I've been watching this eagle cam for the last few days. It's pretty amazing to get such a wonderful chance to see something so rare, as well as amazingly beautiful (yes, baby eagles are CUTE). If you haven't seen the stream, it's worth checking out once in a while at least, especially since there's two more eggs yet to hatch and one should hatch probably on the 3rd, but it could be anytime:

I'll give it a MEH. The game is kinda interested, but things did look a bit suboptimal. Especially considering you don't take damage much to save time until the last 2 levels. Then suddenly you make it a priority. Even if the damn beeper is annoying. ^^;;
Can't wait for Segu's pad input plugin to be gone. The thing doesn't work. Recognizes my controller on the input area, but when it comes to actual gameplay, nothing. Didn't have this problem with N-Rage.
Funny, I just came to the home page and in the Popular Movies section was the soon-to-be-obsoleted version of this. ^^;;
Voting YES for being too awesome.
I will encode this as HD.
Also, is this "best ending" category?
I would definitely consider it such, as you not only defeat the traitor of the game, but it's also the only ending that gives you GOOD JOB! at the end.
Voting YES because it's the only ending you get GOOD JOB, it has variety that you don't see in the Chase/Surrender or the Secret Ending runs, and it's well played.
GOOD JOB! See you next mission.
Ok, just so we're all clear. I mean, when you make your thread about PCSX and then rattle off "new emulator" in the first sentence, well... ^^;;
BTW, have you tried out the original RE? Does your ISO match the good dump info? Do you have problems with other games in those emulators?
YouTube user MDBrookman has a question for you, zidanax and dunnius.
"did you not realize you could enemy boost until later in the production of the run? I'm rewatching it and it seems that way. Just curious ^_^"
Despite the fact that they're doing it as early as Fillmore Act II?
Silly misinformed YouTube user.
I'm back at this again, after a long hiatus. I'm back on Retro 4, though I'm running into an issue there trying to figure out how the RNG works. It doesn't appear to be frame based, as I tried delaying actions between frogs and prior to the stage some frames and got the same randomness. I believe it's based upon button presses, but I'm not sure how to really manipulate things.
Until then, right now I'm getting stuck with a layout that gives me one frog that's a second slower. I did cut off a couple of seconds on some earlier levels. Will update the times later.
Current movie though Retro 3: http://www.imamyth.com/TAS/Frogger-v2/Frogger.pjm
I was talking about the level in general. The fast-moving ice block was one that I understood, though. Short of somehow getting a walljump glitch off with a projectile. The rest of it makes sense, though.
There's no other slope that would help in making Northwall any faster. Most of them are during the ice raft, which doesn't matter, since he has to wait. Several others are right next to low ceilings, which hitting that on a jump would slow down the fall, negating the accel. And the one at the beginning missed isn't needed since the little one immediately after that is used for the accel.
On bloodpoll action 2 on the boss, there were no way to stand on the same plataform as the boss? when you fight him again on last stage you sometimes goes on the same plataform as him right? it could save a few frames but sure I can be wrong, just would like to hear the explanation!
No, you always want to be on the platform/floor immediately below the boss. You also need to stop hitting after 12 hits, because when his HP gets below half, he changes to a werewolf, which costs a lot of time waiting for that transformation to finish.
The positioning doesn't matter, though for console runners, having the boss either on the first or second level platforms is the best, since it's very hard to hit him 12 times on the top platform (and impossible if he's on the floor, since he warps away very quickly - you can generally only get 2-3 hits when he's there).
- In the Northwall simulation, would it be possible to manipulate a Skull Head into causing an Earthquake and knocking the population down to avoid using the fleece? And if the animation is too long, could a Blue Dragon and its lightning do the same?
It would definitely take too much time to do that. Not to mention since it destroys all non-Lv 3 houses (and fields), it pretty much would wipe out the entire Northwall population. Since you need at least 8 people to seal a lair, he wouldn't be able to seal anything until a population growth. Given how few construction cycles there are, it's definitely faster to use the fleece and plow through.
