I once have seen some point-and-click flashgames been TASed on a strange japanese site.. Bad thing is i can't find these videos anymore... But it was about a year or so ago, so i always thought that there were some flash emulators out there. Even though i wasnt able to find one. Maybe these videos were made with a klick bot or something? I remeber that the gameolay was inhumanly fast.

On this compatibility list you can find "lunar 2" (maybe both games work with the same engine...) In this forum the user seph29 says that it would work well with Pcsx 1.5 Thats all i could find, hope it helps;-) Otherwise you have to try for yourself, good luck!

@BrainStormer You need to perform the Celebi Egg Glitch with Meditate at the 4th attack slot. The manipulated pokemon will then hold a twisted spoon. By breeding you might be able to create a mankey with beat up and meditate (result pokemon would be a celebi with twisted spoon), but i dont think it'll work... And you have to be careful! The glitch can be harmful to your save file. But its the only way without yellow or gameshark. By the way: a yellow cartridge costs like 5 bucks;-) EDIT: here is the youtube link

Sorry, but I don't really think that this should be voted down purely due to the game's own faults. I agree that the music sucks, and that the game, and gameplay does get extremely repetative, but that's no reason to dislike the TAS. It is optimized quite a bit, and watching it again, I can see a couple frames of improvement, but there are no TASes of this game on the site yet so there's no harm in publishing it.
I've been thinking the same way either. I always thought 'hey, why don't publish a run of every game if there is one?' But this site stands for quality and the rules say that the game should be TASable. And if you think about that you see why such games are voted down... I guess there have been enough discussions about that but i think 'non-TASable games' should have their own category...

To my mind this is a bad game choice... This game is some serious ear rape... On top of that it seems like an unassisted run would be as fast as yours and sometimes your routes and gameplay seem to be unoptimized (i'm not saying it is) No vote...

Except glitches with IDs this high (251 in this case) either freeze/crash the game or spawn a glitch trainer battle (which also freezes/crashes the game) when you try to encounter them, so they can't be obtained in any way other than cheating.
Oh sorry, i forgot that you can only obtain them through the johto guard glitch -.- Whats with the parcel glitch? You could manipulate your party pokemon and then trade them by using the dokoshira door glitch to move on. I think such a glitchy run(again) would just be great for p4wn3r ;-)

Just set the game's clock (which can be set upon new game) so that a day rollover happens during the run.
If you are trading glitch pokemon from Gen I you could just catch 'M'Ng/F q, which becomes a celebi upon trading to Gen II Other thing: Generation III's "certificate run" would be quite possible with ruby and sapphire, then you just have to catch the regional pokemon (except jirachi and deoxys)

thanks for the fast reply. you have to regain the running shoes in every level which is a bit annoying but its not that big of a deal especially because its only about 20 second in average. and as you can see in the genesis TAS there is some variety to the game from time to time. the sad thing is that i didn't find any glitches yet, there are just very strange hitboxes in this game and sometimes the hit detection does not work... another thing: I already did som ram search and found the x- and y-position on screen and the speed value. But i'm confused that the speed value always lies between -5 and 5 (walking=1; running=4-5).* i searched problaby 5 times and it always comes down to 7E0166. but when looking at the acceleration while running it seems to be more diversified... for the total time: there are 5 levels and will likely be in between 10-15minutes *and there is no hopping glitch like in SMW, at least i couldn't come up with one

Hey guys, I'm new on the forum (lurking since 2007 i guess) but thats not why i'm making this thread ;-) About a month or so ago I started with a Chester Cheetah: Too cool to fool TAS. there is already this thread concerning the Genesis version but since i'm doing it on the SNES I opened this one... So i just want to ask you guys if you think this game could make a good TAS or not... I already uploaded level 1 on youtube and there is a full genesis tas which is, i have to admit, looking a bit sloppy. But i guess you can see the differences between both version pretty well and i just want to get some feedback to see if i'm wasting time^^ PS: I think there aren't enough CHEETAHMEN on this site :D
