Seconded. Also, from a random point of view. Wouldn't it be more appropriate for it to be a single cursor with a trail. Or a keyboard, shaped to an hourglass or something else? I'm pitching ideas here.

Damn. I was really hoping that Bible Buffet was going to be your only Newcomer TAS. I mean, this is a very nice TAS... That Buffet though... Voting Yes, and early call on publication.

The TAS was well made. However, due to the routing that was chosen by using warps instead of all exits what was shown off just tastes bland. It doesn't show off much of this hack. The hack itself isn't as well known, which also goes by the date when this was made public. This year on the 11th of November. Due to also breaking the camera. Not knowing where Mario was in the area doesn't help it either for how new this rom hack is. This point is more of a grain of salt. I'm going to give this a solid Meh Vote.

Oh... So this is a super-human TAS of swiping and tapping to the prompts... So it's somewhere in between PaRappa the Rapper, Rhythm Heaven, DDR and WarioWare: Touched! Well, I got bored fairly quickly watching this and skipped ahead whilst watching this. Voting a No, in terms of Entertainment.

I don't know how to use JPC-RR for the life of me I was trying to find a clean version, but I can give an example on a possibility of acception. It was a Cracked version of Apple II's Tapper. I did find a non-cracked version and it synced with my Cracked one. But that matters on a fact. It didn't have a screen prior (crack intro) to it, it was integrated to the game's title screen. If the game has a crack intro, or a screen that shouldn't be there before the game screen. You have a high chance of being rejected for it. But, if it doesn't. And someone is able find a non-cracked version your TAS does have a chance of staying. What you brought up, seems similar to what happened to me. We've rejected TASes that have had Crack intros. So dig deep and try to find a clean version.

The current TAS is very optimized, I'm only 180 frames ahead after stage 1.
The current TAS is also "1 player" not "2 players". Going by Battletoads as the example. This will be accepted alongside the 1 player version.

Rumor has it that completing the Kill Screen stage the next stage won't result in a Kill Screen.

Right. You did a job that was entertaining. However, your rerecord count suggests you didn't put much effort into it. The opening menu input proves towards this statement. Even though your TAS does focus for Ingame time you need to at least clean your input. I did try and go ahead to fix this input. However I desynced when watching you play the course with the corrected input. I desynced about here: You don't turn into the wall. The correction input does. I'll provide the input, if you go ahead to correct this. User movie #35753692790804221 Please, if you do this again. Disable the memory cards and player 2 as well as setting player 1 to "Gamepad" as this game doesn't use the analog sticks (except in the Turbo Mode). Do not select whatever music track to accompany you in it, it slows you down this is what some of the sloppiness you provided. And I want to encourage you to do all the tracks in one movie file. Not separating them. Edit: This took a bit to upload. So I do apologize. Blame my Internet. Here's an alternate encode from behind the car: Link to video

Alright. Let's get a few things out of the way. Yes. The "playaround" project died, fairly early into it, so not much lost. Aswell it was done on psxjin which carried its minor problem. Secondly, I'd like to address this video that's on twitter. (I was going to module it on the forums but issues.) Anyways. Let me pass on a very important file. The lovely speedrunner Shirdel has passed on a Verification Movie for all to enjoy. It's made for 1.11.9.1 but can sync down to 1.11.6 (I haven't checked older versions). The SaveRAM to that Movie can be grabbed from MEGA. Even though, the bk2 file is quite smart and actually has the save file inside it. What's with the files? Well. Playaround is back in action, is what's up with them. The project moved to Hawk 1.11.9.1 and hopefully this time we won't have some people that want to join to desync. knocks on wood Here's the video for the first WIP. Some of you might know where this input came from. Link to video And you're right. It did come from the psxjin project. The input ends there. The next character is Xiayou. However you can change the next character. Going into player 2's input you can change the length of how long Right is held after the last XO/34 pressed. Movie File Bios: SCPH5501

Hopefully this project will be long, and deserving of doing better than the previous playaround, featuring more characters (more Mokujin) and more ways to do different moves.

I'm still more interested in watching it go to Kill Screen as this is the Arcade version. But if it becomes its own thing and has 2 different branches for the Arcade version so be it. Voting a weak Yes on Entertainment.

Lua update for Tekken 3 (USA): Tekken3U - v1.0 lua (3.39kb) - BizHawk Tekken 3's lua has been updated for Hawk. Key Requirements for use: Mednafen Mode Window Size: x2 And it works wonders with Mokujin once more. There's also a bonus for when you hit "j" (or "J") (k/K disables it, (I is a save function, blame BizHawk.)) It's beneficial for speeding through menus so you don't have to look back over the input, or check into menu. There are issues which glare out for me. The obvious is compared to the psxjin version is that the script won't automatically show/hide things it does/doesn't require... except the for the two timers which hide when it's 2 players. If I do remember how I got those values. I will bring it in, for a minor update.

You should probably explain this point a lot better than how you presented it with. Stating it like this means nothing. As literally logging is something you can do in IRC and have it sorted by date. The way you should've explained it is like this: You can go where you want on whatever device has Discord and never miss a beat from the conversation. Compared to IRC where you can only keep one connection alive to get everything going, and if you open up on a different device, you'll lose track of that conversation. Yet again, the counter point to it is that IRC logging it is much, much better than what Discord provides as you're able to keep data from years ago. Whereas if you want to find that point in time with Discord, good bloody luck trying to find it.

This was brought up in another topic. Also, No. Join the IRC. Majority of the users that actually do use the TASVideos' forums sit there. And you're a first time poster/user which increases the No. It would also have to be created by a Administrator or a Senior member (or someone with a high rank) not you. A user who not only just joined, but is also someone who has been new to the scene since June/July this year.

Just mainly been observing this topic. Isn't FractalFusion's TAS falsified due to how he set his GBHawk's core up by setting Equal Length Frames?

I know you're not an idiot as you have done your fair share of PS1 games on Hawk. But I will dumb it down a bit. Make sure the cue file has the correct FILE within it for both tracks. Tools > Multi-disk Bundler System: PSX Browse for the cue files (if it's the cue/bin combo). When playing the game and you're prompted by a disk switch goto PSX > Disc Controls. You should be able to choose which disk you want to use. That should be your issue corrected for you. Alternate Method.

No. Plus personally I don't care if I have to reencode all that just to be uptodate. Also "glitchless" has been a dead branch for a while now.

is there a harder difficulty in this version with any more stages?
I ain't going to check far into it, but apparently the harder difficulty is down to the switches behind the machine, so you don't have to go through the game machine settings itself. There's also a video of someone playing (and confirming they're using) the hardest difficulty, however there doesn't seem to be an extension of anything to it.
