It's a DOS game, so here is a more appropriate wishlist for it. I watched the video, and this looks like it'd make a really interesting TAS! Of course, it would be a labour of love to make.

If a TAS uses a certain RAM initialization, it should be fully disclosed in the description. Then users and judges can decide if 'Seems reasonable enough' or 'lol no, put the cosmic rays away'

You'd think so, but return oriented programming is as strong a programming model as the original program (e.g. arbitrary execution is possible) and has been used to get root access in a lot of real life programs.
