I'm voting yes. I watched the run in half hour chunks, and each part was a clear technical achievement, even though it got quite repetetive. I would vote a stronger yes vote on the Class S run.

He hasn't submitted the run, so I'm curious where you got that information from.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/38977870/diabetes.gmv I saved 17 frames on the intro. How did I do that? Well basically, during the intro, there is a magical frame (196) and if you press start while on this frame, it totally skips the intro fading in. Now we just see black. Good luck to improvers.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/603198934/daika.vbm Saved 20 frames on text only. How did I do that? Well basically, in this game, you can skip text by pressing A or B. However, if I press A to skip a text box, the next time, I will only be able to press A on the second frame of text for some reason! By pressing B, we can skip it on the first frame of text! :D Seeing as how the game is long, and a lot of it is text, you could save time with this. Also, Ferret told me that he missed a few corner boosts along the way, though he did not say where. Good luck to improvers.

This game is a good choice. Also hurry up and redo Spawn :(

Voted no due to not being capless and coinless as well.

Didn't the run of this game that aimed for fastest time get cancelled due to negative viewer response? (http://tasvideos.org/1701S.html) I would probably vote no on a fastest run of this game.

The sound errors weren't particularly distracting.
I agree.
You constantly switched weapons much earlier than necessary, which looks rather un-TASy.
I didn't know that it seemed sloppy, but it doesn't waste time and doesn't stop the gameplay, so I guess it isn't that bad.
Were downtime antics not possible? In many boss fights, you were standing still for extended periods of time while pointing your weapon at the boss. The autoscroller section also looks like it could be much less dull.
I guess they could be a bit better, but the only section I could see that would really benefit is while waiting for the cube boss and the autoscroller stage, but there isn't particularly much I could do in that one without it getting repetetive after a while. Maybe the 2 player could be used better, but I was going for reducing lag, which is hard because of FBA's lack of a lag counter, so I was just trying to shoot everything.

If you have any more info about the game, it might help make the run more interesting.
Here is some more info about the game. 1. You can take 2 hits, the 3rd hit kills you. When you die and respawn, your health does not refill so you can only take 1 hit before dying. This makes the game hard in real time. 2. Most other weapons are sadly useless in a TAS. The bomb can only be used while ducking and that wastes 2 frames each time. And the flamethrower obviously can't hit enemies far away, so it will only cause lag while the enemies come to us. 3. Each weapon can be upgraded by picking up green boxes. These come randomly from enemies after they die. Obviously, we need to manipulate luck to get these to drop. The best upgrade is the spread gun, an upgrade from the regular pea shooter. So we need that one asap. The other one nessescary is an upgrade to the four-way bullet which makes them all swirl in a circle instead. The other upgrades allow the flamethrower to get a longer range and the bomb to have a bigger explosion.

I don't know yet if this is a property of FBA-RR v0.0.7, or if this is only how the encode came out.
This is an FBA fault. I have only briefly played this game at a real arcade which lead me to TAS it, so I had no idea how the voices are supposed to sound like. (I also didn't TAS this game with sound)

I made an encode. It is embedded in the submission text. Unfortunately, FBA's avi dumper is a pain and there is some A/V desync, sorry >_> (Yay, Post 1337)

It's like the current SNES run, but with worse graphics and audio and less funny stuff, sorry but I vote no too.

For those who care, this run is a 4:56.96 improvement over Bestiajeruleses run. Anyway, this sounds like it will be quite awesome if you think it is the best TAS you ever made.

Hey, just a poke here for any publishers who didn't see it in the OoT thread, this run now has known improvements. So if you're going to create a video you should hold off until the improvement is in (assuming SL is going to.)
These do not seem to have been added, but I guess 1 pub is better then no pub.

I wish I had cpadolf's TASing ability. I however do not. I wish I could vote yes on this epic run full of action and variety. I however can.

The name maker is hilarious and probably provides hours of fun on its own. I named all my characters "Guga" except the third one, which I called "Trog". Guess who survived.

This game was not released to stores. I've tried TASing it before. It is faster to keep doing high jumps.

IMO, this run should not have a moon. It doesn't really mark anything special. The previous run may have been the first lsnes run, but this is like the 5th.
