I'm not sure what you mean but if you're talking about turning left and right repeatedly 60 times in a second, the characters can only move a direction and turn back within at least 2 frames and so on. Most of the time that I had to wait, I "wobbled" because it looks funny :) BTW, <(^^<) is one character, yes?

Thank you all. I was worried people may not like this run because of it's duration.

Done. BTW, do you have to use the same key config as I do to run the movie? (Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, my first submission) EDIT: I guess not.

Is there a Genesis version of the game?

Yes. It's no problem though. I can whip through the levels I've already done because I've already planned it all out (with quality of course).

2. And just to say when I first started I didn't know much about timeattacking. Since I started at the beginning of September, I've had to start over and do a few optimizations, but I predict this will be done about late November. But don't hold me to that. (Just to put it into retrospect, xebra and Sleepz have been working on their Sonic runs since late July and even earlier.)

It's coming along fine. I'm in the middle of the egyptian world right now and I'm averaging about 4 or 5 levels a week. It will be ready when it's ready. Just relax :)

I have been working on a run with the Europeon version of the rom(50 fps), but have been running it at the American speed (60 fps) on Gens. As far as I can tell, the Europeon and American roms have only two differences: The Euro version has the Virgin logo at the beginning and it also has a language option. This has no benefit to me, nor does it cause any problems. I ran the Euro rom at American speed vs. The American cartridge on a Genesis console and both run at exactly the same speed. The reason for this: I didn't realize there was a difference until only recently when I tried out the American version of the game and noticed that the logo and language option was missing. I'm about a 1/4 done with the run and it has been bothering whether or not this is of concern. I may be worrying too much, but I had to check. Should this be of question? [Edit] Okay, let me rephrase it: Is it okay to run a Europeon rom at American Speed? To run the movie with the correct rom, all you would have to do is click on CPU and change the country to USA (NTSC). It should be fine then.

It's looking pretty good, however I've been pretty busy and haven't had a lot of time to really sit down and get at it. But I'll get keep on it whenever I can.

I'm currently working on completing level 3. Sorry, but this run might take a while.

Sorry, but the rom I have (Europe) only supports two players, besides, Gens only allows 2-player ports. EDIT: I'm using the USA version now because it's plays at a faster rate.

I've done the first two levels with 2 players and it definitely does cut down time.

It would be interesting to see this as a time attack. The switching from one viking to the next would would have to be mastered, in my experience that was the most frustrating aspect of the game. Using no passwords of course, the length of the movie would be questionable, seeing as there are around 30 levels (could someone verify this?). However, if they are finished quickly, it would sustain the entertainment value. What do you think? Could this be time attack material?
