Keep in mind the downloadables will definitely have the credit music. It's a total of 5 minutes of awkwardness if I keep it on the YouTube. If I can think of an alternate with the dead audio I'll do it but right now it's 2:2. If we have more of a talk about this copyright crap and stuff. I'll kill the audio but right now I'll sit here waiting. Yes, I'm sitting with a version which has credits and no audio and no credits... So I'm literally waiting on more comments.

Well... the glitch DOES work on Test Your Skill for the NTSC version... I am going to be stuck at Test Your Skill for some time until I figure out the fastest solution for TAS time. Anyways the Frame I have to beat is 3179 (where everything freezes)

Yea and I'm sitting with the biggest question mark above my head. Keep the Credits and Kill the audio or Remove the Credits for the YouTube. But feos is talking about, Judging your TAS.

Link to video For the curious. (Spoilers for the end) Luigi wins on Points. Luigi: 99820, Mario: 98550 I have a question for all... At the Final Phase I save 5 frames for a better TAS time. Should I return the 5 frames to get a better ingame time or keep it as it is? Because 3 of the 4 Test Your Skills I get: 13.6 (6.4) But the Last one I get: 8.3 (11.7)

Did you ever managed to figure that out? Is it possibly sub-pixel related?
Nope. Dunno. Luckily it's a thing which would probably matter for the Test Your Skill Phases only, so if it can be done during that then the the Test Your Skills is broken (That's if it saves FRAMES not ingame). I've paused my work on the NTSC version for a bit until I finish the PAL.

Completed the PAL version FINAL INPUT 27485. PAL Time: 09:09.62 NTSC Timing: 07:37.33 ScienenceFX: 09:02.76 = 27142 - Note: Game A and 1 Player LAST TIME I CAN USE SCIENENCE'S TIME! For future reference when I get to the next Phase, I was there at frame 24305 Final Kills (1 Frame is Optimal - Frame 0 is when it flips) Phase 01: 2 Frame Wait Phase 02: 2 Frame Wait Phase 03: 1 Frame Wait Phase 04: 13.6 (6.4) Phase 05: 1 Frame Wait Phase 06: 1 Frame Wait Phase 07: 1 Frame Wait Phase 08: 1 Frame Wait Phase 09: 13.6 (6.4) Phase 10: 1 Frame Wait Phase 11: 2 Frame Wait Phase 12: 2 Frame Wait Phase 13: 1 Frame Wait Phase 14: 1 Frame Wait Phase 15: 2 Frame Wait Phase 16: 13.6 (6.4) --Final Phases: Hardest-- Phase 17: 1 Frame Wait - 3 Enemies at once Phase 18: 1 Frame Wait Phase 19: 1 Frame Wait Phase 20: 2 Frame Wait Phase 21: 1 Frame Wait - I did a dumb, I had Mario here then forgot how I did the count and switched to Luigi... now it's Luigi. Phase 22: 1 Frame Wait Phase 23: 8.3 (11.7) DONE : 09:09.62 Red: Mario, Green: Luigi Well then... Mario is a jerk. Edit: Apparently Mario being slower doesn't matter. It equals up due to the final person doing the jump is the one which changes the result. I don't know how to explain it. But the Frame Wait doesn't matter. Basically I have to kill an enemy 1 or 2 frames after it flips or else later than that means it's slow. So no time loss.

Why are people still using that to TAS?
Why not. It's a "Deprecated emulator" which means it's "not recommended" but it doesn't mean that it isn't allowed. If the emulator is allowed then there is no issue there. Let me run down the emulators that are deprecated but still can be accepted. SNES9x 1.51, VBA (GB/C), Mupen64, PCSX-rr, Yabause and Dega. Even though MAJORITY (almost all) is now under Bizhawk doesn't show that they cannot be used/avoided. Well unless you're a crazy psychopath that likes a lot of desync. Be my guest and use that emulator (referring to Mupen). It's not my problem that you're using a emulator that isn't recommended. What? You lost 90% of your progress because you didn't create backups. Well that's too bad.

Incorrect. By holding a direction then shooting you can shoot one way. By switching another way very quickly you can shoot two ways. You ALWAYS shoot forward. Holding backwards and shooting you can obviously shoot backwards.

Okay. Differences between PAL and NTSC version of this game. PAL scrolls through the "zones" FASTER PAL Must hit the button to shoot. NTSC has auto shooting, when the button is hit no more shots. NTSC has faster load times but is bested by PAL version due to the "zones" themselves. It's a game you have to accept that uses the PAL version. Edit: That being written the 50 vs 60hz thing for TASVideos is a thing. Using your frame time of 19583 PAL : 06:32.75 NTSC: 05:26.71 This is why I'm hesitant to vote, due to the fact that PAL is faster in frame time but not time itself. Edit 2: Final words from me. NO VOTE. BWAH!? Your first Button push to start the game is at 222 to get out of demo then later at 276 to start the game. I'll tell you what frame you need to hit the button. Frame ONE. So there are improvements. I would look into the stages too. Because it looks like you need a set scores you need to reach to enter the next level. Edit 3: If no one believes me about how un-optimal it is here's the first zone: Link to video Note: Both use PAL, both are going on PAL timing the NTSC timing is to show what the time would be under the other region if it plays out the same but as I wrote at the start PAL goes through the Zone parts quicker so NTSC is more of a sub time than a time to take seriously when written out in frame and not time.

Well the game isn't lag frame heavy so this control locking issue you're having makes no sense. "Your goal is to reach the City of Mystery at the end of the tunnel and destroy Gond. In the tunnel zones, you maneuver around sharp rocks and barriers while battling weird flying objects. The more enemy objects you destroy, the more points you earn. If you make it to the City of Mystery and shoot Gond, you earn bonus points. But watch out! Gond could shoot you instead. If you survive the City of Mystery, you continue the game in Tunnel 2." The Zones: Mountain Zone Pod Power Rainbow Zone Stick Zone Rainbow Zone 2 Stripped Zone Rainbow Zone 3 Bleak Zone CITY OF MYSTERY TUNNEL 2 AND BEYOND "If you survive the City of Mystery, you are transported into Tunnel 2, where the pace is faster. The zones here are the same as in Tunnel 1, but they are not in the same order. Obstacles are the same except that in the Bleak Zone, Romedas shoot missiles. Tunnel 2 leads to another City of Mystery, which leads to another tunnel like Tunnel 1. You alternate between Tunnels 1 and 2 until you lose your last life and the game ends." source: https://atariage.com/manual_html_page.html?SoftwareLabelID=575

On Network Ten Australia they played Mrs. Doubtfire from 7:35 to 10:07 (AEST). This pushed back Under the Dome and they removed Save with Jamie and NCIS. The Project dedicated their time talking about Robin Williams. Asking others what their best memory/movie/other of Robin was they brought it up to other people during different segments, like talking to the latest Doctor from Doctor Who. and asking Peter Capaldi at the end of his segment what his favourite thing was. Genie, you're free. Edit: Also during The Project they mentioned a few times within the show if you are thinking about committing suicide or graving depression to call Lifeline. Lifeline is suicide prevention number (for the uninformed).

No, towards jlun2. Dokokashira door is a glitch which is only exclusive to the Japanese version of Red and Green. Remember this, I only wrote Red and Green. Japan's Pokemon Blue is our Blue and Red. I don't remember the story behind Yellow but it came out after Blue and that was also a game which fixed a few glitches from the other versions.

The run looks fairly optimal. Also letting everyone knows it does sync on FCEUX too, latest version infact (2.2.2). Anyways, creating a temp encode for this.

PS1 version you must listen to everything Gex says and cannot be turned off. N64 version you can shut Gex up. ~3 Minutes of time saved by doing it. ...and some other stuff and N64 is much faster by a greater time (for an RTA).

Oh joy... Oh joy copyrights. Oh bloody hell this will be a nightmare then. I was entertained a lot happened over a long period of time and hooray for skipping scenes or else my entertainment would've dropped completely. Yes Vote. Well this would be a very fun and long one to encode. I kinda want to call out that I can do this as final encode because of what needs to be done for the YouTube encode which involves quite the number of switching screens.

Okay... now lets have a look at the input shall w-. What in the world? Okay I'll explain it. In FCEUX there is a TAS Editor located under Tools. It shows your inputs in a keyboard roll. These red boxes are known as Lag Frames. These are frames where you cannot put any input. To see if you're in lag frames while TASing go to Config > Display > Lag Counter What surprises me is you actually got the input to start the game (784) correct. Your movement in this game starts at frame 944 (Judging if you hit start at 784). It's also missing the common trick which is used in Mario Bros. to get to top speed.
R L
R L A
Rx19
No Input

Rx7

...
Something like that. Here's a comparison between my input and yours for 1-1: Link to video I think my ingame time is equal to HappyLee's Mario Bros. Probably slower by a few frames or same. shrugs
