One small six-frame criticism, When you roll into a loading zone, such as a doorway, you can sometimes save a bit of time by starting a backflip at the fastest part of the roll because you keep a constant speed while winding up for a backflip. I notice that you have not been doing this.
Why you don't say that before :P Well maybe V2 someone use that trick but I don't. I use a diffrent way to go loading zones and doors middle of the movie :o

I don't know anything about the layout of, well, anything in this game, but I think he's suggesting you get that jiggy when you use the cauldron to help you get into CCW.
Yes! CCW "painting" is close to TTC so with that cauldron I can get back quickly.

Yeah that's not really my point though, the only point to activating that cauldron is if you're going to use it later on. If you do use it, you'll pass right by the eyes jiggy, which would save backtracking after CC by putting it off until later in the run.
Yes i need that cauldron to activate final stage. Now i don't understand you...How i can save bactracking :o I can't push those eyes before CC :O

http://tas.monotoli.org/index.php?path=mov%2Fbk/ It's 85 MB. I didn't expect it to be that big; I used the same quality settings as I do for my normal Majora's mask encodes since it's been a while. I guess +50% framerate and jerkier motion don't help. Anyway, it seems most of you got it working fine without the video. I'll make a smaller version shortly and put it up when it's ready. I watched and it really looked great! One thing I wondered is if it was possible to shoot an egg to alligator 2 from another alcove rather than right next to it.
I shoot that first alligator far as possible. Those other ones, thats not possible :P

This whole argument is getting offtopic. I love the run so far, the one thing I'm wondering about is that you immediately backtrack after Clanker's Cavern to grab the Jiggy from the eyes in the lair. There's also a point where you activate the warp cauldron for later use. Wouldn't you pass by that point in the lair later on so you don't have to spend time backtracking after clankers? Or did I miss something?
Clanker's Cavern witch switch activate that "eye jiggy" And that claudron is my way to the Treasure Trove Cove. Yes its possible do before CC or after it but I use before TTC.

Yes you can make a video. Bubblegloop Swamp is finished. I can't get Tiptup's songs better. I think manipulating is good. There is no too much running turtle to turtle and yellow one starts first. Im moving to the next levels :D

I'll propose you guys won't make savestate when stage ends. Make savestate when stage starts. When stage is complete finished, then make savestate in the end of level. Clear enough :D

No. Tompa is right here, no questions asked. The duty of the runner is to make the movie, he has no obligation whatsoever to make savestates just for you. I'm sorry, but WIP watching is not about having everything catered to your needs. If that's what you think, then you're dreadfully wrong. As for the movie, I liked it a lot. I didn't mind the biting to walk faster thing, it was kinda funny. The deathwarp was also good, I don't know why you didn't do this in earlier levels.
There is no chance use deathwarp in earlier levels. Mumbo's Mountain, final notes is close to the level exit plate. Treasure Trove Cove, Sandcastle Jiggy + Notes is close to the exit plate. Clanker's Cavern, hmm it takes some time to drown... if i remember correctly, Banjo's oxygen was half when I enter the ground so no faster :P And Bubblegloop Swamp is complete. I tested Tiptup's songs again and I can't get that better. So its complete!
*Tries to remember level order* Freezezy Peak next? (however you spell it). Do you have any more time before you go back to school/college/whatever it is that you do?
My school continues tomorrow :P but I try make TAS much as possible. I don't next level yet. Next two levels are tricky ones. And those two are Freezeezy Peak and Gobi Valley

It's fastest to kill those gold frogs with wonderwing. It takes least two hits any other movements. In the middle of the huts, there is a Mumbo token. And I saved time by farting the egg and flying to the next hut before the animation starts. Tiptup's songs was really aful to manipulate. Singing order was always really bad...This is the best I can get. I take off the wading boots when I was in the button because button was close the pirahna waterline. Wading boots caceling takes time and you have to roll or walk to the button. Now I can immediately press the button after caceling the boots. I tetsted that wallhugging thing when I take the first Jiggy and it wont work. But...well I remake littlebit...try manipulate Tiptup's songs more :P

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1931347343/Banjo-Kazooie-TAS-Sami-%28USA%29.m64 Game clock time is 12.23 Route is same than marshmallow's speedrun. You can't change the route because those golden crocodiles appear always in same order. I take hits to save time and use death as a shortcut. Biting is lot faster as normal walking when Banjo is a crocodile. It sounds aful but :D That last message canceling inside giant turtle is not mistake. With that I get yellow turtle start first. And I hate those places where camera angle change automaticly. Hard to get walking angles right :D Edit: One more thing: When I collect note 96, after that I make little turn. With that I can manipulate that dragonfly close the final notes.

im too lazy to look through the forums, but how did u do that glitch where u go underneath the water really fast??
I'm not sure exactly where you're referring to, but I'm guessing it's the result of entering the water while also entering/exiting talon trot. Banjo is not supposed to be moving during this animation and when he enters the water the game doesn't make him start swimming until the animation ends, meaning that gravity has its normal effect in the meantime..
And when you are close to the water surface, release C and Z button. If you don't do that, glitch wont work :E
