Still trying to oni-spec Leading Cyber. I just can't read the f-ed up part in the middle at 1x. Then it's spamming Max300 till I can do it in my sleep. (and at .25x).

I think TSA was working on a legit speedrun, iirc. Not a superplay.

It's desyncs for me at the beginning. On both the versions I have, which one are you using?

This is the point where I'd go "ZOMG WAI!!!!11" but I have too much respect for these boards. The feeling is still there though. I assure you. EDIT: Post 69... heh heh heh...

As little as it matters coming from me, I think this one deserves a star as well. Terimakasih, that was beautiful. *cries tears of joy*

Sorry, I should have read more carefully, you explicitly state that it's not done. I just skimmed it and latched on the interesting enough to get published part.

There is another thing which is set in stone along with the step counter - the enemy you will meet next. Pressing buttons or changing directions when about to approach the last free step doesn't affect it. The enemy can be tweaked by refreshing the bottle or entering a new area, or entering an adjacent room in the dungeon, but I don't think anyelse else works =/
Eh? I've had some success with tweaking it to avoid Lizardmen in the forest. I'll have to double check, but I believe you can change the enemy by alternating between running and walking. (ie run for a bit then walk for a bit.) EDIT: Unless the sound bug applies to the version of the ROM I have. It works.

The value of a game lies in it's ability to be played. You cannot play anything Bisqwit distributes. And what he does falls well under fair use. And even if it didn't, Nintendo and Sega would never imagine suing the site. It's making them money by generating interest in their old games. The ones Nintendo is currently bringing back. I'm sorry, Kidofly, you have nothing to stand on with that argument. EDIT: Hmm... I might have misinterpreated who the illegality is against. I'm fairly certain Bisqwit obtained permission for most, if not all the movies on this site from their respective authors.

Is there any place other than Gamefaqs with a records repository to use as a baseline?

This site was founded on my birthday. Weird. Congratulations on one year. May it be the first of many. So I can get at least one movie up. ^_^;;

Hmm... tru.dat. I forgot about it loading a save state of a hard reset rather than just simply resetting it.
