the idea was to go to spirit temple as adult with lots of superslides, what is actually the thing, that seems to make it quicker requiem of spirit would be skipped completely boths routes are very close, but in the end, it turned out to be best to do deku tree as adult, go to spirit temple as child and get bombchus, do DC and jabu then and get adult

here's the quickest strategy for the deku tree: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eOXHwQrMnU&feature=channel_page slingshot could have been skipped of course, but this was actually the deku tree section of my all temples TAS and in the old route, I got the slingshot to be able to skip the zelda's lullaby cutscene afterwards, because we wanted to get bombchus from the bottom of the well instead of spirit temple. this requieres zelda's lullaby to lower the water level in the bottom of the well

you should really work with frame advance your goal is to do everything as quickly as possible, so even 1/20 of a second matters ;) A good TASer does everything on the first frame possible. This is only possible, because of frame advance, because I'm able to choose, when the game goes on moving ;) it is definately not possible to do everything on the first frame possible, if you play with 5% speed. although a normal eye isn't really able to notice the 3-9 frame difference, it is still important to do everything on the first frame possible, because if someone doesn't care, if hisyour TAS is frame perfect, he hasn't gotten the point of TASing yet the goal is not to create something, that looks good, the goal is to create a run, that is perfect and try the TAS Input Plugin, too. everybody needs a while to get used to it, but it's the only way to get really good ;)

you know, that this run fails hard? some guys can beat it non-TAS, for example runnerguy2489 ;) swordless link, bloobiebla and AKA (Mitjitsu) are doing a RBA TAS at the moment ;) before you start planning, what run you want to do, you should aim to get much much much better for now ;) you still need a long while, until you can do a TAS, that is on the skill level of nowadays swordless link for example has been TASing since back in 2006 already ;)

don't watch guano's run! his TAS is played on such a low skill level, that it should actually get banned from this side watch bloobiebla's run ;)

as I said already: we cleared the problem already but I can't stand it, if people come here and tell me, how to behave, although they have no idea, what happened

That doesn't make the behavior acceptable.
I can't see, why my behavior was wrong. ivmaddnessvi and his friend insulted me on youtube and called me a jerk, a show off and a grabber, because I told them, that their stuff has nothing to do with a TAS they played their first "TAS"es on project64 and recorded them with fraps. although all their videos were named like "woodfall temple TAS", they said, that I'm dumb, because I said, that their stuff would be a TAS, although they never said, it would be a TAS! how should I react then? at least, we cleared this problem on youtube by now ;)

it would be okay for a non-TAS, but not for a TAS I'll give you the link to download mupen and explain you, how to do a TAS, if you want me to it's always good to see new guys playing zelda

then why do you post this stuff on TAS(!!!!!!!!!)-VIDEOS.ORG? and create a new thread called "Majora's mask TAS(!!!!!!!!!!) Beginner" then?

the current reset recording causes lots of weird desynching, so using it is out of the door at least, this is what happened in MM

my forest escape via ESSing is the quickest way to escape the forest for the all temples TAS. we come from the shopso ESSing is the quickest way over to the kokiri guy. for the RBA TAS the old escape via hovering still seems to be quickest, because it skips the ocarina the most recent way is only useful for non-TAS Single Segment runs, because it is really easy to do compared to all the other ways

Having no upcoming MM TAS, after everything that's been discovered, is a real letdown, but I can hardly blame Swordless or anyone else for not wanting to tackle it. Swordless especially has probably seen the first cycle of this game far more than anyone ever should. Is there any singular compiled source of the TAS tricks and skills and MM breaks that've been found? It would go a long way towards encouraging new blood to take on these games... and sifting through over 100 pages reads like a big sign that says "run away."
not that I want to brag, but 99% of the new tricks are discovered by me, so they are on my youtube channel: www.youtube.com/mrgrunz I decided to go on with the TAS, so there will be a MM TAS. I made some good progress and I'm at mikau now

100% sure, you can't hex in the adult part ;) just think about the stalfos mega flip just because I entered the room 1 frame earlier, he behaved completely differently swordless should do the MM run first, before thinking about OoT again. he is working on the MM run for such a long time already and it is just time, that he finishes. the MM TAS is also way too awesome now, so Mm definately before OoT :P

actually, you could easily damage yourself down to half a heart before doing DoT skip that's what I'm going to do in my all temples TAS but it is still slower to death warp, much slower. swordless, bloob and aka don't want to get beaten by someone else later, just because he is able to save warp and actually isn't as good as them ;)

you mean, doing an ESS after doing the recoil flip? doesn't work, because you have to be out of Z targetting, but that isn't possible here, because you have to use your shield while backflipping, what requieres Z targetting

I won't re-do, because I've spend way too much time until all this luck manipulation stuff, that tooks all place in the beginning of the TAS like the peahat superslide and the rupee manipulation. just to prove, that I invested lots of work intot he rupee manipulation: I beat the RBA TAS by 35 frames just by manipulating better :P and I saved even more time by using a new rupee route, so I'm definately not going to re-do people will always have different mupen versions ;) I have mupen 64 0.5

sry, to interrupt into the 100% discussion, but as I said, I'd start a new all temples TAS. I'm finished with the rupee route and improved the rupee route of the RBA TAS by 150 frames. Those frames were saved by using a new route and using some quicker strategys at the rupee manipulation. It would be good, if everybody of you trys to make this m64 synch: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1696078323/OoT%20All%20Temples%20TAS.m64 It seems, that nobody can play it back succesfully apart from me, so I have to know, if that appears with all of you guys, too.
