Isn't there another SEGA CD emulator that can fulfill a TASer's needs? ...By the way, how about getting the Good Ending by acquiring all seven Time Stones if doing this game is possible.

Surely, other N64 emulators would do.

o Believe me, this is a fun game to play. The question being however, is whether a TAS would be fun enough to watch to warrent creating one.
This game is fun to play AND watch! Not to mention, it is different as you can't just go from left to right to complete the level. Have to collect all those, er, humans too. Besides, I wanna see someone beat that super annoying duck-on-a-flying-carpet into submission! That would give me (and probably many others) satisfaction.

I never understook the ending though. why does he want all the Angel Island inhabitants to suffocate in the thin upper atmosphere? is it a selfish thing so he can live there and easily glide to anywhere else in the world? >:(
Supposedly, Angel Island would sink into the ocean after a certain amount of time. And another thing; Knuckles is probably the only inhabitant on the island (at least in this Sonic universe).

Is it possible to do a TAS of this beautifully great game? The emulator Satourne might be the best bet.

Are you saying that NONE of the Pokémon I train will evolve in this game? I always thought that was the point of a Pokémon game. To train and evolve.. What is the point of training them if they only get slightly stronger? Won't do them a whole lot of good in the long run.
The only thing evolution will do in this game is result in a different appearance. Your stats won't go up by an awful lot when you evolve. So if you're planning to go past the credits, evolving them would be a waste of time. ...On the other hand, you can get different attacks. But if you really want to know how, visit this link: http://www.serebii.net/mysteriousdungeon/evolution.shtml

I don't get it. How come the other Super Mario All-Stars movie played with Super Mario Bros. 2 got accepted but this one is being practically rejected?

You just contradicted yourself. Megaman Zero 4 is for the Game Boy Advance. So is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. So people should be able to TAS it.

Also, they aren't 9 years old, and they aren't psychopaths. The backstory to the game is very interesting.
According to the Wikipedia article, they are 9 years old. Although I am a little confused as to the twins' and their mother and father's behavior. Is it something to do with that Satanic church with the pentagram and altar? Please, make this an S run! I don't want to see the heroine die a gruesome death. And speaking of gruesome, will we have to put up a disclaimer to warn younger viewers not to watch this?

I'd like to see a speedrun of this pioneering survival-horror game; preferably in English. It hasn't officially been released in English (at least, on the SNES) but I know of an English patch. I'm aware hacks are generally not allowed but there have been exceptions before. Anyway, if it's agreed, then maybe, if it doesn't slow the game down, we could have the heroine get chased by that nine-year-old, garden-shears-wielding, psychopath once or twice.

Unless I'm mistaken, it is possible for Mario to dodge literally every attack.
Uh, no. I think you're thinking about Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. You can, however, minimize each attack's damage with the action command after you get the Lucky Star.

To heck with glitchy graphics and menus! After all, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's menu takes a while to come up just like in Paper Mario and it actually affects the length of the run! Besides, I'd love to see Mario zip by enemies by a hair.

Perhaps someone can try an All-Chaos-Emeralds run now. Let's see, that would involve finding the best routes (and possibly new best combinations) to get all the Chao in the Acts in the quickest times possible and then getting one key from one Act for each Zone.

How about an All-Chaos-Emeralds run with either (or better yet, both) of these games? Pretty please?

Anyone up for doing a run for this game? I'd love to see the differences between Doki Doki Panic and Super Mario Bros. 2!

Holy cow! Now I really wanna see a TAS for both Sonic Adventure 1 & 2. Any chance of an existing Dreamcast emulator that has save states, frame advance, etc?

No, my other project was the as many rings as possible run. I almost always only play as Sonic because only he can use the shield actions.
Exactly! That would make Tails' and Knuckles' runs even more different from Sonic's! Besides, look at all the Castlevania runs where they play as different characters. Of course, somebody else can try this. Any volunteers?

After you're done with this, maybe you can attempt an all-Emerald run as Tails or Knuckles instead! Perhaps their abilities will make their runs very different from Sonic's, especially Knuckles': he does take a different path from Sonic in some levels.

Hmmm... I don't know if you have the time, but why wouldn't you try to do a run for this game yourself... It's not animosity, though, you should try to run through the game... Let me explain... If you try and post WIP here, some people might get interested in this game and continue on or help you... I do not know this game... but as it's a Pokemon game it must be quite long and not so easy... I hope you get my point here... i did not want to be mean... ;)
Well, I'm not sure I have enough time... Besides, I have almost no experience with speedruns aside from watching them and knowing what frame advance, save states and all the other stuff are.

Let me get this straight: you're requesting a run for a game that hasn't even been released world-wide? What is the huge rush?
Eh heh heh... (curls into a tight ball from embarassment) Good point. I guess you could practise on the Japanese version though.
