Seems there's a "parallel world" mentioned on the Air homepage that you access following the completion of 4-3? Air Homepage in Japanese Air Homepage with English translation (sort of...) by Google In particular, the last part of the "SKY" link and the "AIR" link within the "BLOOM, DREAM, DESPAIR, SKY, AIR" menu, midway down the page. It looks as though there's a new boss at the end of (assumedly) parallel 1-3 as well as a different ending (with the GIF conveniently mosaic'd so nobody can see it.) Of course I could be totally wrong. That's what I was able to cobble together from the translated page, which resembles something of a Where's Waldo of the English language. Worth a mention at any rate.
Hmm. Hey, you're right. So, how do you reach it?

I don't think clouds should be used. May as well do every level, that way the viewers get to see the fastest time for every single one. In which case, 1-3-2

Green Hill, Marble, Spring Yard, Labyrinth, Star Light, Scrap Brain all x3... That'd make it 18, I believe.

In my opinion, if it's this long and still worth watching all the way through that just makes it a better canditate for star-dom.

What's the point of an emulator emulating loading times as well? Aren't they unwanted?

Hey, cool! Someone was doing a TAS of this game? I'll have to grab the rom at some point, I really liked this one...

Yeah, I figured out that the first rock could be moved somewhere useful, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly where that is...

Myself, I'm currently stuck on level 12. Darn those sadistically designed fogged levels.

Ah, taking the red key from the exit-path would work...

Problem: To get a red key for the left half I need to go through a door that takes two green keys (and gives one back). Either way I'm spending a green key.

It doesn't matter how high on the flagpole you grab, the flag always needs to go all the way to the bottom.

Level 9 appears to be impossible, unless I'm missing something... Start (what you can get immediately with no losses): 1G 1Y 1B Gate A: 1Y in 1B out Gate B: 1B in 1G 1Y out Gate C: 1G in 1Y out Gate D: 1Y in 1B out (unlocks Gate E) Gate E: 1G in 2Y 1B out Gate F: 1R in 1Y out Gate G: 2G in 2R 1G out To next area: 1R or 1G in 1G 1Y out Gate H: 1R in 2B out Gate I: 1Y in 2B out Gate J: 1Y in 1B 1G out Gate K: 2G in 2G 1B out Gate L: 1Y in 1R out (gates that gave the same key as their door weren't counted, nor was the long one) Going by this: Gate B. 2G 2Y Gate G. 1G 2Y 2R Next area. 2G 3Y 1R Gate J. 3G 2Y 1B 1R Gate K. 3G 2Y 2B 1R All gates with green key profit have been taken! 3G out of 4G neccesary to reach the exit. Now what?

Yes, but it's a hack to aid in showing off how quickly the game can be completed. It's 100% beneficial for TASing, in my opinion.

I don't think there's a limit on how many ducks you can have, but I've never experimented much with it. I think the person with the high score for Wetrix filled half the board with ducks...well, keep in mind that you may be able to pack them closer together by use of lower pieces to thin the walls to one unit wide. And, yes, you'll want a rainbow whenever you drain your main pool. Other then that, strike the optimal ratio between ducks and the main pool's size (factoring in how much time it'll take if it's an issue).

I've played the PC version of this and I absolutely love it. I'd love to see a TAS of this that goes to a certain score as quickly as possible...10 million? 100? 1 billion? Or, say, it could end as level ten starts. Out of curiousity, are there any differences in gameplay between the PC and N64 versions? I figure the major point would be to figure out a balance between ducky pools and the main one. And don't forget to leave a platform in the center of the main water body to stop ice.

IMO a Sim City movie should be measured in how many months it takes to accomplish the goal, not real time.

Patashu is the phonetic spelling of Patechoux (the e has an acute accent, iirc), the french word meaning 'soft pastry'. It was the name of a cat I had in my youth and I picked up on the phonetic spelling before I learned how it was really spelled. It's a nice name, so, I use it.

Maybe after the first movie is done we can make a second one consisting of as much/as many zerg rushes/ing as possible.

Maybe once we get some good quantum supercomputers invented we can uber brute-force TASes.

Doesn't Kirby have some sort of infinite aerial attack z-cancelling combo? You should think about asking on www.gamefaqs.com's SSB form for the best combos when executed perfectly. Speaking of which, this would be an awesome game for entertainment runs. 5-stock 3 level 9 CPU opponents on a team against you in cool and intresting ways. (Or maybe just one?)

Jigglypuff had Rest in SSB and it worked like it did in SSBM? If so that'd the the fastest way but, unfortunately, she's an unlockable.

Yes it will. Look at the current movie. Luck manipulation: -Can cause any move to hit and critical -Can cause any opponent's move to miss, even if it's a never-miss move like swift As long as you can do damage you can beat anything in a TAS.

It wouldn't neccesarily be bad, just in need of more luck manipulation then the other two.
