This I believe leads to sound desyncs when you compress the avi a second time.
Actually I thought this was a bug with the way it saves the audio to a file. If the game uses multiple sample rates etc for sounds, I was led to believe this caused an A-V desync..

Why do you put so much stuff in sandwiches? One slice of Leerdammer/other similar nutty holey cheese Two slices of honey-roast ham Simplicity is good.
Because when it comes to summer, I want my sandwiches to be an awesome blend of taste and refreshment, as well as keep me going for most of the day. While I agree that simplicity is good, complexity and the right balance of ingredients is only harder, not worse.

I doubt very much it said that before it was completed. Make sure you're saving it somewhere you want it (or in Vista with UAC, somewhere that you have privilages for such as your User folder) and if it happens again, screenshot it.

Today I made the best sandwich ever. Toast Slice 3 Olive Spread Red Chillies German Peppered Salami Mayonnaise Toast Slice 2 Lettuce American Fried Wafer Thin Chicken Cheese Olive Spread Toast Slice 1 It tastes hot, but cool. Tangy, but mellow. Soft, but crispy. This, ladies and gentlemen, is my ideal sandwich. Any additional suggestions will be taken on board for the next version. I'm thinking bacon...

My setup has changed slightly since the last time I posted a picture, so I thought I'd post some new ones. All of the below are pretty much identical, except each one shows one of three wallpaper sets I use. Enjoy. WARNING: VERY large (dimensions) files below. We're talking 4384x1050. Kirby Fortress 2/The Man Who Can/Pandaren Samus Set Portal Set png files of the above are available also in the same web folder.

Just in cas you don't know, the speed demo Archive has a 100% speedrun. here it is: http://speeddemosarchive.com/MajorasMask.html#100p and here are the rules that were used: http://speeddemosarchive.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=consoles_newer;action=display;num=1118613852
Please ignore Comicalflop. While we thank you for trying to help, we are very much aware of the 100% run on SDA (and personally I think it's a high quality run).

Please submit this when it is done. So far the quality has been excellent. I personally will vote yes if this level of quality is maintained and it provides sufficient new material vs the other published run. cappin compost: please check my PM regarding your profile picture. :)

Are you really that certain it will be done in such a short space of time? I'll of course take your word for it, I'm just under the impression that both a working win32 version and rerecording is a somewhat distant goal compared to current versions..

I've been through many unoriginal, boring nicknames which I won't even mention but the one used here is one of the more unique. It arised from talk of getting a nickname and a couple of friends talking about CAD comic. One thought I looked a bit like Scott, and the other thought I had a somewhat eccentric personality close to Ethans. SCott, ethAN. Scan. It fit my somewhat computer-centric lifestyle, so it keeps with me for most things 'locally'. Unfortunately, using such a common word on the internet and remaining unique is borderline impossible, so I dabbled with prefixes (sizes, elements, etc.) and eventually picked Raiscan. More recently the alterations of my nickname (Ricecan, Ricecake) have made it into other chat-rooms and on occasion real life.

AA and AF usually don't usually desync the game. It's more likely you changed something in advanced settings, or in the ROM Settings area you changed one of the settings from its default (Changing one of them to Clear/Render can cause desyncs really easily).

I think he meant that some options/switches have been changed since older versions (such as the motion estimation option, which I believe was a number and is now letters, or vice versa)

Dear Bisqwit, Are there any questions you frequently ask yourself (or any specific kind of questions)? Are there any questions to which you don't know the answer, but one day hope to find out?

Perhaps you should read today's comic for an 'unhappy' avatar. It kinda works more..

This isn't a mupen64 question in any way, but I shall answer it for your benefit. In future, please check where you're posting things (even if your movie is infact from mupen, the question itself is nothing to do with it). x264 is an encoder, NOT a decoder. To decode h264, you need something else such as ffdshow. Then things should work properly.
