On it, I'll let you know how it goes... Looked into it, I actually recommended the wrong BIOS in the TAS submission notes. It should be SCPH5501 instead of SCPH5503... Try running it with the different BIOS, and let me know if it still desync's.

WHAT!? You're kidding me. I'm watching it back now and it's running fine... Maybe it's your ISO? Could you provide more info where it's desync'ing, what BIOS/ISO/Emulator you're using, etc.?

Spikestuff, saving is used because of a glitch in the game. By saving, quitting and then doing the Quidditch League, the game gets confused and spawns Hagrid in early, which not only saves having to learn all the spells, but also cuts about an hour off the run. I mention it in the "Quidditch League" section.
