Should I encode this? I doubt it will be published.

At the risk of being repetitive, I have to say that I love all the videos of sonicpacker. A question do you think you can open the moat door with a p-blj? Maybe if you go fast enough, you can trick the game. Yes I know, I don't mean to go beyond without opening it, that doesn't work.

I fixed the aspect ratio, you can get the file at the same location as before, which is http://www.archive.org/details/Sonic_Spinball_in_09_55_88_by_mmbossman I am sorry for this little problem with the aspect ratio, it was because I used Gens 9.5c, and I thought that cropping the black bars was something special, but Flygon told me that Gens 11 does it by its own, so I was confused. Now it is alright. Thanks Flygon, and thanks Sgrunt.

And I discourage multiple encodes instead, it saves my CPU time. I'll just stop once again. Now, I hope that I won't have to dump this a third time \ I changed my mind, I don't want to disappoint someone important as Sgrunt. Time for me to dump this for the third time and start again, yay. I EDITED MY POST http://www.archive.org/details/maTO_Genesis_Ex-Mutants_in_10.11.23

Did anyone manage to finish an encode of this?
I started one, but then, I saw the Flygon's post above, and I assumed he was encoding this. Now, I asked him, and he said I can go ahead, so I will make one. Give me some time, maybe one hour or two.

Just watched it all... It is very good! One question, by the way. What happens at 106 of part 4?

I love you, sir. And I support mmbossman's proposal of unrejection.

Sure there are a lot of cutscenes in that game. You race 10 seconds, you spend 20 seconds in menu. Not sure this is a good game choice.

I love Klax! Although I prefer the Arcade version, I like what you've done here. Please submit!

I'm not sure I can do that, let me explain why it is 320x224. I didn't deform it from 320x240 to 320x224 by stretching it, I actually cropped the black bars up and down, since they are always black, and useless, in an effort to reduce the file size. Any media player should display this with the proper aspect ratio since the pixels size didn't change, both windowed, and full-screen (if you don't set it to stretch, the black bars will reappear by their own). Sorry if I messed it up, in an effort to make it better. But I can't readd the black bars now, unless I encode it again.

There you go, Sgrunt. It is 4 MB more big than the old file, I am sorry, but I think it looks good. Thanks again to Flygon for the tips he give to me.

All of these videos are great! Yes, even the last one, I saw it before he edited his post. The existing 120-stars run is one hour and 39 minutes with something 60000 rerecords, the new one will be less than one hour, with 500 thousands rerecords, if you proceed like this. Hell I wish I could donate something to you for your hard work and dedication, I love Mario 64 :D

I have a Nintendo 64. You can recalibrate the joystick with R+L+Start how many times you want and it doesn't pause. I used it sometimes, in real time, to go faster in some games. So I agree that 100% is possible.

If the resolution change few times you can have more files? Like "game-TAS-part1.avi", "game-TAS-part2.avi", etc. Of course this is good for less than 5 parts otherwise there are too many files. If resolution change a lot then you shouldn't.
Epic pinball
Epic pinball is not a good TAS candidate, as you can play forever and the score will overflow at 4 billions. I was sad when that happened to me.

I do not like rpg. And this is long. But I watched it all, without fast forward, because it was entertaining. I am surprised, but I vote yes.

Sorry if this was already posted, I saw this on Youtube, randomly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_niuy6gAySs Maybe it can be useful, it claims to be fastest, but a comment says there's something faster by 40 seconds. I hope it can be useful )

I said this and I say it again. Fraps is hideous. They should call it Craps. Camtasia Studio is where cool kids play. But the FAQ say no to screen capture.
