I find it funny that McAfee is the ONLY one to think it's suspicious. (Can you tell I think McAfee is a worthless program?)

Problem: You're using McAfee. Solution: Get something better. I highly recommend the program CommonSense™. :P

For amusement, I wanted to see how long it would sync with the US version. You desync shortly after the wall zip in Block 1-2 and die right at the bone pillar right in the middle of the door. :)

Yeah, it's CTRL+Shift+Esc. CTRL+Alt+Esc = Start Menu. It's been that way pretty much since Windows 95, as an alternate way to get start with the keyboard for older systems that didn't have a windows key.

Damn, Northwall Act II was amazing. Great job. Can't wait to see the final product! Too bad none of my ideas for manipulating Kalia worked. Oh well.

Black is better, but for getting Sawk. You can pick it up before Gym 2 from Lv 12-17 (single grass) or Lv 14-19 (double grass). It can learn a rock and a dark type move via TM, so it can deal with its weaknesses. In the same area is a Pidove for your flyer. That's what we've been finding at SDA.

Seeing how GIFs have a 256 color limit (and the dithering is especially noticeable after just a few high color images), wouldn't it be wiser to use a Javascript powered slideshow? That way you could stop on a single image, and you wouldn't have the dithering problem.
You know you can make animated PNGs.

What version of VBA? It desyncs in 23.5 and doesn't get very far into Area 2. (Did you actually mix for Parasol in Area 1 or did the game desync that badly?) Edit: Guess I didn't wait the 20-30k frames worth of you sitting in a corner puffing until you get jumped somewhere else. -_-

After the defeat of Mother Brain and the apparent destruction of Zebes in Super Metroid, famous bounty hunter Samus Aran found herself caught in a time portal, where Planet Zebes tried to live its last memories before facing its ultimate destruction. Samus winds up in a world that is a culmination of all the events of Metroid Zero Mission, Super Metroid, and other memories lost in the very fabric of time. Or this is just a very good hack of Super Metroid. We'll let you decide the real truth.

Most of the instances on your link are fine. Banjo-Kazooie is the only one that I would argue with. Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Space Invaders, Mega Man? All fine. Those franchises have been around so long that 99.9% of gamers have probably heard of them.
Sure, I've heard of it, but I know next to nothing about the story line. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Well, stories that involve 2000 year time loops tend to have confusing stories.

Damn, that was slick as a grease monkey. Can't wait to see how you handle Solar Man, since it has a lot of vertical sections...and of course the Wily levels!

Overall, very nice. I'm still trying to think of a way to change the Kalia fight in Marana Act II, but I just can't think of anything solid. Is the only thing that manipulates his RNG is the frame of entry? Or does stuff like score and life have an effect on it?

After several Mega Man X Zero games, Capcom finally decided to give X a chance to be the star. Being the giddy little sugar filled robot that he is, he bounces like a hyper jackrabbit throughout the game. As he defeats all the bosses and Sigma once again, his OCD kicks in and he has to collect everything before finishing the game.

And though this is a little insane idea, if someone can put together a version of the emulator with Game Link support, we might be able to like, run Yellow in one window and Crystal in another, dual-TAS style.
Further, make it so that there's only one input (that's run in both games) and finish both games (preferably on the same frame) with that same input. Thus we end up with a dual TAS where the games actually interact with each other at points. That actually sounds like a terrific idea.
The only thing pretty much is how to get Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos, Girafarig, Remoraid, Octillery and Celebi (since the other ones not obtainable in Crystal you can get in Yellow).

A good resource for looking up how to forward ports on a router is http://portforward.com/ Just look up your router there and it'll give you info on how to forward ports for uTorrent. (The site does have a big full page advertisement now, just click on the skip advertisement link in the upper right). This site does have a ton of great info, so hopefully it'll help you with your issue.

If the in-game time w/ pauses removed wasn't so jarring, it wouldn't be so bad. I still favor real time, mainly cause I know that the lowest possible in-game time run would be this after 1 or 2 levels: half-second, pause, half-second, pause, half-second, pause... Realistically, you could probably get a lower real time run (for the first video if you paused once. I don't mind pausing. I just hate excessive pausing.
