Seems like solid enough feedback so far, but there's definitely still some discussion worth having... Not necessarily about this run itself, but the points that were brought up. Namely:
    1. The Brain Age comparison makes a lot of sense, it's sort of on the same level of artistic endeavor (just with much less of a canvas/toolset to work with) but it adds in the drawing recognition system to play around with. Mario Paint is limited on the actual game factor, but makes up for it in providing a much larger canvas and toolset that could potentially be used. Assuming sufficient optimization, could another, different submission of Mario Paint be actually entertaining enough without fully relying on meme value? Could THIS run, if it was redone with proper optimization, be enough to make it? 2. Maybe this is actually a good time to start the discussion on whether or not playaround runs need defined endings. I'm perfectly happy to start having that discussion. I think not requiring defined endings for playarounds would be a great positive change that would allow better pacing and more creativity for them, and may influence a lot more of them coming in as people wouldn't have to expend all of their creativity trying to make an entire game entertaining. 3. If relying on thread feedback isn't reliable... Maybe that's a sign that we need to figure out a new way of doing things. I feel like most of my job is just figuring out where to tier movies, and there almost always seems to be a huge discrepancy between submission thread voting and publication rating that, yeah, makes relying on any kind of feedback unreliable... And that's assuming that a run even GETS feedback in the first place. Rating/Voting complaints are pretty common on Discord, it really might be worth investigating how to fix them with the help of the community at large.

Imagine publishing Color a Dinosaur Simulator but not Color a Dinosaur. That would be legendary.
Funny story about that... It could happen. This run appears to be getting great feedback, and assuming that is all legitimate entertainment and not for the meme, there is actually a pretty significant change that this could be published as a playaround. For that reason, I'd like to get some non-AFD feedback on this run. To people that voted yes: Do you actually find the run entertaining, or did you just vote for the coloring of dinosaurs, as is site tradition? To people who haven't voted yet: Is this worthy of publication as a playaround, or is it just a site meme with only niche entertainment value? I'd personally lean towards publication here. There's a lot of creativity on display and it's definitely showcasing superhuman ability. Plus, if we don't get CAD published in some way, I feel like that's just our loss.

No joke, half of the rerecords of this movie are from me not realizing I could do that, and it was from about half of a single route. Needless to say, if I hadn't discovered that, this would've been a roughly 30 minute, slightly slower-paced run of a single ending.
Who is Not Girl?
Absence Of Girl would have been a more descriptive but less funny term, where the protagonist just doesn't end up with anyone.

Yeah and what happened to Taco Fridays, and why was it never Taco Tuesdays? The alliteration is right there! And we've never done anything on Tuesdays, so why did it have to be Friday? How does that make any sense whatsoever? We really could've just done Taco Tuesdays! Someone needs to come and explain this to me, I've been a member of this site for 15 12 years and I have never once in my life been able to come up with even a SHADOW of a reason for that decision!

This movie was flagged as console verified, but there doesn't seem to be a video attached, so I'm removing the flag. If a video exists or a new one is made, please post it in this thread and the flag will be re-added.

This is a thread for keeping our publications up-to-date with console verification flags and videos. Please post here with any of the following:
    * New verifications, as this ensures that there's a central location for them that can easily be referenced * Publications that already have console verifications but haven't been updated with them yet, so we can add the flag and the video * Publications with the flag that no longer have (or have never had) a verification video so we can remove the flag until a video is provided * Anything else publication-related that needs to be updated or fixed

To comment on the Mido-man "note" discussion: I agree with Arc, here. I don't really see a reason to consider that an essential part of the 100% definition. The "note", as far as I can understand, only changes a single piece of dialogue to help guide a first-time player in the right direction, as opposed to having an actual function or use in the overall game. Requiring things like that borders on Saturn territory where arbitrary decisions are made to go out of the way to collect things that are completely functionally useless in the long run and serve to do nothing more than just make the run "more 100%" when it doesn't need to be. Yes, I'm aware of how stupid that previous line sounds. Just because the "note" counts as a sword skill shouldn't really make a difference in how meaningful it is to the definition (there's no visual feedback of whether or not it even exists, unlike the actual sword skills), and saying it should count on account of "changing RAM permanently" is maybe the most dangerous possible precedent we could ever set for 100% runs. This would mean that all 100% RPG runs have to go out of their way to talk to any NPC that could ever change dialogue, whether it's theirs (i.e, talk to them once and they have something different to say afterward) or another's (i.e, this exact case), since it's exactly the same concept: A flag is set to change dialogue, which would persist on saving/loading.
