (1600x1440), 8x filter for 4K (2400x2160) SNES Pseudo H512 - Native 240p (256x224) - HQ2X for 480p (512x448), HQ3XS for 720p (768x672), HQ4XS for 900p and 1080p (1024x896), BRZ6X for 1440p (1536x1344), 9x filter for 4K (2304x2116) SNES True H512 - Native 480i (512x448) - HQ2X for 900p and 1080p (1024x896), HQ3XS for 1440p (1536x1344), BRZ5X for 4K (2468x2160) Virtual Boy - ?
