Risk I could actually see it being a somewhat good run, being that it involves strategy and luck-manipulation. Battleship would be a VERY bad choice, given your predetermined knowledge of where the computer's pieces lie wouldn't make the run fun. Clue would be kinda the same. You'd know "who, what, and where" right from the get-go. Risk, and Risk only from that trio.

Making a .torrent in uTorrent takes a grand total of about 30 seconds. Don't consider that a factor.

Who cares if it's boring? If it's as fast as possible, then that means it should be published, right?
Tell that to my Spy vs Spy run. :( I, however, think this is a notable game, it's not very long, and enough variety to keep things from getting too dull. I enjoyed it very much.

Well, there's a couple ways you can go about it right now. 1 - Continue on with the house in its doomsday location and be ready for fire when it arrives. 2 - Deal with a smaller soul count. BTW, out of curiosity, why do you build the road up, down, then back up? Why not down first then back up?

Warp (and probably everybody else for that matter), just ignore upthorn. He's just a old crank.
Who is this IMO guy? I keep hearing of him quite a lot.
Please tell me you're joking. >_>;;

I must say, that website of theirs (the translators) is the most horrible I've ever seen. It makes YTMND's look good. ^^;; (Not to mention the download link is screwed up. They put a slash in there backwards which prevents downloading unless you manually change the link.)

Well, it's tough to find a spot to trim, because you just have to allow for spawn time. The only suggestion I have is instead of moving up-left after you use lightning, move straight up instead, then turn to fire at the upper-left bat. I don't know if it'll make a difference, but you've already made a good start though.

I always liked Outrun, but was never very good at it. I was able to enjoy the game more because of this. I give this a YES vote. Well played. (As a note, if your game is labeled Outrun (W) [!], it will work with it.)

They fixed a lot of bugs in the GBA version, most notably the "extra crystal in the Dwarf Castle" glitch which allowed you to skip the Sealed Cave.

There's only one spot where I stop for a moment to shoot, and that's to avoid getting hit by the witch, which would cost more frames. All other shots in the level don't cost time. The shooting in the roller coaster portion doesn't cost time because it's autoscroll. I shoot as for something to do. --- WIP5 Managed to complete Stage 4 quite nicely. Now that brings into question my heart pickup way back in Stage 2. Boo hiss. :( Started Stage 5. Since I'll probably have to go back, I just got the heart pickup for the hell of it. I made it up to the top of the tower, but haven't done the ufo/alien fight, nor the boss fight up there. Stage 5 is fricken short... Stage 6 looks like it's gonna be a pain in the rear too.

I have all current videos, so if anybody needs anything reseeded, I'll do so when I have the chance. I have this movie seeded for now.

Though, wasn't one published movie played on a bad dump? I also don't see how a bad dump is like a hack, but whatever. This is unrelated to the current subject at hand. The movie itself I have no comment on.
http://tasvideos.org/1434S.html - http://tasvideos.org/690S.html Both of these are/were published movies done on bad dumps. But they aren't as lame as some of the 0-1 levels I've seen for SMB.

Since you didn't go back to Stage 1, I'll ignore the aesthetically unpleasing damage at the beginning of Stage 1. Outside of that, run looks good. YES vote.

I don't recall any lag, but it has been about a year since I have played the game so I may have forgotten all about it.. if any lag appears I would assume it would appear when there are more than 3 enemies or some sort of magic. If I can find the cartridge I will do some testing for lag.
It's not lag in the traditional sense. To my recollection it's a jerky ATB gauge. Think FFV, with less logic. As for your mention of the character challenges, The Lunar Dungeon isn't available until after you beat the game, and is only opened to people who were part of the final battle with Zeromus. So it doesn't matter. All that you could do that's not in the SFC/SNES versions is fight the bosses in the dungeon added to the mountain near Mysidia, but even that would take a couple of trips, since in order to face the boss, you have to have the "new" members in your party. So unless you somehow did major manipulation so you could use all 5 members at the same time, it'll take at least 2 trips.

The only downside of the GBA version is the apparent battle lag, but I'm sure you can find the proper settings for that, plus the extra scene near the end of the game talking about the extra cavern.

Very very interesting. I liked this. :)
How sure are we that this is a real game glitch and not some sort of emulation problem?
Let's not get into this argument again. ^^;; Anybody got a controller they can break to test this on a console? :P

I've got a little time today to work on things, and I've started back at the Stage 1 2nd boss, where I first saw a problem. I managed to beat him before he went into his 2nd hop, which allows a big chunk of time to be saved. Through the 1st stage, just that one minor change saved 167 frames. I might lose a few of those in Stage 2, as I think, based upon what I've played around with Stage 4, that I might need that boxed heart, which increases my HP level by 1, in order to save some time. Not sure at this point. Edit: Through stage 2, even with the detour for the heart, I'm now 207 frames ahead. I picked up a few frames by improving the Stage 2 boss fight by doing some stylized damage, and cutting out the excess I did as he ran to the left. Back to Stage 3 I go. --- Stage 3 is redone. 333 frames ahead of WIP3. ^^ Not sure where I gained all those frames, since most of it is autoscroller. >_>;; WIP4

Well, lurkers can always post, which allows them to express their opinion towards a movie even when they can't vote on it.

Goals of the movie: Clear the most difficult level in a B-type game (19-5). Clear all blocks in the level. Finish with a Tetris. Fast as possible.

Despite only being released for the Saturn, NiGHTS is not a particularly obscure game... Also, there is a subtle but important difference between "wallpaper" and "desktop screenshot".
Here's 500 points. BTW, I may have disabled desktop icons and minimized my taskbar because I didn't want to show things. Ever think of that?
