Interestingly, You corrected me by referring to the right gender, since in the original version she is not a that strange robot, but a creepy woman
Comparison time! USA/EUR Nasty Gatekeeper Japanese Nasty Gatekeeper (Izayoi) I know which one I find scarier.

I still could find a way to speed up Headdy: Shoot the floor diagonally, when landing (seems not to work when rising), and stop pushing right, when he reached the triple speed to maintain the speed. After some 3 frames you can jump to perform the trick at the next landing.
Could that be used in earlier/later levels to save time at all? The Nasty Gatekeeper battle made me laugh by the way. It usually takes me ages to get her down, but to see you do it in just a few shots was awesome.

Just watched it. That was very impressive. Theres only one thing that caught my eye and its not even speed related. The tunnel area where you just fly through without killing everything is fine, but it was a tad boring. Might have been more amusing if you destroyed nearly everything in sight, but its not important at all. Great job!

Are you so sure about that? Or is this just a PC specific thing? Because I'm pretty sure using the same settings as the person who made it yields higher success rates than just picking Rice for everything. Slightly more on topic, I look forward to the next WIP you post Mukki.

Even though my settings are screwed up from trying to get Yoshi Story to work (Thanks Raiscan! ^^) I was able to watch from beginning to end.
You could always... you know... delete your Rice.ini file and start from scratch. OR heres a wild idea! Use the plugin that it was created in! Wow! Just a thought.

you mean N-Rage? Jabo is video/sound plugin, not an input plugin.

Just tested Mario Party 3(.z64), strangely enough, it runs fine normally but whenever you record a movie Mupen freezes.
I shall test this in a few hours.

There wasn't any lag but the fire egg switch just didn't work so it can't be completed.
Damn, thats a real shame, because otherwise the game looks relatively in working order. I'm disappointed about that.

Were someone to do a run which has the goal 'Fastest time to obtain all 151 pokéman and defeat the Elite Four', it would no doubt be at least an hour or so longer than this run will be. I think that such a run would begin to drag on towards the end.
I agree with this. The certificate is an ending of the game. No need to make the run longer than it needs to be. I like it so far by the way. I was a bit suprised by the wild jigglypuff and all the failed hits by the enemy. I look forward to your next WIP. Please keep up the good work.

added Tetrisphere, StarCraft 64, and Command & Conquer. Not sure about recommended plugins for each, as I haven't tested them yet.
I thought the whole point of the list was to test TASablility, Recommended plugins, etc...

I hope you don't mind, but I've already done it using tags. Added tags to (nearly) every N64 game with a seperate page giving their ability to be TASed or not. I also added a short explaination to the index page and a page with a more detailed description of each. Quite a few of them are 'tas.maybe' at the moment, most of which are the result of no "TASable?" info on the page.

Might I suggest a way of distinguishing games that are already TASed, ones that are TASable, ones with desyncing and ones that are unplayable? Maybe different pages, or colour coding on the main list? Or are we just hoping someone will search for their favourite game and get stuck in?

I always use jabo first, it's the most likely to work correctly.
Its also the plugin that isn't multiplatform (uses DirectX) and does not sync correctly with all the other plugins. glN64, Glide64, Rice's Video Plugin (OpenGL mode) all sync up quite well together. Jabo only syncs for Jabo for quite a few games. Just a heads up to be careful when using it. On a side note, my glN64 problems seem to be related to my graphics card specifically (Radeon X1900 XTX). If anyone has experience with glN64, theres some pictures of my problems at http://www.bluetoaster.net/mupen/.

Nvm, I fixed my problem by using the opengl setting in Rice (not the dreaded DirectX). Synced up nicely. Looking good so far. I only wish that the super sliding into the elevator as it goes down in the cutscene was faster than what you did instead :)

Desyncs for me with Rice's plugin hookshotting up to the forest temple (you miss). I would try with gln64, but it fails to display textures for me.

Well I WAS going to use gln64, but it appears my OoT/MM problems with it seems to extend to alot of other games. I'll have to test with another plugin (though which one, I'm not exactly sure.)

Okay. I'll test a dozen or so games using the default gln64 plugin for the following: 1. Graphical/sound glitches. 2. Desyncs. I'll play through a bit of the game a few times with recording on and play it back to see the results. I may also try playing back with different plugins to see the results, who knows. 3. Any other emulation errors that afftect the gameplay. 4. Any minor bugs that should be noted. I'll make a table of my results and shove it on my hosting. If you would prefer I test something else or test something in a different way, otherwise I will start testing in a couple of hours.

I'd be happy to help out in any way needed, such as testing certain games with plugins or just giving some basic information on the plugins themselves.
