The Diablo crew did some insane investigation work, so honestly it would be hard to select a single runner out of the bunch, even trying to separate for a "who's the best" out of them.
I'll say Diablo crew (dwangoAC, ephphatha, staphen & AJenbo) but also eien86's continued domination over Prince of Persia.

Spikestuff - I gotta be honest. I don't like the game this person beat this year, but I respect the overall effort.
What do you mean by that?

Look, when you face Crash Bash, you basically need a checkup afterwards.
That's why the Crash Bash Tournaments are made the way they are.

Kind reminder that community driven support to restore dislikes are extremely inaccurate to what actually goes on.
Especially when sometimes these are driven by assumptions, and not actual stats.
A good example from prolific YouTube channel LinusTechTips.
Linus Sebastian showcased that dislikes viewed by this add-on was almost double compared to the actual numbers.
Moral of the story. Do not trust it.

This title runs at 32fps, the submitted file is 24fps.
Even with the info on how to grab the TAS of this game does not sync.
Please for future reference don't resize the game for the submission, do that as an alternative file please.

Yeah, if this was about to get reconsidered I would've just pointed out that this only does a single part and not the entire alphabet (if you ever played this game you'd understand, basically "levels").

For the first one it's an extremely old TAS (17 years ago) where it may be better to have a major revision.
As for 16 Star. There's allegedly progress being made for a more definitive one in which the route/run is allegedly being revised continuously (much like 120).
There's also an SBLJless TAS that's faster than that unrestricted 16 Star TAS, just to like prove that there's room for improvement.

I was also able to play Hotline Miami in Windows XP, with a different version of Pixomatic, but the game seems to be too slow for the emulated cpu with software rendering. It's also a Directx 8 game.
fwiw, Hotline Miami is a Native Linux game that can run in libTAS.

This is because you didn't edit the movie file. I didn't want to point the finger (but now I have to) at mohoc, who edited my movie to "remove unecessary input" and set it as the submission because... one of the ending button presses was a whopping 2 frames late.
I used your input that you provided.
Therefore by that case, you failed to provide the input correctly, so I actually made no errors and fsvgm777's statement holds true.
mohoc doesn't have direct access to your usefiles.
Quit blaming others.

And the person who edited my movie got rid of the last Z input, so the movie never gets back to the title screen.
The input that I got, the input that I dumped, never advanced to no title screen. I never removed an input, that's how it came out.
As for the colours. I dumped it, that's how it presented itself, I published it as is.
I'm more appalled that rather than being nice, and cropping the image to make more of a point, especially on a site intended for all ages, you decided to hyperfixate on the boobs.
This honestly lines up with how you were posting and acting on the Discord about it, how you were making jokes about the tits in the game, and how you are being quite disgusting at that point and now.
The other bit which you don't know about, is we had a discussion on whether or not this should be warned, due to the content at play.
But due to us having examples from other properties that pass at a Teen and below rating, we thought that it not having it is completely justified.
However, the way you're hyper-fixated on this as "property" honestly makes me want to put it on due to you being creepily perverse about it whilst making your "points".

Technically yes, and no.
Yes being Neo handles certain titles better than MAME.
No being Alpha doesn't.
Probably the most common thing talked about was how FinalBurn handles Capcom/NeoGeo titles better than MAME.
