I think I win. It started with me waking up in Pallet town. I wandered over to Oaks lab, and picked up a pokeball. ( I picked Charmander). Suddenly, I was sucked into a Poke ball. From here, it goes trippy really fast. Hang on. I woke up in Geometry land, and I had a giant toothpick attached to my hand. Did I mention that it was all changing colours? Just to speed things along, I wandered along from the perspective of SMB. I ended and dueled Chamale and stabbed him in the face. The End.

Rridgway, I think you're a dummy. Here are some reasons. You are friends with Chamale (or at least were when you showed up), and Chamale is a dummy. Things you say like found here and this entire topic make me think you are a stupid person. There are also other things you have said that make me think you are stupid if you would like me to go find them. Your name starts with two r's, and looks like a typo of Ridgeway (whatever that is, if anything), and somehow ended up getting associated with Rrrrridge Raceerrr~~~!!! which is dumb, and makes you dumb by association. Also, and this is REALLY REALLY important (REALLY), you are Canadian. That's like, -500 points right there. I can't say why other people think you are ...something, but that's some of the reasons that come to mind for me. And yes, because I think little of you, I will think little of your runs by association. This is unfortunate, but I don't really see an easy solution.
Allow me to address this. My last name is ridgway, and my first name starts with a R. Get the connection? I was 11 when I wrote those. I'm 15 now. Major difference in maturity levels. Chamale is a friend, but I shouldn't be looked down upon because of who I know. Who started that Riiiidge Racer thing anyway? Well, we'll see about that. I just need to submit a good run. A really good run. Would that work?

I hope so. It may have happened accidentaly, but the attitude in posts even a year ago were with much less elitism than they are now. Perhaps in our search for perfection, we've become too perfect? If you didn't jump on in 06 and beyond, there is very little left to actually TAS and hope to get published. I know that i'm considered to be ....something here. I'm not sure what. But, because of the opinion of me, I think that it might get shot down just because i'm me. Because of this, I think it doesn't matter how fast, it also matters who made the TAS. Let the discussion commence on the fixing of this. On the actual topic front: I am slowing trying to put together Wario Land 3, which I think is one of the last really large games non-tased. (Its mine!) ...My 2 cents.

Yeah, "Anti-TAS me!" That works better. Just to reply to NrgSpoon, I had my family look at it and pixels per second makes more sense.

So would I. Non-TASers could just try and get as far as they could if they couldn't finish. Perhaps members who try but can't complete a normal TAS (such as myself) should use thissort of thing as a sort of tutorial for a normal TAS? P.S. I beat andymac to the first mspaint avatar.

There are physical differences between all creatures, but all creatures except humans are mentally pretty much equal. [1] So that is what sets us apart. The mental/spiritual differences. [2] And the results of that difference you can of course see everywhere around us, even right in front of you.
1. No, they're not all stupid. What science said 30 years ago no longer applies. Ta Da! 2. Strictly speaking, we cannot determine if animals have souls or not, we just assume mankind is "special".

I'm sure someone will be able to provide a solid counter-argument... but I like to think of the ability to act other than what natural instinct tells
What are our natural instincts?

Biologically, not a whole not. If you want to stop there, do so. In the bigger picture, God created the human distinctly from the rest of the creation, and has continued to treat us specially from ever since.[1]
I love the preferential treatment.

If God is a "he" (hence "Father"), how did he create two genders? Doesn't that imply that god is transexual and could be referred to by he or she?[

You can't say that preserving our species is the purpose of life because it doesn't answer what the purpose of preserving our species is. I wouldn't even agree that humans are 'species' though. We are very distinct from animals.
What defining traits set us apart from animals? Our brain isn't the largest, we aren't the best runners or jumpers, all we have is the ability to use what we have very well. Note: I am not talking about our emotional aspects, such as language and emotions, although our regional annotations (accents) are not exclusive to us.

Wow, the 34th page seems to be a barrier for religous talk. There is a purpose for preserving our genes, preserving them to reproduce another day. If we didn't reproduce, our species would end.

Just to point something out, the search button makes it look like the top right text box beside it is for searching when it is for passwords?

How about this? We just assume its fake until something proves us wrong. If anything, it will stop that up there. Thanks Sephiroth. I was just wondering, is the credits sequence actually shorter that the gameplay in the latest AVI? Bittorrents been out so I can't download it yet for converting to my ipod.

Not to reference the first post, but I disagree with the Pokemon Blue run score. The pokemon faint, not die. Also, does it include cut trees as kills?

I find you dont have to have played Portal, ( It does help), but you just need to listen to the Still Alive by GLADoS, and seen the ending of Portal. My little sister for example, enjoyed it quite a bit.
