Video (ReHawkedv1) Link to video What Changed?
Switched to BizHawk. Avoids the Love Bumps. (Unless Required, no love bumps so far.) Orb Eating Madness. Avoids Ghosts (No shit)
Bumps waste time, unless when turning (it was performed in the other video). I am updating Stage 2, I did it half awake. :V

Considering those 6 that you have done had no content on them for almost 2 years, the 7th which wasn't made by you was only a year (Paper Mario 64, created by Malleoz). The most illogical one was how the Crash Bandicoot one was set up. It was set up as a Crash Bandicoot 1 to 3. What? Each Crash Bandicoot game runs differently from one another, I'll explain to you what you could've done, separate each of the Crash games, and force me to do it or alternately splice off pirohiko's information from the two Crash Games he TASed. Crash 1 | Crash 2

This will most likely make the subs look like shit, but it's useful to actually check if the way you have it set up can actually read these files:
Language: avisynth

base = base.TextSub(left_ass) base = base.TextSub(right_ass) i = Get_ZoomLevel(base.Height, 1) base = base.PointResize(base.Width * i, base.Height * i)
The only reason I'm saying to do this, is because I'm unaware on what the subtitle files actually look like.

Claiming to obsolete: [809] SNES Mega Man X2 by FractalFusion, Graveworm in 31:42.45 Besides that, there's 290 frames at the end which is holding Start (291 including first input) and 1315 frames including that first Start which is blank input... so 1605 frames are apparently dud input or is it 290 frames? I would Spike the input to find out, but I'm tired and I don't want to wait like 10 minutes on this getting it to go through, if someone doesn't edit the input and post the fix, I'll come back and do just that. What raises my flags is "100% No Zero's Parts"... isn't the point to get Zero's parts to claim for 100%.. I'm confused by everything. Edit: Apparently those 1605 frames of what that is, is intentional. Thanks Capcom.

Between this and the other one, there is a lot more variety, gameplay and entertainment. I liked it, I'm giving it a yes.

You know we used to do 4k encoding, before 1080p60fps was a thing, this is very, very old news.

Huh... Spikestuff, what is it with you and surreal Japanese games?
You're asking me, the person who has TASed Tekken more than 10 times in total (counting revisions). Like I know.
EgixBacon wrote:
I understand how this game might be a challenge when playing it unassisted, but TASing it does not seem to be that much different from if you were to speedrun it RTA.
Re-read what FractalFusion wrote about the final bomb (Ito), Playing on hard, and having a 50/50 no matter what colour is said. The TAS managed to get the colour that was said aloud, which doesn't really represent this bomb well, I've managed to fail this bomb casually, by cutting the said wire, even though it was the other. This is a run killer. Paper, Scissors, Rock, everything can go wrong there, the other Mech can return with what you don't want, which for speedrunning sake, is paper, this is another run killer. Finally, the Moon. This bomb is a 50/50 too, but it's determined by a factor of the electricity going through preventing you to cut the wire, but that's not all, this bomb also suffers with a 50/50, so not only you have to wait for the electricity to pass, you have to cut the right wire. Version 1 of the TAS had to wait for electricity to pass, then cut the Red wire. Version 2, which is this version, had to cut the Blue one. You guessed it another run killer.

You're asking to implement something into BizHawk to make it less accurate than what it is currently.

Now assuming no input is lost forever. There are many different steps you can take, the easiest one is to (attempt to) upload it here for someone to look into. (If it doesn't upload, do an offsite like mega) All we basically need is the name of the game, and it shouldn't be an issue to wait on a fix. The alternate solution. Load the game on BizHawk, create a new tas project, save (as a different filename) and close BizHawk. Now, unzip both of them. Move "Header" and "Input Log" from the old project to the new one. Zip up the new one and change the extension from .zip to .tasproj Then pray that it works.

And how to improve this TAS? I have no ideas!
If I'm not mistaken, please someone correct me if I'm wrong. The game is a Lightgun game, and the only TAS emulator currently that support light gun is lsnes. So that's how you improve it. Going to ask. Will the list be updated, to support more runs?

Oh, dang, that's quite a bit. I'll patch all this up and then post the improvement file. If I don't actually complete this in time, requesting the judge to put it on delay. It shouldn't take that long to fix. Thanks Fractal! Edit: Good News about the Moon. It's now the blue wire, so a crap ton of time was just saved. Kawai Rika, both suggestions work. The Engine has been updated, and fixed. Doorknob has been updated. And Done: User movie #28932026074557884 (1415 frames saved) Thank you so much, Fractal for the improvement suggestions. I'll get an update encode up in a bit and updating that submission text... if I'm not lazy on the second one. If I did something wrong, please notify me, it's not that hard to fix input on this game, it's very kind... unless it's the Save/Continue screen. ugh.

To quote, the submission you're copying. adelikat: Rejecting because the author is currently improving this. BizHawk? What a total lie, BizHawk is not PCSX-rr, Also, Point Blank, is a very, popular game to TAS. Point Blank, going straight through the minigames in the Arcade mode, is something which would never be acceptable, considering Point Blank has a mode specifically for minigames which you can unlock all minigames by doing the requirements (yes, there is locked minigames). Namco has also put in this Point Blank an RPG type game to do these sorts of quests, which you can actually encounter the minigames (even though you should avoid them).
