You pay the shopkeeper with bones that you collect during levels.

Well, I've been toying around with this game, and I discovered a little trick. If you don't kill some enemies, the game doesn't spawn some that come up ahead. This could save some time off the published run.
Here is a little test of this thing, nowhere near optimized. (3 frames faster then published run, omg) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/337622932/gensan.fm2
I intend to do an optimized version later, as this game is pretty fun to TAS once you learn how it functions.

I played this game after encoding and it is very hard to control ball ultraman like the way this TAS does, as it is very sensitive to hitting walls and will bounce all over the place.
