no, kuwaga you can either RBA arrows or the quiver. with ruto's letter you RBA for arrows and with cojiro you RBA for the quiver. if you RBA for arrows, you get 20-30 items (up to the item in the bottle, when you RBA), but as you have no quiver, the arrow count goes down to 0 after shooting one arrow if you RBA for the quiver, you can use as many arrows as you want. we would get cojiro and RBA the quiver, then we buy a few arrows from the shop in kakariko and beat forest temple by going into the second room and doing the boss key skip discovered by unreal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOl9TnWxCx8 fire temple would immediately use this trick after entering the temple: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxJNes3c5hg makes the whole thing a bit boring, doesn't it? and the main reason, why I'm definately going to use the DoT skip is, that I want to create a very different run than bloob's one. if I wouldn't use it, the only differences would be: - my dodongo's cavern head skip - unreal's forest temple boss key skip instead of acryte's old one bloob used - my fire temple boss key skip - slingshot skip not really worth for doing a TAS in my opinion, that takes 6-8 month to do

this is all maybe confusing, but there's no way DC isn't quicker as child. The temple itself is as fast as child and adult. the way from kokiri to zora's river is pretty much the same like DC to river, so all the time added is the trip from kokiri to DC. All the superslides save more time than the trip to DC costs ;) Deku as adult is the quickest child temple to beat as adult. After forest you end up in front of the tree, so entering the temple as adult is only 10 seconds slower than as child. 5 of those 10 seconds are saved by using the hookshot inside of the Temple. but the main reason is, that it skips the 1 minute deku tree cutscene ;) I end up directly next to the tree after the forest temple. going to water and back to deku costs more time than climbing both vines in deku tree with the hookshot. AKA, as the rupee route is just a pain to do and takes a lot of time, that could be invested into other stuff, I asked SL, if I could use the rupee route of the RBA run. He allowed me to use it, but I don't know, what you think about it. If you agree SL, it would be cool, if you could upload it somewhere and send me the link in a private message.

I'd say, the reason, why he posted his run is, that we tell him, how to improve his run, which strategys he should have choosen instead etc. he never said, that he want his run to be published on this site. back to the actual topic: nice work kyman and the guy, who discovered the strategy. is mrrobertz still working on the 120 start TAS?

thanks the old way is probably quicker for TAS conditions, so no need to re-do the whole child section of the RBA TAS WIP. might be quicker for a non-TAS run, though

no, sadly not you need at least about 38 frames or at least something like this to roll after the shoot, but there are only 21 or something and thanks, that you like my stuff :)

forward infinite superslides aren't as quick as normal backwalking, what makes the whole FISS thing pointless.

I've noticed, that if you get hit by an enemy in one of the tanks and you're close to the ledge, link grabs the ledge earlier. I tryed to manipulate the enemy, but I wasn't able to. swordless should be able to do it. if so, we could actually use damage to our advantage ;)

the fairy fountain takes too much time to refil hearts if we don't want to go through half an hour of beeping, we have to have at least 1 3/4 hearts, because we get half an heart of damage at the wizrobe battle. I highly doubt, that we'll have 1 3/4 hearts, but I'll test it. the best thing is, that swordless breaks all 3 pots after playing the sonata, because he gets the stick and the nuts from them anyways, so he can manipulate the fairy from the 3rd pot to fly directly next to him, so he doesn't loose any time. I've noticed, that Gyorg is actually a bad way to damage link, because you're in the water. if I remember right, you loose control over link for 2-3 seconds for each hit, so alltogether, we would loose there 5-6 seconds. any idea for a better place to damage link?

as we have so many explosives to waste between shopping 2 and 3, I'm TASing Pirate's Fortress now and my goal is to use as many explosives as possible :D there's nothing cooler than trying to get creative at speed running =) will be uploaded next week, because I'm away for 5 days like slowking said already ;)

only thing we could do would be to overwrite bombchus and then buy 20 chus afterwards. that means, that you have 20 chus in your inventory and a equipped bottle but then again, you would be forced to complete the whole fortress without bombchus, what could cost some time again, but if I think about it, maybe we can complete PF only with bombs and never go shopping again afterwards edit: I had a look at our route and overwriting the chus should be the quickest way. it would add only 3 more bomb hovers edit 2: argh, it doesn't work if you use the bottle, the slot gets a bottle again edit 3: it seems to be a millions times quicker to me just to buy a deku stick later in the run instead of getting the bremen mask ;)

tryed that already and you can't get the speed into the slide ;) the only thing, I was able to do, was to keep the speed for 2 seconds by smashing the Z button

I created a MC route for my non-TAS run I always wanted to do, but never published it. it shows a route, that is a lot quicker than the current routes, especially the part from dungeon 3-4 ;) I actually wanted to keep it secret until I finished the run, but because of all the TASes people do for this game, I'll post it here soon ;)
