Bisqwit must have really low expectations, because he gave a star to something that doesn't even exist! EDIT: Somebody fixed it. :(

The "Votes" column ignores "Meh" votes. AFAIK, it has always been like that.

I think Simon Belmont would be more likely, but it's a moot point considering how similar most of the Belmonts are.

I still think that "Do not go up the infinite staircase until you have 70 stars" would be a better idea.

So what if I played the game before? Does it automatically disqualify me from presenting an opinion on it? I find the movie entertaining to watch. (There are other games that I have not played that I found enjoyable, by the way, if you are trying to inflict some sort of bias that isn't there in my statement, so your argument further fails.)
Opinions from both people who have and have not played the game are vital when judging the technical quality and entertainment value of a movie for many reasons. People who have played 'the game' tend to like well-played runs of it even if said game is patently boring by any other standard (case and point). I agree that it is possible to like runs of games that one has not played, but I think that the entertainment value is the result of the game itself (music, graphics, accessiblity, etc). I can think of several runs that fit into that category off of the top of my head.

Awesome. If it weren't for the crappy music, I'd suggest that this run should also obsolete the NES run.

The star per minute ratio is worse than the old run. Voting no. ;)

Ron was just making random hissing noises.

The ending would have been much better if Harry crossed the pieces of his broken wand and yelled something like "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLS YOU, VOLDEMORT!"

I honestly forget how I came here, but I do remember seeing Morimoto's SMB3 run back when it was "new". I also remember learning how the videos were made shortly afterwards. If my profile is to be trusted, I joined here in late 2004, which is shortly after I joined M2K2. I probably lurked a few months before joining.

That doesn't stop it from being a flagrant violation of copyright. Didn't you know that distributing music for free is illegal?

"This movie completes an arbitrary challenge popular with people that play the game/series/genre." e.g. CCC, mega buster only, pacifist, ect. May need some rewording. :P

Chronologically speaking, this is the fourth game in the series (if you ignore Operation C).
