I wanted to watch the current 0 star WR TAS again, but I can't find it. I remember someone posting it here earlier I think, but I've gone back like 20 pages now and I can't find it. Anyone able to help?

I loled at TASEditor's and packer's convo. Dude, he'd have definitely wrecked you if he thought of opening boxes and getting the stars on the way back, anything but those worthless 4 frames.
EDIT: May I highlight the best stuff

But do I really need to used shitpen64?
>shitpen64

mupen64 is clearly designed for mario 64 lmao, it requires less hardware and Biz has some minor stuff that I find annoying. Save stating, frame advancing are slower, and also you can't move analog stick while save stating (multitasking m8)
Please tell me why mupen is shit (for Mario 64), and what tool you need .-.

Hey, since you people seem to have interest analyzing the game, are there any ways to skip the 70 star endless stairs without being at very high speeds? Even if it needs cheats, at least knowing whether or not its possible may eventually lead to something.
I don't think so, but why are you asking? It doesn't really matter anyway
It could make ABC any% a lot faster? Only 50 stars needed.
Ohhhh I thought in general, not without pressing A.
Still, I don't know. in general, I doubt it. ABC, I very hardly doubt it. But crazy tricks come up all the time, so who knows?

By the way I don't know how most of glitches work in SM64 but I guess there is one call VSC ? Basically you can store your vertical speed and release it I don't know how...
Would it be possible to do a big VSC on the stairs where there is the 50 stars door and release it close to WDW to enter at the highest water level ?
Mhmmm I doubt that's the way to go
Problem 1: You can "release" the VSC only if you leave a platform, or if you like it better, only if you get in the air. In the 2nd floor of the castle, if we VSC on the stairs, I'd have no idea of how to get in air.
Problem 2: You can store a "big (positive) VSC" in 2 ways: Either by using lava or by doing a tall bounce from a ZB that "cancels" into a step of the 50 star door stairs.
Lava way: You don't have lava lol
ZB way: I don't think you can store a amount of vertical speed big enough
EDIT: The max I can store with ZB bounce is 15 lol, it's even less than the 26 VS stored from a DR
