Voting yes because the Power Bombs don't cause any lag. Voting no because this site can't handle non-laggy Power Bombs.

Most RPG world maps adhere to the Law of Cartographical Elegance, meaning that the worlds could be projected onto a sphere without much worry. It's just that the programmers were too lazy to bother making it spherical. Of course, there are a few cases where the world map is blatantly toridal: Pictured: Final Fantasy 2 (J)

The author finally got around to uploading both parts of the movie to YouTube (Part 1 - Part 2), and I must say it's very impressive. It's definitely a publishable run in terms of technical quality and as a TAS of a hack.

I only watched the first part on YouTube so far (and some of your other TASes), but (having played the hack) I must say the route planning and optimization looks rather good. On a technical level, this run was definitely publishable. Unfortunately, even though I enjoyed what I saw, the rest of the audience here didn't like this hack. If you want to get a run published here, you should listen to the suggestions the other users here have given.

There actually is a TAS of Redesign, though Saturn didn't submit it.
It hasn't been submitted because it isn't done yet. He still has the remaining 20 bajillion minutes of the escape sequence to do.

It's a clip of a one stage homebrew game made a few years ago. Here's some better footage of it.

Watched it all with no fast forward. Loved every minute of it. Some of those shots are just crazy. Yes vote.

Here's a Windows TASing application currently in development.

I voted for AngerFist. His name angers me. Especially my fist.

I enjoyed watching it, so I vote yes. Anyways, as far as TASable Lynx games go, how about Todd's Adventures in Slime World? I've heard that it's considered the best game on the platform.

I'm confused. Could you try making a flowchart so my simple brain can understand it?

I was just going to send him my collection of levels, but looking back on them I realized that many of them aren't very good/balanced. Now I'm attempting to polish some of the better/more salvageable ones, but that's taking me longer than I expected.

There's a game on Gameboy called the 4-in-1 funpack. It includes Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, and Reversi (Othello). The Chess engine is Sargon, which acts really stupid in that pack for some reason.
That reminds me of an LCD checkers game I played. Occasionally the game would forget that jumping is required for a match (for reasons I couldn't figure out). When this occurred, my strategy was leave my back row in place (to prevent the computer from promoting its pieces) and sneak a piece behind all of the enemy's pieces. I would then have this piece mill around back there whilst the enemy pieces would move forward until they had no valid moves left, thus meaning I was the winner. My memory is a bit foggy (it's been months), but I seem to recall using this method to win a match without losing any of my own pieces and without capturing any of the opponent's pieces.

Now that all of our emulators have fancy lag counters (living in The Future is nice!), can somebody answer my previous question?

The Super Guide and Super Skills videos are not tool-assisted in any form. They were made by the players in the Super Mario Club (Nintendo's QA team) by playing the levels over and over until they got it right. Some of the testers wanted to fix things manually (ie hex-edit) when changes in the level design resulted in desyncs, but Tezuka-san refused to let them do so. Source

I only got 4 on my first try. :( Then I limited it to games before 1989 (before I was born!) and got like 34 points. Granted, I ended up guessing half the time (though at least those guesses were somewhat educated). I guess can't really consider myself an arcade connoisseur. Now if this was a quiz on NES or SNES games...

Poor lad Nineko. Whatever happened to him?
He made some very erratic decisions regarding his Puzzle de Pon submission (starting about here), which eventually led to him locking himself out of his own account and being banned. I'm not entirely sure what he was trying to do in that thread, but I'm pretty sure it was related to the fact that the thread had over 15k views.* Your guess is as good as mine as to why that's the case. * For comparison, that's more views than the discussion thread for Saturn's rejected 14% Super Metroid run, which is 14-pages long (much of it being a flamewar/debate).
