I also love the YouTube comment which basically sums it up: "dude if this is what happens when megaman saves the world, maybe wily isn't so bad"
I think this comment should be featured in the TAS description.

Sadly the voting poll doesn't include valuable options such as "lol wut" and "hell yeah". I'll have to stick to a plain mere "yes vote" which doesn't really express the awesomeness of this run. Is there anything that HASN'T been glitched here?

This is something I'd yes vote if finished. Keep it up.

I recommend when it becomes possible, do the Sega Saturn version of this game. Music is a LOT better then the Genesis version.
This is a matter of personal taste. I prefer the Genesis music.

Definitely not optimised. And that saddens me because I love Sonic 3D and I wish we will have a TAS of it someday. Strong no vote.

I love glitched runs. This is a very easy yes vote from me. btw, shouldn't this include the "manipulates luck" tag?

Here is a 13066 bytes version of that screenshot: As for the run itself, I'm afraid I have to vote meh. Maybe because I'm not a fan of Earthworm Jim, but I was falling asleep after 5 minutes or so.

All these new videos are incredible. As for Super Mario 64, Japanese TASers are really a source of good ideas and new techniques. I'd yes vote the hell out of a submission that includes these tricks. It would be faster AND more entertaining than the current one.

Is it just me, or does mmarks's encode become mute at 1334, after you collect the triforce in level 7?

I loved the latest wip. You used several glitches in interesting ways.

If I remember correctly there is one frame that can be saved in the last Bowser fight thus bringing the time to 504.70, but last time I checked I assumed that sadly they didn't want to include it because it doesn't look as good and keep the current way to end the Bowser fight as a speed/entertainment tradeoff. But there might be some other frame here and there.

While it is true that you can't stop downloading an archive.org stream, you can always cheat and drag the marker to the end, so it will download a few mere seconds and stop there.

While I liked this run and its well-definited goal (lowest score), I somehow have to agree that a playaround might be more entertaining. As long as it displays many more glitches, including various kinds of flagpole glitches, or crazy enemy killing combos, and so on... Maybe even suboptimal warps (e.g. from 1-2 to 3-1 instead of 4-1) if the third world can be used to perform interesting glitches (it probably doesn't, this is just an example). I'll gladly watch 20 minutes of funny playaround if they were worth it. That said, my yes vote for this run stands still.

Now that was epic. "Hi mom I'm going out for a walk" (a few seconds later) "wtf I never realised the hall of fame was straight in front of my door o.O"

When I saw the lack of the description I, too, thought it was a bug and I was about to report it here. Fortunately I saw the posts above before I hit the "new reply" button, so I won't report it. But I will side amongst the ones who would like the description to be there again.

Neat one! But, again, shouldn't everyone concentrate on the earliers levels since stars can't be easily hexed in? The clock level is one of the lasts...

I somehow found this entertaining despite its length and its repetitiveness. It would be a neat addition to the "other/demo" movie category. Very weak yes vote, I won't cry if this won't make it.

Joseph Collins it depends on the goals the author sets in his submission. It is "aims for fastest in-game time" opposed to "aims for fastest real time". Both of them are legit options here on tasvideos (as far as I know), and they sometimes have (or have had) separate categories, in games such as Metroid. Traditionally, most (if not all?) Sonic games are usually run aiming for fastest in-game time, which in turn results into longer score tallies. I think it makes sense, after all, because Sonic games are all about speed, so it's good if levels are played as fast as possible; I can live with a few seconds of fast forward here and there.

Wow, if this isn't a blatant ripoff of Sonic Spinball I don't know what it is. While I can't judge the technical aspects beyond this run, its wtf factor made it funny enough to deserve an entertainment-based yes vote.

Kyman, I am very sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude. I sincerely apologise if you were offended by my post. I just brought up a point because I believe many people would like this run to be as perfect as possible (as Mothrayas agreed). My yes vote would stand even without that other one frame, of course.
