Um, aren't these X games prequels to the Zero series?
Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm WWT. (Working While Tired)

Thing is, if my memory serves me correctly, a lot of the good glitches/sequence breaks don't work in there, since they fixed scandashing.

Yeah, unfortunately the sequelprequel kinda sucks. But I think somebody could potentially make the sequelprequel interesting...if they tried.

This is a TAS of Zero 5
Technically, since this is a prequel to the Mega Man Zero series, I think this game should be called Zero Point 5. Good work. My only disappointment is on Ranga Badanga, but if you couldn't beat him faster, well, you can't beat him faster.

Are you going for an all-bosses run, or an any%, or what? I don't think beating Richter should be done in anything but an all-bosses run. If you just want to unlock a new mode for another movie, it's easy enough to make a movie solely for the purposes of unlocking that mode, and submit it with the movie that uses that mode.
Opinion seconded.

If he did take damage in Bloodpool Act II to go through the water at normal speed, he'd have to skip damage boosts elsewhere, since ended with no hits left for the boss. I'm sure there are other things I missed. But it was still impressive, even with its imperfections.

I got to watch that Actraiser Special Mode TAS. It was totally WTF, even knowing about that wall glitch. Casandra I, Casandra II, and Marana I bosses were handled extremely well. The only improvements I can see offhand: 1. Title screen (obviously). 2. Better luck on Bloodpool II boss (and refight) 3. Better luck on Northwall II boss refight 4. Slightly better handling on Satan, like facing to the left on the head for the 2nd half of that fight, and being closer during the attack on the body. Noticed he got progressively closer each round? If we had a choice between US Professional! and Japan Special modes, definitely Special has to be done, since it's harder. I'd rather see a trade in time for difficulty. Not like there's any story not to understand in this mode, huh?

Don't know why, but the MP4 screws up badly at about 3:04 in the recording. In fact, it screws up so bad, it causes Media Player Classic to crash. VLC doesn't fare much better. I'll try the MKV and see if I get better results. Edit: Yeah, the MKV is fine.

It's fast, enjoyable, and appears to be well thought out. And the ending was unexpected. I liked it. Therefore, I'm giving a YES vote.

Not to mentioned things there are generally overpriced. If you're in the US and know how (or know somebody who does) to build a computer, do so. Yes, there's even barebone laptops out there that people can use to build their own PCs. If you're looking to buy, the HP Pavilion dx6 is a very good laptop. Or look in the same series for even more powerful ones.

Fighting games never make for entertaining runs. In there, you have to go for style. Otherwise, you're just pulling off the same damn combo over and over. Not every run on our site goes for "best time", like a lot of people will believe. For proof, see all the Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and even Genisto's Super Mario 3 'glitchfest' run (http://tasvideos.org/Movies-C1010Y.html).

Initially, I was gonna question the choice in magic usage, especially on Zeppelin Wolf, since you can very easily get him in 2 rounds straight out attacking. But if the time saved there is more then using it on Arctic Wyvern, then go for it. So at about 54 minutes, you've beaten me by 13 minutes. Congrats. You've taken away my chance to say "I've beaten a TAS". It was a good 2 years, but it's nice to see ActRaiser get the TAS-style demolishing it deserves. Now you guys just need to do Special Mode on the Japanese version, since it's harder then the US one.

Looks good. Now get Death heim done and let's go home. :) Subtitles look good overall too. It'll be nice to help give people a bit of the REAL truth to Actraiser.

My favorite PSX game (and game overall) is Legend of Mana. You don't have to grind, it's got 3 great storylines (in one package), you can play it almost however you want, you've got great graphics, and you've got Yoko Shimomura. What more could you ask for?
