I know one of them is Star Wars Battlefront 2. It would have been far less annoying for you to just tell us the names of them all. Doing so would save valuble time I could otherwise be spending watching a blank screen or planning what to eat for dinner. Edit because of an edit.

Voting yes for the following reasons: 1. Extremely entertaining. 2. Is a concept I thoroughly enjoy. 3. Due to AKA's Post and Newton's third law of motion.

So I downloaded the newest version of Mupen in Nitsuja's topic, but whenever I load a ROM, it crashes. No matter which ROM I load! I've never had this problem before, but I also had an older version of Mupen, so I figured I'll download it.
Its either one of the following: 1. Did you put the new mupen in the same folder as the old mupen? That might cause problems. 2. Try other plugins. if the graphics plugin is an OpenGL plugin (glN64) try a DirectX plugin (Jabo) and vice versa.

And then there will be delicious and moist cake. I used to play UT, UT2k3, UT2k4 and thats about it. I played the UT3 demo and thought it was the same old stuff. I've played HL2 and all the HL2 Episodes, along with Portal. I have yet to try Team Fortress 2.

funguy10 + DeHackEd + Bisqwit... hmmm... DeFunkwit. Feel free to try different mixes of funguy10 and DeHackEd to produce profanity if you wish.

I'm sorry. You fail. This is a topic for desktop screenshots (or wallpapers, though theres actually a topic for that too). What you posted was... neither. Perhaps you should start a random pictures thread and hope noone flames you for it, or better yet look if one has existed in the past.

http://www.bluetoaster.net/tasvideos/plugins.html Try Rice, then work your way down. I think Jabo 1.6 (D3D8) handles Majora's Mask the best, but you never know.

Think about it. He says "It's-ah me, Mario" at the start of the game. He clearly adds the likes of "ah"s and "eh"s to the ends of words. It's obviously "So long-eh, Bowser".
Logically, that would make sense. Unfortunately, logic cannot be applied in this case. I did some research on the matter a while back during a boring rainy day, and found that it was 'King', and not 'eh' or 'me Bowser!'. Disappointing, but truthful. I apoligise for continuing this discussion, but this is a Mario 64 thread. At least we're not talking about some other random game. :)

Its "So long, king Bowser!". You may think I'm wrong (I don't care what you think) but this is what was said.

How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
Zero. The answer is in the question which itself is flawed. The question asks "how many roads must a man walk down". This means that the person has already gained the status of "man", and is being called such, therefore he does not require a journey down any roads. He already has the status of "man". I won't try to recover this response with a question to Bisqwit, and I'm sure he won't be disappointed in my refraining from doing so.

Declining to answer that.
What is/are your favourite: 1. Individual avatar(s)? 2. Moodset avatar(s)? (optional)3. Avatar in the past that is no longer used? Why do you feel this way about said avatar(s)?

I don't like those. I'm mostly concerned with the tone of language, not with the words themselves. (Though in most cases, the selection of words affects the appearance of the tone of the message.) And an automate cannot determine the tone.
It is possible. Perhaps you meant "not easily determine the tone". False positives would be very likely due to the nature of a forum. (That, and JXQ's lovely bouts of sarcasm would likely throw the censorbot off to the point that it just censors everything he says... of course I'm sure it'd be considered 'unintentional behavior'.)

Sorry to derail the thread moreso, but if you are that concerned about language, you could always include some sort of hocus pocus miracle censorer. Extra effort perhaps, but the end result will likely be what you desire. And if you suggest just warning of individuals, you might consider the above case where you missed a stronger offence but caught a lesser one, making it seem like some sort of favouritism. A good ol' censorer doesn't have favourites. It only has asterisks.

This is what I meant by the Knuckles-on-Sonic quest. You play as many levels as possible using Knuckles in Sonic's areas, activating Debug only to zip to the start of the area (or in some unavoidable cases, moving through walls obstructing the path).

Is there bad English in that sentence? I see that I should have written "quit", not "quitted" (irregular verbs again), but is the sentence structure that bad? I don't see a problem. Nevertheless, I'll try to reformulate: > Nobody, who only reads the forums, knew that you had quit.
Heres how I would have written it. This doesn't mean I'm right, only how I would write it: >>Anyone who only reads the forums will not have known you have quit. This might work too: >>Nobody, who reads anything but the forums, will have known you have quit. And possibly without commas: >Nobody who reads anything but the forums will have known you have quit.

This is quite easily possible by using a web interface (uTorrent has one), but theres a few things to consider: 1. Bandwidth limit on the actual PC you're downloading with 2. College might end up limiting your bandwidth in the end anyway 3. Source PC would probably require a good upload for large files. Probably not going to get that on a home connection.

As a recent new resident of a University, I've managed to both limit the blow to my downloads (and uploads), and keep it relatively stable. That said, its important to know that you can't beat the admins. Usually colleges and universities have very knowledgable admins that know exactly what students what to do, and how to stop them if they know the network won't be able to take it. The university I'm at is quite simple with networking. They give you lots of bandwidth, which you're free to toss about. However, after you've burned it up (around 20gb or so iirc) they start shaping your traffic quite vigorously. Leaving it for a while means your quota slowly 'recharges', and you can surf at high speeds once its up to a certain level. Maintaining a level of high-speed downloading will make the system automatically throttle you again. Solutions? Well in my case, not many. I'm unsure if theres a specific torrent shaping, but in your case you can try the following: 1. High port range. 6881-6889 is not recommended, and will likely be limited by a huge amount. go for a randomly high port range like which is somewhere around 44000 (give or take anywhere in a range of 10000, for example it could be 37926). 2. If using uTorrent, try disabling uPnP and NAT-PMP port forwarding. These probably won't work anyway, so theres no point having them on. 3. If using uTorrent, Preferences --> Bittorrent--> Protocol encryption. Set to forced. I think this limits compatibility with other clients, but at least the college will have a harder time working out what kind of connection you're making. I also unchecked Legacy connections. Not sure if that helps or not. Failing that, I'm not sure what else to suggest. Aquire a ROM (which we can't help with), emulator and movie file perhaps? You say you're trying Majora's Mask, so that in itself is going to be a large task to get working I guess..

How about games that take freakishly high amounts of precision, like Lunar Pool, Mario Golf 64, or Arkanoid? For these, everyone would work on level 1, then the fastest is taken, then level 2, etc.
The fastest time acheived isn't always the best possible result.

I would just like to personally say how delighted I would be to see such an "Open Source" or Community TAS being worked on (and of course, completed). In concept it sounds great, but I'm unsure if complications will arise in practice. For example, how would you all work at the same time? If you decide to hex edit it all together, what about games that hate hex editing? How would you overcome this? Edit: Unless you do what was suggested above and everyone try to TAS a level at the same time and stick with the best one, along with sharing each others findings. That would work well I guess.

I disagree with the fun. It would have to be some craaazy antics and some diabolical tails-punishing-schemes for it to be entertaining. Perhaps showing some cool things off like the Knuckles-on-Sonic quest (or vice versa) would be a good idea for something like that.
