Luck manipulation.
I didn't encounter any objects. And b) would be faster, but I was never able to pull it off.

'qwit is probably asleep, and I cannot delete any but my last post. And you seem to be afraid of the Edit button, so I'll not dare expose you to it. So, are you going to work on this time attack or fill up the thread with things better reserved for the Off Topic boards. And if 'Qwit or a mod is reading this please regard this as a request to clear this thread of clutter.

Your grammar has been less than exemplary, so I took it for a typo and a request.

SSV, you aren't. You have to have the rom to watch it unless someone wants to encode and host the avi for you. And I don't see that happening anytime quickly, or slowly, or at all.

Dear sweet Zelda I have not forgotten about thee. http://www.nerdparadise.com/crap/LoZLttP-Omni-WIP.smv Not *much* of an update. But it'll do 'till I can fully plan the third dungeon. Note: It's faster to go around the pit than to go over it, unfortunately. As you only go half speed while voidwalking.

Here's something I threw together to give a feel of the best way I know to go through the 0th level. http://www.nerdparadise.com/crap/DonkeyKong-Omni.vbm You'll need to use v1.0, as v1.1 has different timing and you jump slightly lower, iirc.

http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1824 Actually there is one, but it was rejected. It's also two hours long. It also could have been found easily using the Search feature.

But they are discussions about the movie already in progress. And it's always better to bump an existing thread (especially one with strategy information) than to create a new one.

Because I'm busy with a really long frickin movie, I figured I'd get this ball rolling and someone can pick it up. Primary time saving trick will probably be the "forwards turnaround jump" which is done by ->, <-, -> + jump on successive frames, iirc. You can throw away and pick up the hammer without losing any time, I've abused this to quickly beat level 1-3, and also bring the hammer to the top with the key. Note: I was able to do this with frame advance, but on playback it screwed up so I don't know if it's actually possible, but: On 0-2 you can flip up to the elevator going down and from there flip up to the top level. Which saves around a time unit.

Yes, that'd be the sketch glitch in FF6. But you probably wouldn't want to do this very much. You know how much the Sketch glitch screws up the game in FF6.

A quick search ought to turn that up for you. But, http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1421 yes.

I started it, but I took up LttP instead. I did get the first 8 levels done. iirc, my times on the first four are 98, 98, 97, 94. I don't recall the others.

Yes, that makes it much more prone to desync. Use the 3 button mode.

I was out last week, because I was busy at work. I was out this weekend because of Easter. And I'm out next week because I'll be royally slammed at work. Anyway, I decided against going back. I need to get this done and work on other stuff. I'll come back and fix it later. Along with all the little 1 or two frame mistakes I have in this version. Oh, and much <3 to Dehacked.

I think you missed the first part of step one. Not in read only mode.
