Ahh, I see. Again, I said I have put almost no effort into it. And because I never ever walk normally unless I have to, it never occured to me. @Bob, my SMRPG movie was desyncing because of small variations in the randomness that take a few frames (like winning a Mushroom at the end of a fight so the box takes longer to pop up). That clicked it into place for me, why the randomness wasn't the same.

Well, it seems to be timebombed as well. I could only get so far. (Not that I put an inordinate amount of work in it). Also the timebomb seems to carry over between screens. I'm not sure about between world map and a random cave though. It's also quite easy to manipulate which enemies pop up when. It's very sensitive to input. (Which I fear means it'll also be somewhat sensitive to desync) BTW, just a though. If you seem to be desyncing alot when you watch the movie try a clean load. (Sorry it just came to mind. I was thinking about the tetris movie. If the random seed uses information in RAM to initialize then that's probably most of the desync troubles for those games. If it's not news to everyone apologises. But it's news to me. And I haven't seen it posted explicitly yet.)

Letsee my Japanese is a bit rusty, and this computer doesn't have the language packs installed. The "\" key is the first key to the left of the right shift. "\"-ha migi-na Shift-no ichiban hidari-no key desu. (I know, the horrible horrible pain of romajii) And I told you I was rusty... Some of those nos should be na's and vica versa probably. I'm more embarressed about this than you can be.

O_O;;;; Crazy. As long as the random battles are kept down this ought to be interesting. Is it a steps or random chance thing? I remember walking quite a long way sometimes. And other times just getting hammered one after another. I was able to manipulate where I got a random battles somewhat by switching between walking and running. But it seemed to reach a limit on how far I could do it. Just a little tip. But no fansub. ;_; Yeah, Arche owns me.

By the same token, have you tried the spin jump counterclockwise? (That bubble could be irksome though) But the normal flying looks cleaner than it did. If you're conflicted about it tomarrow morning then toss a coin.

I'mma vote for the spin jump. Suggestion for a little more speed, (I don't know if it will work though.) The platform with the P-block, you seemed to land a little late. Would landing earlier and jumping earlier help any? (ie cape both in one jump? or land on top the block and destroy it caping the prize block. Then jump back up to grab the p-block.)

I thought that Wing Commander the movie was just coincidentally named the same as the game...

What codec was used to do the encoding? I don't seem to have it.

Remember: "Closing Time, you don't have to go home but you can't stay here." So I think the best question is "Where is this guy headed?"

Well dance is a few frames longer than x-zone/doom, but I wouldn't think enough be a net loss when taken the time to learn Dusk Requiem/Love Sonata compaired to learning Doom or X-Zone. I'd think beating up on Cactars would be the easiest way to level up magic. That's 10 magic points and all it takes is one Sabin pummel.

I vividly remember Gambit's level being quite frustrating.

You can't win the marathon. He always finishes a second faster than you. And the Hylian Loach took me ~4 hours to catch. This was before I found the sinking lure. I haven't really tried since then. I've been hunting a 22 pounder (which I'm not really sure even can exist)

Loach, The Hyrulian Loach. I've only caught it once. 33 pounds, I wonder what the range is. I've caught a 21 pound regular fish though.

If you're going to do it on an older copy (1st edition) you have to make sure you get the Mask of Truth, and the 2nd Deku Nut upgrade, before becoming an adult. Also, Skulltula?

No, it's possible to get the Biggoron sword without Epona.

It concerns the dereferencing of hashes. The { }s in a hash don't seem to behave as regular block, as such I'm having trouble using variables inside of them. For instance: $CGI{$editn[$j]} doesn't do what I want. $CGI{${editn}[$j]} and $CGI{"$editn[$i]"} fail as well. Is there anything I can do about this, or is it just an odd quirk and I have to find a work around?

Bah, the last time I played it on an emulator I leaned on the skip frame key the entire time outside of battles.

You can watch avis on WMP. But as I said before, you'll need to update your codecs. To my knowledge there are no wmv copies of the runs. And you'll probably want to get a different media player. I'm in eternal servitude to Winamp.
