On one hand the hack is cool. NINJA METALMAN. On the other hand, the hack sucks for destroying MM2's awesome ending. Your gameplay seemed pretty good. There were a few spots that seemed wrong to me, most notably Flashman's level, where you shoot some of the breakable pillars yet run into others...it didn't seem logical. Will watch and fool around with some more before voting. But those are my initial thoughts.

I've always took at as "I'm heading back to Corneria." It makes logical sense too that that's where he'd go...to go reap his rewards for helping General Pepper defeat Andross.

Yeah, but he's just a silly guy in stripes from Pete and Pete. "The Strongest Man...in the World!" What's next...I have to change my name because I'm not dubbed a knight by the Queen of England?

Ok, I am dumbfounded right now. I have my doubts about the validity of this run (how did he know what the in-game timer was after lavos died?). A full translation would be very much appreciated Dromiceius.
To my understanding, he used a stopwatch from the last save point to determine the final time. That's what I got from the text.

Yes vote. One question about the game though... how does a metal weapon beat a guy thats basically a giant magnet? o_O
If there are blades that can cut diamonds, then magnets can be cut too.

Must be something goofy with your connection. Try this link then. http://ultimagarden.net/report.html At this time, it's the first link in the table.

I read reports (courtesy of SDA) that a Japanese player has beaten the present TAS time. http://ultimagarden.net/report/inichi_chrot_ta.txt THE END 03:49 The file is totally in Japanese though, so anybody who wants to figure out what's going on, hope you know your Kanji.

Question: In SRX, when you're going to resolve the 5 vents at the beginning of the game, isn't it faster to jump out and/or over of the water instead of slow-walking through it? This is the only issue I can think off of the top of my head in regards to this run.

Did the previous movie jump behind enemy's backs? Either way I thought it looked really good. Voting yes.
In some instances, yes.

Outside of making our eyes and ears bleed (again), nah it won't hurt anyone.
Dark Castle != Super Mario Bros. Dark Castle != Well known, legendary platformer I hope you'll get the point.
True, but... Dark Castle = Classically beloved crappy game that's well recognized for its bad graphics and sound

The trick is funny, because up-right gives different result than up-left. So I managed to improve the movie by 10 frames which is a lot. However, I think we'd better not submit it, because it does not look different. Once again, I have no idea how to improve it.
If they'll accept a submission improving Super Mario 1 by a single frame, they'll accept a submission improving this by 10, and this game is what...1/5 the length of SMB1?

I never knew a guy in heavy armor could be so nimble. The first YES vote comes from me. Great work!

Oh yeah, I remember this old site http://www.world-of-nintendo.com/Content/Game_Challenges_-_NES But like most stuff on that site, it's just junk that random people came up with off the top of their heads. Also, they changed it to some weird format where all games are linked, but you don't know if a game has any entries until you click on it and find yourself on the edit page.
I skimmed through it, and I don't think there's a single NES game there that HAS any content.

Yeah, only if you want to be off an hour for like, most of the year. Plus I'm also needing to know this for if computer customers come calling and asking me.

If you can at least confirm that the information is there at the specified location, that'll be a bonus.

Are you using a babelfish translator? Cause your sentences make no sense.
What's the new problem of the DST?
The problem is that a 2005 law change when DST starts and ends. Normally it starts the 1st Sunday in April and ends the last Sunday in October. However, this year it starts the 2nd Sunday in March and ends the 1st Sunday in November, hence the problem with computers, as they're all programmed under the old mechanism. Fortunately for XP, Server 2003, and Vista users, you've got the easy route to victory. However other Windows OS users have to manually fix their problem. I know this works on 2000, but if anybody has any other Windows OSes and can verify this information works on it, I'd appreciate it.

Removed as a perfect patch is out there on the internet. There's no more need for this long winded post.

Hacked intros are stupid.
Indeed. And then I do all this work and you guys reject the run? For shame. :(

The discussion is about that it should be played at a "harder" difficulty, which means using low level Pokemon all the time, or something.

Yeah, but if a Castlevania: Bloodlines run was rejected for not being the hardest difficulty when it mostly only affects the second-to-last boss fight length...
There's also tons of added enemies in Expert over Normal, and I believe your attacks do less damage and enemies deal more damage to you. But that run was rejected HOW long ago?

For anybody who has the Intro Hacked game, I've got a patch that'll give you the clean version which works with this game. THIS IS ONLY A PATCH. You still need the ROM, which I will not provide as it's against the rules. Patch for Jurassic Park III - Island Attack (U)

There actually are multiple endings in this game but the only thing that matters is armor parts. Beat the game with no upgrades to see a very very slightly modified ending (Zero gives a thumbs-up). But I think you meant Zero's parts collection? It wouldn't speed up the game any, and the Zero fight would be skipped...
Well, getting all the Zero parts make it normal Zero at the end instead of Black Zero. That's what I'm getting at.

4 colors? Oh come on. That's WAY too many. All you need are two...black and white. We could blow up aliens, asteroids, gobble pellets, and race cars...and so much more! *kisses my Atari 2600*
