Voting weak yes, because the game is so easy, and the levels are a bit straightforward, but the game was cute, fast, and short.

Also noticed at the credits it is a sequel!?
I noticed it already when I saw "nitrogenesis's GB Popeye 2 in 11:27.92". So yeah, there's probably a Popeye 1 too.
Yeah, Popeye 1 is a totally different game. It's a maze game where you need to find Swee'Pea and Olive Oyl. Maybe it might make a good run. It was only released in Japan, unlike this international sequel, sort of like the Goonies NES games.

The first world (as well as the tileset overall) reminded me of Mario Land. Are they from the same publisher?
Nope, this one's from Activison.

I think he's saying that a SWF "emulator" is a possibility.

I heard this game has some emulation issues with Dega. Maybe we could see a run made with BizHawk? It is a shame we don't have a published run of this.

I dont really understand what you mean by "steal it an idea." So someone is trying to improve your TAS and you got mad?Not really mature. If I got mad when someone obsoleted my TASes, I would've left the site a really long time ago.

I'll vote Meh, because the game was appealing but a bit too long and really slow. You did a good job though.

Pretty enjoyable. The game is nice to look at and has a good sense of speed. It started to get a little repetitive, then it ended. :) Yes voted.

I literally just facedesked. If you read the thread even a little bit, you would know that the previous run was played at 60 fps when it was a PAL game, so it was running faster then it should've been. If this run had been timed that way, it would be a lot quicker and a clear improvement to xipo's movie. Also, why'd you bump this?

I've never played this game, but your WIP was very entertaining. The game looks nice, and your run was fast and looked well done. I disagree, the Level Completed screen isn't that bad, except for that one after the boss. Looking forward to your next WIP.

Guga, you need to distinguish this as the GB version, so the filename should be theaddamsfamilygb-tas-kyman.

I don't really see anything super-human, Kyman. A few hours after my post I tried doing the glitch on console and succeeded easily.

The subs should explain it, but basically on the first frame you enter the boss fight, their RAM address hasn't been set to their HP value. By usin a bomb, you can hurt them during this time, killing them instantly.

I looked through the list of Famicom exclusives and played some. Here are a few that could look nice. Wing of Madoola - It's fairly fast with some nice damage boosts. Utsurun Desu - Some funny left+right glitches. Time Zone - Fast paced and nice graphics. Magical Taruruuto-kun 2 - It's a fun platformer. Too bad it is so dialogue heavy. It only works on FCEUX 2.1.6 so far. Mottomo Abunai Deka - A run that kills a lot of enemies could be entertaining Parasol Henbee - A decent platformer with a shop to buy things. However it's all in japanese, with no translation. PaaMan Part 2 - Some nice gameplay variety, with different characters to choose from. PaaMan - Better then Part 2 but there is some boring stuff. Mappy Kids - You can keep getting roller skates to maintain a high speed. Jumpin' Kid - Jack to Mame no Ki Monogatari - Funny platformer. Journey to the West 2 - Platformer, jumping is fastest movement. Chester Field - Fast platformer, seemed straightforward. Tashiro Masashi no Princess ga Ippai - Platformer. Bio Senshi Dan - Increaser Tono Tatakai - Fun platformer. There is a (U) (Proto) version. Armadillo - Fast paced. Is the prequel of Ultraman Ball, which has a published run. Cocoron - Tanooki Teabag was working on this. Is he still around? Daiku No Gen San 2 - Sequel to Hammerin Harry. Is fairly short, with a few annoying autoscrollers near the end. Doraemon - Decent platformer. No not the unlicensed chinese game, the official J version. A Week Of Garfield - Funny platformer, getting the boot makes you go quite fast. Esper Bouken Tai - I think it's an RPG - platform hybrid. Heisei Tensai Bakabon - Humorous platformer where you fight with an umbrella. Dragon Buster - Platformer + RPG Huang Di - OK action platformer Kamen Rider Club - Gekitotsu Shocker Land - Platformer Radia Senki - Reimi Hen - RPG, english translation avaliable Great Battle Cyber - OK beat em up\platformer Spartan X 2 - Beat em up, left + right kills enemies instantly

Ok, so here is the first WIP: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1502061495/BLAZ1.fm2 It was made with TAS Editor in fceux 2.1.6. There are some subtitles to explain most things. I've started work on the next level, expect it soon, hopefully.

What about the Wagan Land games? Also, if "pirate" games count, I would like to see Metal Force.

Angerfist: I votes yes because I thought it was funny to see this guy casually stroll along without caring about the enemies. Also, this game is pretty hard.

Not a whole lot of variety, but the pace was decent and it was short enough. It was also funny to see the guy casually strolling along without caring about the enemies. Yes vote. Also, when you say "takes no damage", do you mean it would have been faster to take damage but you decided not to?
